As a raft pilot i heartily support this vid, thanks for the love man. Protip raft was best in the past to run safe cargo in cause it couldnt be pirated. Anyway SPEEEESH TRUKKIN! thanks for the love man.
I did enjoy my time with the RAFT much more than I had anticipated. I still prefer the C2, but that's mainly cuz I don't min/max for profit, just a quick trip here or there to turn a profit.
I completely forgot about the RAFT as well. Thx for the reminder! I think I’ll buy one later today. With the currently awesome/unbalanced state of Risky Salvage Mission cargo, all of my cargo ships are currently full of stuff that isn’t mine and “I don’t know how it got there officer!”. Lots of stuff with weird names, like “Neon”, and “E’tam”. Probably candy for rich people, or something… It can only be sold at a “No Questions Asked” terminal. I’ll reiterate: I have no idea what this cargo is, and anyone who reads this can testify to that fact!😂
Sounds perfectly reasonable. You were just out doing your part to clean up the Stanton system, and the strange markings on some of the "trash" items seemed completely innocent. I get it.
Thanks! It was a good test video too. I upgraded quite a bit of my hardware over the last month, and I'm really pleased with how the audio came out. Thanks for watching!
Can't take the cargo pods off and put other containers on though right? Would be a great if you could recover physical cargo from wrecks or from a larger hauler to transport.
So, I hopped in this morning, and can confirm that the cargo pods are still inaccessible. Attempted in zero-G and had no interactive popups. Hope that helps.
I can't lie, I haven't spent much stick time with it, but I really liked it. There's a guy I follow who is journaling his RAFT travels on FaceBook, and he inspired me to take a look. I'd take this over a Freelancer for cargo, any day.
Maybe, we'll see. I know there are a multitude of opinions about that, and I'm not educated enough in game development to adequately answer. I will say that I see where the market has gone over the last twenty years, and I'd rather a game be released complete, than the cycle that some developers use of releasing the game, overcharging for useless things or broken DLC, and never fixing core issues. Ark comes to mind. All I know is that I enjoy the game and look forward to where it's going.
I'm not rushing anything, tbh. There are things that I would like to see soon, but I don't understand programming enough to have a truly valid opinion.
Keep it up its some very nice reviews
Glad you like them!
It's not ugly! It's perfect!
I don't agree, personally. But, I can see the allure for others!
Also, it still looks better than the Starfarer!

anyone else see the face looking back at you above the cockpit
I haven't noticed, but I also strive not to look at the ship to much! Not what I would describe as aesthetic!
Great review. thanks
Thanks for watching!

You did no just call this beaty ugly nononono ;D. I love the industrial look.
I did, and I stand by it. I will say that I respect that ARGO sticks by their aesthetic. It's not as bad as the MOLE.
Nice video :)

Welcome back 🔥🫡

I haven't tried to. I'm getting some stick time tomorrow morning (Oct. 4th) so I'll letcha know.

@@eyesofheimdall6510 yeah, I do like the ship. Just not yet for me.
If you can’t retrieve your cargo then pirates can’t either haha
@@Kyle-ny8ct yeah, I just do too much scrounging around and not buying and selling so. Not ideal for my gameplay.
I read that 3.21 the Raft has visible cargo now
I haven't seen that, but I've also not been as up to date as usual the last couple of months. That does sound pretty awesome though!
Are there any details on when the next raft pledge opportunity will be?
I haven't been plugged into the news from CIG lately, so I can't honestly say. I'm sure it'll be around for IAE in November though.
looks like I am getting my RAFT back with a token

When is the game ready? 10 more years?

once they nail the replication layer and server meshing we should see 3x the progress into release
