The only way out of the softlock is to win the master ball from the lottery which you only get one attempt at a day. Otherwise you can’t catch any Pokémon to escape pacifidlog town.

    The Oddish softlock can be made even worse if it only knows Swords Dance, Sweet Scent, Flash, and Double Team, and it had the power points of all those maxed out. Since none of these moves are capable of dealing damage, your only method of escape would be using Struggle, and in order to do that, you'd have to go through 136 total combined power points. Keep in mind, though, that since Struggle causes recoil damage, you could only knock out a few Pokemon before fainting yourself, and then you'd have to start the whole process all over again

    What an incredible blessing to watch someone discover a niche that speaks to so many others, and to not only create content about it, but to carve out a niche form of content presentation for it.
    This video (and the Ruins of Alph one) could act as the foundation of an inverted Kubler-Ross’ “5 Stages of Grief” theorem. I moved from unconsciously engaged and inattentive, to engaged and curious, to deeply moved and emotional.
    Please keep up the great work; as others have said, it shows in the quality. What you’re making means something in a time of fleeting novelty.

    I can see someone doing an anime series on this kind of thing, like the main character is going through lots of games getting characters out of their self imposed soft locks.

    • @Gigadander
      @Gigadander 17 дней назад +1

      There's already one kind of. Quality Assurance in Another World. The characters are debuggers which are checking the glithes in the game. Most of characters are abusing creative mode and getting softlocked in glitched parts of the game. The main character is the only one not abusing it.

      @Gigadander I didn't know about that, I knew of the dot hack sigh series, sword art online, and raganagrok online series but I didn't know about that particular one. The other series are much more of a someone is trapped in the game or we are simply playing the game sort of anime. The Digimon, monster rancher, and many other anime are much more of a this thing is its own special world thing that the main character gets shepherded to. If you didn't know of those anime prior I hope that they are able to entertain you.
