I've been studying English for 13 years now and I didn't meet a teacher who can explain Writing in such a useful and simple way. The majority explain like: "Please think about intro, paragraphs and conclusion before writing" But they do not teach how. Thank you for this video
I followed this video in order to prepare for FCE in 2019 and I got grade A with maximum score in the Writing paper. Here I am, three days before my CAE, back to the same video. Thank you Paul, I could never forget you 🧡
I am so glad I've found this video 3 months before my exam! now I will start to do 2 essays per week as you suggest! I hope to improve enough to pass the exam !!! thanks a lot for your videos you are an amazing teacher, you have really motivated me to write!! This is like the military FCE/CAE camp training hahaha!!!
The part where you change your rough essay into a "sexy English" essay is very useful. I'm sure it would help many people if you made more videos, showing you writing and thinking about an essay or another assigment.
Hello Paul, Very interesting and informative. Great I was just wondering if there would be in near future any videoclips to show how to write a review or a report for the section CAE writing to see the differences and the structures and how to proceed before starting to write. Best regards Christos
omg i didn't mean that in a bad way. anticipation is the greater part of pleasure))) Just wanted to say how much i appreciate the time and work you put into these classes!
Oh man! I kinda felt the guy's attitude was a little arrogant, but wow! he is so good at this, I really got inspired and fired up to get started writing! Thank you so much Paul! You are awesome!
hello paul i want to ask you a question, the fce exam is same for all the students because im in middle school and my teachers havent tell me how the exam is going to be, all that i have learned is thanks you, i hope i will pass it it is in 2 days
Hi,there!. I took the exam in October and I passed it. However, I failed the writing part, I got 157 points only 3 points behind the mark required. I found your video really helpful. Two questions came to mind. Do you suggest making a previous draft?. As i would like to take the CAE, you know that you are given three subtopics of which you to pick two to write your essay. One of those subtopics you picked is said to be picked as the most relevant for you. Is it true. I would much obliged to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
Jeremy Hans Patrick basically 25% But if you fail it, you fail the exam unless you score pretty much top marks in the other parts, which rarely happens.
Alexdez :v good luck. Stay calm, focus, pay attention to the time. Im the reading and use of english, transfer your answers after each part. When doing the reading, do them backwards: part 7, 6 then 5 because part 6 & 7 are easy to mess up but require more effort than part 5
I'll come wherever you are and lick every single part of your feet if I get over than 180 at the CAE exam I have in a few weeks. Although I'll have to practice a lot for the essays because unfortunately here in Italy we don't do them as it ought to be done
I don't know why i've decided to watch this video approximately 8 hours before the exam...
Давид Меликов i'm doing the same right now :v
I've passed! It works
You're not alone... My exam is in 16 hours.
Mine too!!
Lol mine is like 4 and a half hour 🤣
This video is by far the most useful and absolutely precious helping tool which i have ever seen. thank you ever so much, Paul!

Now I’m confused. Is it report writing or essay writing? Coz if you write report style writing on your essay, will be marked down,,,,,,,
You misspelled "Competitive".

so I should write 30 essays in the next two days, it came to me a bit late
top noch teaching
but what happens if my teacher put the input such an article or a piece of new and then put two questions and then I have to make an essay?
Javiera Arias I'm not quite sure what you mean.
If i understand you correctly, such a thing won't happen at FCE or CAE
Know your essay, structure, do/don't
Key words in question, brainstorm ideas
Rough essay
This video was very helpfull, but there is one problem Paul. I can't like the video, like you suggested, because you have disabled the ratings :)
berbafan67 thanks for telling me. I'll turn them on)
You misspelled it is widely known
THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT HOW TO WRITE ESAY OR REPORT ? TELL ME PLZZ :v
How much of an influence does the writing part have for your final mark?
Jeremy Hans Patrick basically 25% But if you fail it, you fail the exam unless you score pretty much top marks in the other parts, which rarely happens.
Excellent advice, sexy English !
i'm watching this 8 hours before my exam and i'm soooo going to fail
Does anybody preparing by themselves??
Many do. Results are generally better if prepared by a professional.
Im doing the exam in 10 hours :v
Alexdez :v good luck. Stay calm, focus, pay attention to the time. Im the reading and use of english, transfer your answers after each part. When doing the reading, do them backwards: part 7, 6 then 5 because part 6 & 7 are easy to mess up but require more effort than part 5
Why are there no likes to the video?!?
Paul, you are awesome! I always tell my adult students that GRAMMAR IS SEXYYYYYYYY
As disgusting as it sounds, I can’t wait to hopefully kiss your feet Paul!! 😂
