I agree. I think we also need a lot more path types and designs. Also a lot of decorations that can be placed on any surface etc. Hope they bring a lot of planet zoom mechanics into jurassic world evolution 3 like you have just said. And let's not forget that planet zoo is now on consoles, so if they bring planet zoo to consoles with all the building mechanics that were present on the pc version, then they can do it for consoles.
To add to that, I believe that the next jurassic world evolution game should be next generation only. Xbox Series S/X and PS5.
Definitely! I think they will use the foliage / decoration and path systems from planet zoo and a more simplified building system to keep it more in line with the games easier / casual appeal.
One of the few downsides to planet zoo is the over complexity at times.
But JWE3 would benefit hugely from its amazing foliage and decoration systems.
But yea definitely needs to be next gen consoles only.
PS4 and X-box consoles have held JWE2 back and the consoles are over 10 years old now (11 years by the time JWE3 releases)

Jwe3 should be the game where we get dinosaurs breeding, dynamic building, better hunting and interactions and just what jwe2 should’ve been, kinda hope this dlc isn’t the last one, I doubt the teaser will come out this week tbh

And having underground tunnel systems that you can explore and have the option to take control of guests and staff with a bit of survival into it

Frontier should consider doing what Creative Assembly did with the Warhammer games: if you have the DLC from the previous games, then they unlock for the next game, while also making them available for purchase for newcomers who haven't got the first two. This frees them up from design/rigging time, & lets them focus on other things rather than reworking stuff we already have. I'd also have it that if you owned the 1st 2 games, that unlocks the maps from those games in JWE3.
Let's face it, we're *never* going to run out of cool dinosaurs & prehistoric creatures that would sell for DLC, so doing the hybrid DLC again would really stick in the craw for me (much less having base game dinosaurs from JWE/JWE2 as DLC).
I do wish they at least announced the last DLC before it though...

There is a lot of room for a new game to improve upon. However, I'm skeptical whether Frontier can follow through on a lot of those aspects.
Especially after a lot of things were not fixed between JWE1 and 2 like the terrain issues for tools (grids, options for cliffs), options (cliffs, waterfalls, deeper water) and placement detection (oh sorry you cannot place that here because the building beside it made a slight hill or the edge of the map insists on having a slope)

@@bill4665If the game has most of things the community has been asking for and is future proof (no need for a 4th game in my opinion) than I spending 40 to 80 bucks is worth it.
My opinion is that: Good for youtubers and content creators and super invested players , bad for casual players.
As someone who hasn't bought any of the DLC for jwe 2 because I was waiting for more significant changes for the base game. I won't say I'm looking forward to this sequel

Im also keeping my position, i gotta say that i quite regret buying some of the dlcs beacuse it was quite of a waster of money, so lets see what the sequel adds that should had been added as an update to the sequel
If they're gonna release it, here are why I think so:
- New game engine (new-gen and PC only)
- Enhanced customisation and terrain controls. (They've just got Planet Zoo onto old-gen and new-gen consoles, so they probably intend on bringing that level of customisation and terrain to the next JWE. Would also make sense bcs enhance terrarin controls such as Cliffs, water falls, etc have always been large requests.
- Baby species. Planet Zoo is released on console and has a breeding/baby animal feature. Its been so highly requested and anticipated that I imagine they want to bring it to JWE as well.
All in all, as long as those 3 things are in the 3rd game. I will be able to justify spending EVEN MORE money on this game franchise!
Don’t get your hopes up , we ve been asking for ages to get an aquatic DLC for planet coaster like the soaked DLC for Rollercoaster tycoon , and we didn’t get it no matter how hard the community pressed them on it yet implemented it into planet zoo … so baby dinos is not a guarantee to be showing up in JWE 3 just because planet zoo has it …

Planet Zoo was designed for PC and adapted to Console.
I'm suggesting they'll make a new-gen only and PC game. As they have much less restrictions. It would mean they can use a new game engine and add those features. They might not, but there is LITERALLY nothing else they can really add by making a 3rd game if they dont use a new engine...

Don't expect to get planet zoo level customisation - it's a design decision to make the game more approachable to casuals, not a performance decision.
I do really hope we get cliffs though!

Haven’t been here in a while Evo (life is not so great right now) but I clicked so fast on this. Honestly, I don’t really see why we need a sequel, at least right now. The game is still getting updates and there’s dlc coming later this month. Love your videos Evo! Have a nice day
Oh man I am so excited. I like JWE2 but like you, my biggest problems are things I feel would never be fixed in DLC or expansions. So a sequel is exactly what I feel could help it out for me.

Walking Pterosaurs, baby dinosaurs, better preview skin color system. Basic stuff is all I can think of until we know what the heck is in this movie. More dinosaurs isn’t really what I want. If we only had 30 dinosaurs with loads of animations and interactions that would be what I want.
To me those should have been no brainers for JWE2 along with better terrain tools and management and better collision/placement detection.
JWE2 just seemed like an expansion just with more micromanagement
JWE3 better have waaaay better hitboxes/ no Hitboxes, a better Terraforming System and the river Tour.

I‘ll sit this one out and wait to see if it will be significantly different compared to JWE2. If for example the AI, guest behavior and building is the same as in JWE2 I don’t really consider it (for myself) worth it.

Very excited! Looking forward to the new game... but even more so for your new JWE3 content!!!
Well JWE2 to me was something of an expansion on that which had come before, including refinements in species sizes, new biomes, additional behaviours, the multiple era building sets and so on. It also served as an introduction to new mechanics, including aviary and lagoon construction as well as a decent start in utilising decorations for detailing purposes.
JWE3 should be the culmination of all that Frontier has learned in creating both games.
I'm hoping for the following:
- refined behaviours across all of the species.
- all DLC species included with no re-releases like they did with the hybrids.
- new attractions and more decorations to go with the ones we already have.
- diverse biome selection whilst still maintaining a couple of maps within Isla Nublar/Sorna.
- new aesthetic options for buildings to give more variety in park appearances
I'd like to see Chaos Theory mode again with other what if scenarios. For example, following through on Lockwoods plan for Sanctuary (it was kind of done with Claire's Sanctuary but that plot felt independent of the film).
I'm curious to see how this plays out in the coming months. Now if you will excuse me, Imma go watch the fandom lose its marbles on Reddit
I'm very excited about a potential JWE 3, but I think they should make the building system similar to Planet Zoo or Prehistoric Kingdom, and in the base game the has to be EVERYTHING from JWE 2, it'd be a shame if even in JWE 3 you have to buy DLCs just to get what you already had/saw in the precedent game
I hope there's no locked content (i.e. Huayangosaurus and the hybrids) in the sequel either.

While i don't think a third JWE game was needed, this does give Frontier a chance to fix some major flaws from both the first and second game, along with adding a bunch of new content. JWE2 (as far as i know) wasn't nearly as succesfull as the first game due to the pushed back release of JW Dominion, so i hope that this new installment, whenever it releases, will be more succesfull. I also hope that there's more new features as to not just make it a newer version of the first or second JWE games. ALSO FRONTIER, PLEASE OPTIMIZE THE GAME BETTER.

honestly, i dont think that we need a 3rd jurassic world evolution, i think that frontier should just keep adding dlc's, the game is as good as it gets, im personally quite sad, yet a little bit excited about this announcement.

I wonder if Planet Zoo 2 and Planet Coaster 2 are also on the horizon. I just started playing Planet Zoo on console and while it takes some getting used to it is absolutely fantastic. The in-depth elements I wasn't able to get from Jurassic World Evo2 are all here in this game and I love it, and the thought of this game potentially coming to an end soon really broke my heart. If there is a sequel in the works, I'm all there for it. Obviously I'm all in for the JWEvo3 game as well ;D

There's 3 things I want
1 all current dlc dinos is now base game or at the very least 1 massive pack (we are at like 130ish creatures I doubt all will be base game at launch)
2 the ability to make Hybrids JWCC style
3 Cenizoic Era creature
I'm really hyped. One of my two most wanted wishes would be more building freedom (like in planet zoo) and hopefully more options for building laggons (different aquatic plants, sizes, forms, dephts, maybe also interacting with normal enclosures as lake,...). Maybe also things like the spinosaur being able to swim. But really happy they're making a third game. Wouldn't have thought that

I am brand new to this game series and have been wanting to dip my toe in for a while. I REALLY REALLY hope they add more content for prior eras. Especially '93. It would be amazing if some of those amazing mods were made official like the jungle cruise and other buildings and decorations as well. Also, give us that T-Rex Kingdom from JW!

Now I know why I get the feeling that Frontier is not giving their best effort at JWE2. Because JWE2 is their middle child
I'm super geeked fpr this announcement...... I've been rocking with JWE since the beginning.....and I didn't think we'd get a 3rd installment of the game..... I hope we finally get the jungle river cruise and other amazing things that JWE2, although great fell short of. I've always wanted an element of a massive stampede like we see in JP 1(gallimimus herd), JP2 (when ingen captures dinos in the herd, JP3 when Alan and the Kirby's stumble into the Parasauroluphus & Corythosaursus herd). It's all there!!!
I was in the middle of watching another video when I saw your name pop up and switched over so fast. Maybe just maybe in jwe3 will get rid of the dredded terrain constraints and we can stack buildings and decorations without mods.

Incredibly excited for this news!! I'm sure there will be several improvements but the one I'm really hoping for is a breeding and ontogeny system. Frontier already knows how to do it after Planet Zoo and I imagine it could be a big selling point for JWE3!
The last dlc will probably be a "fan favorites" pack with megalodon, Smilodon, and 2 other highly requested creatures

Universal are in talks over building a Universal Park here in Bedfordshire, they have had.overwhelming support from Bedfordians, we are really excited for this going forward. So I am genuinely happy with all the Universal jurassic news recently 😀

Just hope that, if it's indeed JWE3, the transition will be as smooth as between E1 and E2. Meaning that the base game will have at least all the dinosaurs from E2 and it's dlc, adding new ones and then focusing more on gameplay evolutions and changes.
I always fear with this type of games that the devs suddenly take the greedy route, remove content and make the same DLC again (that's why I haven't paid the hybrid pack, while I buyed all the others DLC day one ...)
But as I said, E1 to 2 transition was quite nice and the opposite of that fear so, still have good hopes they can do it again ! 😊
Ive played a metric ton of JWE 1 but ive had some trouble enjoying the gameplay for 2. I hope they can make a more robust single player and tighten up the gameplay a bit.
I'm beyond excited to have this jwe3 announcement, absolutely stoked to see what they'll come up with! I'm so happy we're getting a sequel honestly, i cant wait to get to work on the new park builds and maps!

I'm excited to see what new things they'll add. I hope they'll make an inbuilt intended version of the monorail glitch.
There are many things I want to see in JWE 3, but these are a must for me to get to the next game.
- Novel Carnotaur would be dope.
- First, all current creatures in the game should be there in the base game. And also amphibians and mammals.
- I would like to see more gore and blood in the game.
- hybrids. not a lot of them, but some of the recognizable hybrids, like the Ultimasaurus Rex, Carnoraptor, Stegoceratops, Cerazinosaurus, Chromaspinus and more.
Note: I know not everyone likes hybrids, but I really enjoy them, so I want to see more of them.
- Water depth and semiaquatic behaviors/swimming for all dinos.
- Lagoon improvements like better collisions and interactions, the ability to change the depth of the sea floor, more aquatic creatures, the ability to connect lagoons with the land, and lastly, land and aquatic interactions.
- More interaction between park goers and the creatures, like interaction between non-dangerous dinosaurs interacting with the guests, and more than 1 kill animation (not just with the parkgoers but also with other creatures), because right now once you've seen the kill animation, you've seen it all.
- Difference between the creatures, like height and body build. Some are bulky, some are fat, and some are skinny.
- Better terrain tools and remove terrain constraints.

That's cool because I kinda stopped paying attention to JWE after the RTJP expansion, and bought 2 right before the CC pack, so I missed alot of the hype.

Ever since Jurassic World Evolution 1 I've always wanted like an actual full on big Isla Nublar map like the whole thing, I don't really know if it'd be really possible, but hey i can dream lol.
There’s lots of improvements I’d love to see so I’m excited. As someone who likes to have the management stuff active I really hope they loosen up the formula to keep guests and Dino’s happy so you’re not so restricted by the formula. Also, obviously, bring on the attractions!
I hope JWE3 will finally add evolution to the game! xD. It would be so cool to see dinosaurs adapt and evolve in variation to their ecosystem so they can finally “find a way” to survive and not constantly be eaten by a T-Rex (I’m looking at you Pachys)
I also would love to see more natural and varied dinosaur behavior, the dinosaurs in JWE2 still seem mechanic, predictable, and individually uncharacteristic in their behavior. I would love for dinosaurs to have their own personalities, which could also factor in to determining how they survive in an ecosystem. I have a lot of ideas! 😅

I’d like lagoons to be more in depth😉, remodels of some of the worse off dinosaurs(Megalo, archeo, etc) and more elaborate terrain tools. Also, less restrictive borders for decos, buildings and such
Well that certainly adjusts some of my predictions. If there's going to be any content tied to the Chaos Theory show, I think it'll be in JWE3.

It’s cool another game is going to be in development, there is one thing to me that is a big question: what is going to be the pitch for everyone to get the game? Would it be Cenozoic/aquatic/flying reptiles w/more customization, actual zoo style layouts etc. At least with the current game you could sell it on with Chaos Theory mode.
I enjoyed this alot of the aspects of two and aspects of one maybe we can get a "hybrid" of the two with a decent campaign like we had with one and the nice things of chaos theory and THE BIG SQUARE of sandbox mode.
