  • you can buy them in Madagascar for $2880 then rent them out to a driver for $9 a day you will have you're full investment back in 12 months then an income of $250 a month for the rest of the time you own the Tuk-Tuk
    It's possible to make a nice passive income business in Madagascar 🇲🇬 with a few of them.

    Thanks for your video, I am looking to build a business around Tuk Tuk renting too so your video is very helpful, I will do a little bit different tough, I will use the electric one, my plan is to buy a few to rent in the city of Morondava first just to try, my dream will be to have many of them and maybe Nosy be is my next destination. I am in China now sourcing some materials

      That's a very nice plan 👍 just make sure the electric one's have an availability of parts in mada the price is similar to the petrol ones, the kms range per day is enough to keep the drivers happy and there is permits avaliable in morondava.
      Check how long it will take you to get a return on your investment at a rent of 35,000ar a day would be my pest start of tips.
      I understand it's good to go electric But sometimes you're better off just following the crowd and making money that way and just buying a few petrol Bajad RE

      @@passivenomads Thanks for your reply ans advices, I really appreciate you take the time to read and reply all the comments, about the electric Tuk Tuk, I am not too worried about the availability of parts in Madagascar because they are almost none to be found, I am importing them from China, I have lived in China from 2012 so I know about importing the parts from China and I also have a consumer electronic Shop in Analakely just next to the place you start your most popular video " Antananarivo Madagascar walkabout in the market area" or across the road from your favorite restaurant Artist Restaurant, I am importing goods from China for almost every two weeks so I am not worries about parts. I have a big dream about this project so maybe I will see you when I am extending it to Nosy Be

    That is very cheap. In Kenya a bajaj is 4000 usd and brings the owner 8 usd daily. So it pays itself after a year and a half

    Do you need a residence permit to register the tuktuk?🤔

    • @passivenomads
      @passivenomads  Год назад +1

      Realistically yes However you can simply just do a paper with the local president in the village and drive it.
      You can also buy one on a tourist visa but you will only get a registration for 3 months
      It's easy to get around the red tape in nosy be

      @@passivenomads Yes many things are possible with red tape in Madagascar..

    If you bought a few and hired someone. How would you make profit by hiring someone to drive?
    I figure if you put a gps on it. Youll know where its been everyday. Im thinking of doing this in the philippines. Do you need a special license to taxi people?

    • @passivenomads
      @passivenomads  Год назад

      In Madagascar the drivers pay a daily rent the driver can buy the taxi licence and drive on a motorbike licence

    Its not really passive though, since you have to maintain them and deal with the drivers. Unless you pay somebody to take care of the whole thing

    • @passivenomads
      @passivenomads  Год назад

      Yes it's not 100% passive but if you find a driver that can also maintain it its as close to passive as you can get, dew to price increases its more like a 16 month ROI in 2023
