People in this game are crazily strong. Barrett held on to a sling with one arm, while carrying 2 adults with a buster sword. Tifa could easily pull down levers with 1 arm that Red had to use his whole body weight.

FF7RE has one of the most cinematic combat systems of all times and it's crazy good and deep on top of that with the Materia System and how well it's implemented into the game the awsome bosses on hard mode just make it even better can't wait for Rebirth hopefully they will give Cloud a dual wielding stance that resembles how he fought in Advent Children

Rebirth made the combat very fluid by introducing aerial combat as well so the teleport thing came as a result. Remake was grounded but despite that, I just love Rebirth's combat
That’s beautiful. I absolutely loved FF7 back in late 1997 and early 1998 to the point it overtook my life. I was only 16 when it came out and I still have my copy with the receipt that I use as bragging rights today. I recently bought a PS5 slim and started playing FF7 remake. It’s such an amazing experience to relive those days on a modern console with graphics that would make DaVinci jealous
My favourite thing about the combat is using a limit break and its first hit does enough damage to trigger a cutscene and the rest of your limit is void. Good times
I love it because if you’re good at action games, it can be fast paced and flashy like this but if you’re not then you can take it slower and have time to think through what you want to do. And if you don’t want to mess with the action bits at all you can play it like the old ATB system to an extent. Outside of the hardcore “I won’t play it if it’s not turn based” crew, this combat system has something for everyone. I think it’s perfect.
@@trufreedom It is a hybrid as it utilizes the atb active time battle system. You can have it run while in motion or you can have it stopped so while fighting the menus open up. And everything pauses like you are playing a traditional turn based game with action mechanics.
Final fantasy 7 remake is sone of the funnest combat I’ve done in any game. I loved it. They did an amazing job, and crazy how smooth it was and also because it was designed originally for controller, it feels as smooth as an mmorpg’s keyboard and mouse combat.
This reminds me of fighting sephiroth in the coliseum in kingdom hearts when I was in uni. My roommate had played through it and I just picked it up out of curiosity to see what it was like. I must have clocked about 20 hours just on bullet hell sephiroth. I could get him down to 1 HP almost every time but couldn't get that last hit in.
The lack of arial combat that cloud is known for, is what makes me not enjoy this combat system. They should have went with 15's combat system style for remake... And rebirth made that happen. It's like 15 combined with a new style now. Thanks for the improvements devs.
And rebirth took that combat and made it even better🫡 both games are like a more mature kingdom hearts and they have amazing combat I hope part 3 keeps it up and even improves on rebirth

It is so much more satisfying than Rebirth they just made Rebirth ridiculous with the amount of abilities and options. Remake was perfect in my opinion a challenge but not difficult grasp and master. Rebirth I didn’t get somewhat comfortable until chapter 6-7. Which is half way through the game. No game should take more than an hour to two hours to start being comfortable getting used to it.
I rocked him with tifa lol. One time he even used his limit at the same time as tifa and she overpowered him xD mine did damage but your invincible during a limit.

Imo the FF7RE is the best transition from Turn based to action combat a RPG series has ever done...

FFXV and FFVII Remake is one of my favorite games in term of combat system
Wasn't expecting my boy Saitama Theme playing but this just made my day even BETTER.

Final fantasy 7 remake is sone of the funnest combat I’ve done in any game. I loved it. They did an amazing job, and crazy how smooth it was and also because it was designed originally for controller, it feels as smooth as an mmorpg’s keyboard and mouse combat.
