Hey! just a tip, unless you're really confident with descriptive writing, it is always a better idea to go with the narrative writing option. Simply because, in the descriptive writing, it's very easy to include narrative elements in your writing that could cause you to loose marks. I'm an IGCSE English First Language A student, and i just wanted to share this with ya'll :) (I chose the narrative option) Nevertheless, the tips in this video are quite helpful 😊

my fav subject is only English , i always got A n the 2nd highest marks in my class , but on Jan 2020 my teacher said she had to continue studying to reach the phd level n im so sad💔 while she leaves , there was a new teacher teaching us and I was trying to get used to the new teacher . and during a trial test last March, I got a C result . I really miss my old teacher who always talks about her life and is very close to her students . I pray that my teacher can achieve her ambitions and I promise to show the best results in SPM which should be implemented in 2020 but postponed to February 2021 .
