Hi. 2. Change storage settings if your PDF won’t save. Your PDF editor or reader might not know where to send your saved files, meaning they won’t save anywhere. To fix the problem, follow these steps: Open the file in Acrobat. Click Acrobat and choose Preferences at the bottom of the dropdown menu. In the Preferences panel, select General and check the box beside “Show online storage when saving files.” Press OK. This correction to your storage settings may allow you to finally save your PDF.
@@ammad_shah i removed acrobat reader, reinstalled again, tried in mac. check the above setting " show online storage when saving files" and opening files. Both are checked. Still it wont print and save

Hi. So you need to mention everything/anything you did in last two years. So, if you only studied just mention that and if you also worked in the same period, also mention that in a separate box. From your question it looks like you only studied so just mention in occupation/study box the title of you high school study.

Hi. So 1) you start from the latest and go to the oldest. 2) so as long as guarantor read all information and signed it’s doesn’t matter if your sign date is after his sign date. 3) this is tricky as guarantor needs to read everything and if you put information which goes beyond his signing date, it could mean he never saw that information. So this third point depends on passport officer how he takes it but I would advice that you avoid such mistake. Thanks I hope it will help

Hi. So in your occupation or study period of to date box has latest date then it’s fine. Also I think it’s good if the signatures are not more than 3 months old. You can tell this to passport officer ( that I filled form two months ago but c I Kent find time to submit) and they can tell you if there is any issue. It is good if you clarify this to him urself. I believe it won’t be any issue as long as you claim that guarantor read everything and signed. To keep it consistent for you occupation/study latest date follow the guarantors’ signed date so you can say that u filled two months ago and the guarantor signed it at that time. I hope there won’t be any issue and I hope the answer makes sense :) I am happy to help

I’m confused about page number 1 and page number 3, if I can but 2 same person information one where is the signature and the other one just the contacts 😬😖
Questions: For my office address, there is no reception number for local office so I am leaving it black and my manager is in another country. So leaving the phone number blank ok? For the home address for past 2 year do I need to mention the current address, as they ask how long you lived there, there is no end period and I can’t written current as the column is in date format I am filling the application by hand I noticed that for options I use tick mark ☑️ and it was going out of box, I am concerned does this form is read electronically as they did mention for the signature atleast write within the box as I already got the page signed by guarantee so wondering do I need to re-write the application again For how long I have known the references, do I round up the number of years I have known them for 3.6 years so do I just write 3 years? Thanks for your questions, 1- if it’s other telephone number then yuu don’t have to give any number, and your primary number is good enough. 2- no need of extension if after calling they can be connected to the concerned person. Again if it’s not primary number you can leave it blank. 3- for end period you can enter the date you sign the application and they would know. 4- it’s ok if it’s slightly out of the box. 5- yes you can round up to 3 years and it’s fine. 6- for license and health card, put the actual number and do not write the number with the barcode. What paper was that? The officer checks everything so he should have noticed if anything was wrong. But don’t worry they let you know and you can resubmit if there’s any issue.

Hi. So page 8, section O ( what must be included at the back) doesn’t say that guarantor need to put date. The photograph studio put the date when photo is taken.

@ameralsaghir6797 do the main address of your institute and the degree/certifcate name- in my case- I put MASc Electrical Engineering and as I continued PhD so I wrote PhD in Electrical Engineering as well. Also due occupation you need to only mentioned the title of your job in the field of employment/studies. I hope it clarifies the question. Thanks 😊
Hi, if you go to the page 6 of the application, it states that guarantor has to sign one photo and application and some other requirements, guarantor doesn’t have to be in Canada but they have to sign the application and other docs required and everything should be written by pen by the guarantor. So, you have to send it to guarantor for signatures.

But, the page 6 clearly states that first you sign the application and then guarantor sign it and your picture (and/or any other docs required to be signed). Unfortunately, you have to send physically and then guarantor sign it. That’s my understanding of it. I hope it will help.

Hi inder. You can have any person with Canadian passport willing to become your guarator…. If you can't find a guarantor, you must provide 2 references and complete a statutory declaration in lieu of guarantor. You must sign this form in the presence of a person authorized by law to administer oaths and declarations, for example, a: commissioner for oaths or affidavits like notary public.
I have one more query, Under "additional personal information in section 7, how to enter the ongoing job occupation. There is a blue color box there, with the title "ongoing occupation " but nothing happens even after clicking on it several times.
Hi mohit. I didn’t touch that while filling my application and just entered the dates ( for on going job) just enter the date you are filling the application if it doesn’t allow you to enter “to date”- I attached extra sheet by clicking on the link given as my occupations couldn’t fit in the boxes given.

Yes. Any one from family or household can be a guarantor. By definition household means living in the same unit. So the condition doesn’t say a family member shouldn’t be in the same household ( which makes sense as family mostly lives together in a house). In short, in my opinion, you don’t have to worry about it and go ahead with your application 😀

@ameralsaghir6797 I don’t think so as it says guarantor needs to be a Canadian citizen and know you for 2 years. Nowhere it says he has to be citizen for 2 years and know you for 2 years or more. So In my opinion, you will be fine
Hi. I am not sure but in my opinion, It’s asking for Parent’s surname at birth. So it shouldn’t be mother’s name necessarily. So you can write the name you wrote at the time of PR application. I think it’s not asking for name at passport but at birth.

Hi, yes you can fill it by hand and for guarantor you need their signature and written statement by hand ( by the guarantor). It doesn’t matter where guarantor lives in Canada as long as he/she signed it for you. Hi. What’s your adobe version? Mac users: the new version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (DC) may cause some issues. Download an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (11.0.10). I used Mac and never got this issue. You need to download another form and refill the application I guess.

Hi. So it looks like you need to enter your previous passport details and also tick the yes box so you get it back later. ( if it was reported stolen or haven’t expired ( you need to fill extra form attached in section 3 and then authorities will destroy it otherwise you will get it back).

Hi. No that’s not allowed. Only the signature and some parts ( mentioned in application form) related to guarantor are required to be written after printing out the application. Everything else should be typed. Thanks

Guarantor needs to hold the passport ( 5 years or 10 years is just the duration for which the passport is being issued and you renew passport after that ). Even if a person became citizen a month ago and holds the passport, he/she can be your guarantor.
It will be mentioned on your citizenship certificate ( you get it after your citizenship ceremony ( online or by post). Then you write that number in your passport application.

You just go to the nearest ServiceCanada centre that does passport services with your application form and documents ready. Fee is paid there after your info is processed.

@@gingercat_films hi. Thanks for the compliments. I believe you can’t leave Canada immediately after the ceremony if you don’t have the Canadian passport. You destroy your PR card during the ceremony so you can’t enter back in Canada without passport ( as you need a proof that you are Canadian resident or citizen). Citizenship certificate doesn’t count as travel document. Moreover, you can’t apply for passport without citizenship certificate and you need to apply in person in my opinion for passport ( I am not sure if in your case you can apply for passport outside Canada as this is your first time ever to apply for passport). Hi! Thanks for the question. So it’s ok if you don’t mention the Indian address as you were just visiting and came back ( before 6 months) and your permanent address was Canadian address. On the other hand, it won’t cause any harm if you mention it in application. They don’t scrutinize much but please mention all your Canadian addresses and it will be fine.

The guarantor doesn’t have to be in the same country as you but he/she should sign, write number of years they know you and date it with black or blue pen ( no digital signatures) also they need to sign and write “ it’s true copy…… ( for exact sentence please check the guarantor section I). Hi, if you go to the page 6 of the application, it states that guarantor has to sign one photo and application and some other requirements, guarantor doesn’t have to be in Canada but they have to sign the application and other docs required and everything should be written by pen by the guarantor. So, you have to send it to guarantor for signatures.

But, the page 6 clearly states that first you sign the application and then guarantor sign it and your picture (and/or any other docs required to be signed). Unfortunately, you have to send physically and then guarantor sign it. That’s my understanding of it. I hope it will help.
Guarantor has to have a Canadian passport that is currently valid or expired for less than 1 year

I have one more query, Under "additional personal information in section 7, how to enter the ongoing job occupation. There is a blue color box there, with the title "ongoing occupation " but nothing happens even after clicking on it several times.

I didn’t touch that while filling my application and just entered the dates ( for on going job) just enter the date you are filling the application if it doesn’t allow you to enter “to date”- I attached extra sheet by clicking on the link given as my occupations couldn’t fit in the boxes given.

Yes. Any one from family or household can be a guarantor. By definition household means living in the same unit. So the condition doesn’t say a family member shouldn’t be in the same household ( which makes sense as family mostly lives together in a house). In short, in my opinion, you don’t have to worry about it and go ahead with your application 😀

Hi. I am not sure but in my opinion, It’s asking for Parent’s surname at birth. So it shouldn’t be mother’s name necessarily. So you can write the name you wrote at the time of PR application. I think it’s not asking for name at passport but at birth.

Hi, yes you can fill it by hand and for guarantor you need their signature and written statement by hand ( by the guarantor). It doesn’t matter where guarantor lives in Canada as long as he/she signed it for you. It’s good if you can arrange a friend or any colleague in Montreal to have it signed for, otherwise you have to submit a form and have it notary public.

Hi. What’s your adobe version? Mac users: the new version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (DC) may cause some issues.
Download an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (11.0.10).
I used Mac and never got this issue. You need to download another form and refill the application I guess.

Hi. So it looks like you need to enter your previous passport details and also tick the yes box so you get it back later. ( if it was reported stolen or haven’t expired ( you need to fill extra form attached in section 3 and then authorities will destroy it otherwise you will get it back).
Also passport you are mentions u have as a kid is Canadian passport? If its not Canadian passport this part doesn’t apply to you.

Hi can you please clarify the guarantor has to be 5 year or 10 year passport holder or does that requirements means that guarantor passport with 5 year or 10 expiry
Guarantor needs to hold the passport ( 5 years or 10 years is just the duration for which the passport is being issued and you renew passport after that ). Even if a person became citizen a month ago and holds the passport, he/she can be your guarantor.

From where should I get tge certificate number?
It will be mentioned on your citizenship certificate ( you get it after your citizenship ceremony ( online or by post). Then you write that number in your passport application.

Hi. As per my knowledge, you don’t have to book an appointment. It’s first come first serve basis.
You just go to the nearest ServiceCanada centre that does passport services with your application form and documents ready. Fee is paid there after your info is processed.

@@gingercat_films hi. Thanks for the compliments. I believe you can’t leave Canada immediately after the ceremony if you don’t have the Canadian passport. You destroy your PR card during the ceremony so you can’t enter back in Canada without passport ( as you need a proof that you are Canadian resident or citizen). Citizenship certificate doesn’t count as travel document. Moreover, you can’t apply for passport without citizenship certificate and you need to apply in person in my opinion for passport ( I am not sure if in your case you can apply for passport outside Canada as this is your first time ever to apply for passport). Hi. So if guy can’t put the full name, try to put the part, it is easily recognized with… it won’t be an issue but try to attach some explanation form with it ( and explain it to the officer when you submit your application) if they need full name they will tell you how to do it

Hi! Thanks for the question. So it’s ok if you don’t mention the Indian address as you were just visiting and came back ( before 6 months) and your permanent address was Canadian address. On the other hand, it won’t cause any harm if you mention it in application. They don’t scrutinize much but please mention all your Canadian addresses and it will be fine.

The guarantor doesn’t have to be in the same country as you but he/she should sign, write number of years they know you and date it with black or blue pen ( no digital signatures) also they need to sign and write “ it’s true copy…… ( for exact sentence please check the guarantor section I). I hope it will help.
And guarantor should be accessible to authorities over phone or whatever medium they mentioned.

Hi. Thanks for liking the video. You pay at the reception/office ( in person) when they call you to apply and check your documents. You don’t have to write by hand anything on form except your signature and your guarantor signatures and other statement by guarantor if mentioned in the application.
