i dont have a house number or street name on my passport but i have a tehsil and post office information on my passport now what should i fill on that column.because it will ask for that .moreover there is no coumn to fill that information of po or tehsil part
Hello, If you don't have a specific house number or street address, I guess you can consider entering the details of the tehsil or post office in the available address fields, similar to your existing Indian address. You can also confirm this with the passport office once.
Hi, I noticed an option in the checklist that states, ALIAS/AKA cannot be a part of the name on the passport. I am not making any changes to my name. Should I check the Verified by Applicant section for this, or should I leave it as it is?
I hope you can leave it as it is since there is no change. This was the same case for me. When you print the form, the value of those fields should be displayed as N.

Hello, it took 2-3 weeks for me and 4 weeks for my friend. It's supposed to be complete in 3 weeks usually if there are no concerns in the application.
My passport is going to expire in Jan 21st 2028. Can i renew my passport now? it shows an option called "validy expired within 3 years/Due to expire". ( You have said its 1 year before/6 months) So that, I could get 3 years of work permit instead of 2 as my current passport does not have that much of validy left. ( My course is ending August 2025). Thanks
Even if it says "validity expired within 3 years", I believe you can only renew your passport up to one year before its expiry date. But please check with the authority first. Good luck!
Hi. Sorry I applied for my passport renewal here from canada. Yesterday , I received email from BLS that police verification has been sent to my local police station in India. Do I need to call or contact the police station regarding my verification or they will do by themself?
You don't need to do anything from here. Someone from the local police station will visit your Indian address. Once its clear, the process will finish in a very few days. I received my passport in just 2 days after the police clearance.

Hello, I gave Indian address as printable as my current Canadian address is not permanent but I believe it's your choice what needs to be given for the printable address. If you are giving a Canadian address as printable then you need to give the Indian address in the other address. Hope this helps.

Hello, how long did you submit your application? It can take up to 3 weeks in a normal situation.
How did you get an appointment date? I am not able to find any appointment date.
