I LOVE this palette, but honestly the first thing I did was removing Victorian Trim and replacing it with Mercurial (which has a purple base) because that pink shade just makes me look like I have an eye disease.

I’m of course seeing this through my own eyes/taste, but I’m thrown off by the Victorian Trim (brick-raspberry-magenta?) shade. It’s too immature and carnivalesque. Not a Barbie fan : ( But heather tones especially look great with green eyes, so I love all that!

Thanks so much for normalizing lip filler bruises and not waiting or covering them up to film. I think that’s awesome! Everyone does it, and we need to just accept it and not have shame. My husband was being critical at lip fillers and Botox, probably bc what he sees are the famous extremes… but I finally told him “Hey, I’ve been getting them for the last 10 years and you’ve never noticed. Also, here are all our friends we respect who do it as well”. So he’s super supportive now - I know doctors who do it for people who have no idea their wives do it too. It’s hilarious how unaware they are
What saved me when I stopped drinking suddenly (car accident, mild-moderate TBI, hellscape of head ouchies) was getting a soda stream. Especially in summer when I just want a cold, fizzy drink when I come home. I buy concentrates or varied juices and mix that with the soda water. Idk, I really missed the carbonation.
I'm surprised by your reluctance to use these purples, because to my eye it looks absolutely amazing on your brown eyes. 👌 ✨ Have I been doing it wrong this whole time?! 😬😅
This eyeshadow colour is so polarising and so on the face. It will be very hard to find bronzer/contour/blush/lipstick in the same colour family and not turn into oompa loompa 🤣. Reasons why I only stick to earthy tones eyeshadows because anything goes with em ❤️. Thank you so much for the review.

Accents! I'm from lower Alabama, and I live in Austin, TX, so when my friends try to impersonate my accent, they sound like Leslie Jordan (RIP) or Rhett Butler - just none of the subtlety! You did a beautiful job with the palette but agree with you that this color story doesn’t work with your skin tone. I have a cool undertone and let my grey grow out during Covid so it works well for me. I love this palette. Love your lips too. They will look great! So want to do my lips but haven’t yet.
I love Myth! I’m a purple shadow fan. I don’t think you necessarily have to follow color theory but I have green eyes and purples are good on me. I want to do something with Victorian Trim but I’m going to have to plan that one out. I know it will look good with my eyes BUT I am a 911 dispatcher and spend 12 hours looking at multiple computer screens. My eyes tend to go red hours into the shift and colors of that nature will exaggerate it. Placement & eyeliner will be key. Sorcery is my final boss. I never wear green or blue shadows outside of Halloween costume purposes. I tend to think blue shadows are tacky. It’s a holdover feeling from growing up in the 80s. Many women were into the bright, white, blues and I hated them as a child. Anytime I’ve done blue for a costume or stage performance I’ve gone with a darker blue. I’ve already played with Sorcery and I love it, so that’s the good news. I haven’t done a look out and about with it yet.
Interesting, I also found that the plummy purple is what pulled this palette together. Otherwise I think I'd have to cool off my complexion with foundation and wear a turtleneck. 😆

Hi kackie looks beautiful my friend im very sick not covid got side effects from flu shot due to my meds but also this year's is very strong and I'm a high risk heart ♥ patient so I had to get the vaccine and already got the covid vaccines all of them and had 5he covid last strain that came out back in end June early July and this flu is worse then covid and I have pulmonary issues as well I have alot of heart ♥ failure, PAH , artificial heart ♥ mitral valve and tricuspid is still bad anyways watching this video helps
I would never use the bright colours ever so it’s really a waste for me, maybe Lisa will have an option to buy an empty case and choose your own colours. Not all of us are makeup artists. I find palettes really wasteful and in this day and age it’a a shame that we end up spending money on something we can’t use fully 😕

I've been doing work in rural NC recently (I live in the Philly area) and HOT DAMN those accents are specific! I love regional speech patterns so it's been really interesting.
Myth is a beautiful color way, but intimidates me. Saturated purples/magentas in general make me look sickly, clothing or otherwise. I *DID* end up buying Vega and it's wonderful. Maybe I'll purchase some single shadows to pop in there if I wanna switch up things. The formulas of these eyeshadows are truly magic.

I've been doing work in rural NC recently (I live in the Philly area) and HOT DAMN those accents are specific! I love regional speech patterns so it's been really interesting.
Myth is a beautiful color way, but intimidates me. Saturated purples/magentas in general make me look sickly, clothing or otherwise. I *DID* end up buying Vega and it's wonderful. Maybe I'll purchase some single shadows to pop in there if I wanna switch up things. The formulas of these eyeshadows are truly magic.
These aren't the colors for me. They look incredible in you!
