Brisbane is absolutely the best! Been here 46 yrs and wouldn't live anywhere else and I've been all over Australia. Only problem Brisbane/Queensland has now is the influx of people from others states moving here in huge numbers!
People moving around on the country they were born on.. oh such a problem. You monkey
Yeah lol probs either due to certain laws or cheap rent or land.
NIMBY BOY thinks Brisbane and Q'LD are the best but resents newcomers coming to the same conclusion...lol
Neal mate, I wanna thank you heaps. Coming out of a nine months long winter here in Uk, longing for those few days of not-cold weather called summer, your Ozzy content is an absolutely necessary way to start the day. It's that taunting season of Spring here, where the days start off bright & sunny , but during the time it takes to get dressed they've tip-toed away. By the time you've stepped out the front door in your jeans & t-shirt, it's freezing-yer-arse-off weather & you realise you were being very rash to ditch your woolly tights, fleecy under-layer and heavy-duty jacket.
It's all more bearable when you can get a dose of Oz before you venture outdoors - works better than a dose of vitamin D. So yeah, thanks for this, and the way your laughter infects every clip & helps to lift people's spirits. (uh, well this particular person at the very least) 😁😁
Take care out there! 🫂😧👍🌞
I can say something bad about Brisbane and that it gets bastard hot and humid all year round, except for three days, and that's their winter. The rest of the year, it's either hot and dry or hot and wet.
His description of newcastle, Wollongong and Darwin were spot on
The rest are also pretty accurate
I love Adelaide, it's real and really beautiful - lighten up guys! 😁👍 Oh, Newcastle and Wollongong are still growing, try them again! Bathurst has real history and beauty! Gold Coast is so sleazy! Darwin is so different! Perth is a desert planet rest station! Brisbane does stink, sorry no clean water or any space at all! Hugging in gross humidity 🫂, no thanks! Agreed about Sydney, but it depends where you live, yes Hong Kong emptied here! Geelong, is up and coming, soon! Hobart is superior, all the history is still intact and the food amazing! Canberra, rich and cold! 😁👍
Brisbane born and bred. Try take me outta here I fight ya I fight ya 🤣 keep it secret bruh
Oh dear..Kochie was trying to emulate Peter Garrett from the iconic Aussie band Midnight Oil...I can't believe he thought he could be cool like Peter Garrett. Check out some Midnight Oil songs that were big hits in Australia!! Especially US Forces (the song Kochie was trying to sing..)
Peter Garrett isn't cool either.
Perfect description of cairns! I lived there 10 years. It’s Australia’s Deep South
lived in Brisbane (Brisvegas) for 11 years in my time in the Army.. I would move back tomorrow if I could afford it
Up here in Queensland we call Melbourne people Mexicans
According to friendly jordies, now they are British 😂😂😂
And Banana benders as wankers! lol
So does that make you Seppos or Kilted Yaksmen ?
I love living in Canberra. Let's be real, most of us are not public servants or politicians. I mean, you need every type of worker to run a city. Lots of beautiful places to visit, a traffic jam usually only happens in peak times or after a car accident, a low crime rate compared to the other cities. Great restaurants, nightlife, and touristy places for the visitors. And if we need to..we just travel to experience other places.
I mean most of us are public servants lol
@@aidancocking4014used most of my public service pay to do psychedelic trance party's in the surrounding bush.
FU. Worked 20 years for the press gallery... got to do some hectic shit.
I live in Adelaide and i love Adelaide, but i also love Perth. I think it's a similar laid back vibe.
G'day Mate! Pretty much spot on but maybe should have mentioned that of all those places Melbourne/Geelong have the worst weather in Australia...Cheers!
Not worst. Just never boring, because it's the only city that gives you all 4 seasons in 1 day.
You haven't tried Hobart then
You haven't tried Hobart then
Neal i think you are in Texas. I hope that you and your family stay safe.
Great content 👍
Melbourne born and raised (I lived in Adelaide for a couple of years and came back. I’ve also live in Atlanta, Georgia for a year and came back both times) I love Melbourne! We’re known as the sporting capital of Australia (you can go and see pretty much any type of sport you like like cricket, tennis, football, netball, soccer, etc) we have the international comedy festival and other festivals. Many many things to do.
JB HiFi is pretty much the same as Best Buy
Melbourne - sporting capital of Australia - always something to see and do!!
So no one else plays sport besides people in Melbourne?
@@marealanham2900 No one else does it as well :-D
I am from Melbourne, and this is false, Boring city, just go to Sydney, you get much more bang for your buck. Seethe & Cope
Yes Bro, friendly got it perfect! 😅
Me a Melbournian, love cheese cake and coffee. Especially coffee. Speaking of which, Melbourne does make the best coffee in the country.
I’m from Perth & yes, the meth is here. Come to Perth for the fine beaches & meth 😂😂
Melbourne is good if you like food, theatre and booze. And that's about it. Not enough summer to be fun, but great shows and art. Darwin is my 2nd fav, because of the booze and, well, other things lol
You forgot to mention coffee. Coffee is Melbournians culture
Lived in Perth for about 5-6 years... we're like the relative you always forget exists... nothing comes here.
So much to do in Victoria water, fishing, water skiing, snow skiing, swimming without sharks lakes , rivers , high country, jamison , eildon national park ,Camping along rivers , 4 wheel driving , mountain biking, hikes, bike trails through old railway tunnels , bridges , sailing , lake Eildon , day visit from Melbourne, animals now you do see kangaroos and more in the wild .
Brisbane is the best, it's underrated, maybe that's why it's ideal, it's a city but has a vibe of a big town. Maybe am bias but it depends on you and how you want to live obviously.
Melbourne here. Jordie's from Sydney. They've always been insecure about Melbourne. Melbourne couldn't give a rats about Sydney.
I did move here from Brisbane when I was 7 tho. But all the other kids in my primary school did seem to be Melbourne born and bread.
J.B. HIFI Is a store where you buy tv and electronic equipment
Two many floods in Brisbane and Queensland...
No Melbourne is full of things to do! I’m guessing he’s from Adelaide lol
The best view of most of these cities is the one in the rear view mirror!
Best part of Sydney is the road out of Sydney
Now I seen it all, Koshie doing peter Garret. Well he does have thing, he is bald.
Smart Arsery is his game.....wears thin very quickly.
Need to leave blue mountain alone , it beautiful towns
Melbourne (probably most of Victoria, which is lovely and has some great scenic drives and a fantastic aquarium, don't get me wrong), but I saw two grown men getting so excited about going to the Gold Coast in Queensland, and I'm like 'huh? why? it's a dump" and they go "ALL THE ATTRACTIONS! Wet n Wild, Seaworld, that other place with the accident prone roller coasters" and then I realized. Victoria doesn't have anything like that at all. There's a museum kind of place in Castlemaine. And you can get a gold mining licence and bake your brains sifting dirt somewhere near there. But that's it. No amusement parks of any kind. Apart from being able to (actually, obliged to) eat out after 10 pm, screaming kids and all, there are no amusement venues in Victoria, let alone Melbourne. So it's all true. The cheesecake is great though.
I'm not joking when I say that, I heard a rumour that Avalon might be turning into Disney land. What a nightmare that will be. I still haven't forgotten what people went through during the air show this year.
@@c.u.c7938 What did they go through? and how did I miss that news?
@Kayenne54 the traffic came to a gridlock for several hours, many people were somehow for whatever reason were denied entry, people had to walk 1 hour to get inside the venue. It was abseloute chaos.
@@c.u.c7938 That's crazy. I bet everyone was NOT impressed.
Melbourne is great at night, but is actually quite boring during the day apart from the parks. Sydney is the opposite, it is beautiful during the day but their nightlife is quite mediocre for a city of it's size. Brisbane is hot and humid during the day, and is similar to Melbourne in that it's better to be in Brisbane at night. It has South Bank, eagle street pier, Howard Smith Wharves, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, Eat Street Markets and some up and coming places such as Queens Wharf. All of these places are better to see at night by catching a river ferry. But during the day it's way too hot, and so most Brisbane people head to the Gold or Sunshine Coast during the day on weekends and return at night for the night scene. Gold Coast has an alright night scene too. In all, South East Queensland has day/night things to do for people of all ages.
Melbourne is like that goth chick in high school.
haha up the Gong
Innisfail parkies pubs and pommys
Aah Hobart; Capitol of Tasmania home of the Devil. Not all Tasmanian urbanites live in Hobart. Fortunately Launceston in the north of the state can be a wise alternative.
yay ADELAIDE!!!
There is stuff to do here in Melbourne but it will cost your left Nut or first Born to do anything. And, bloody Kochie.. sorry 🤣
goodie
Yeah Melbourne is good for food and booze. That’s about it. Good fun in your twenties then u come to Brisbane. That’s why our kids can’t buy houses up here. Melbournians bought all the property
And those two Victorians who thought the Gold Coast was amazing, also thought everyone in Queensland was a multi-millionaire. I didn't get to the bottom of that mystery. Maybe because, at least on the very outskirts of Brisbane, people had "big" properties? (sometimes). Land being so expensive in Melbourne proper..."You lived on 1 acre? Wow, you must be rich!" kind of thinking.
@@Kayenne54 When people from Gold or Sunshine Coast come to Brisbane they standout due to their attire. They wear brands bought from City Beach such has Billabong, Quicksilver, Roxy and Ripcurl. Brisbane is not a beach city by any sense of the word. It is an inland riparian - botanic city, and the standard attire is cotton shorts and a plain t-shirt, the type of clothes you buy at Cotton-on. You will very rarely see coastal attire in Brisbane, to the point where if you see it, you can't help but stare with perplexity. Sydney is a city beach city like Gold Coast, and I've seen people wearing boardshorts at Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. I know the vast majority of Australia wear coastal attire.
sorry the high prise of "Brisbane" F off,
ok every city has it's querks but starting factor of where to go is by "getting around", some towns may not have any transport so walk/cycle everywhere
CITYs how ever with their big transport network, you got to look at age of vehicles & frequency, and THAT there my friend is were Brisbane falls LAST (30 min apart)
Brisbane has electric trains to the Gold and Sunshine Coast, that's pretty good.
@@bena8121 so what! Sydney got electrics to Newcastle, Wollongong & beyond - key part of my statement is that Brisbane has the longest time between metropolitan trains at 30min - little station, middle of the day see a train (sydney)15min>less - (Melb) 20min - (perth) 15min>less Oh and Brisbane got the Olympics soon
@@paulwilliams5208 I think it might be due to lack of drivers. Hopefully when cross river rail is complete along with 65 or so new trains, things should get better.
One child's opinion.
Yeah Geelong is pretty shit. I got nothing for that
Seriously dude, come to Australia and see it for yourself...
Whyalla it's a bit shite but it's not to bad
