There's an older band that is a hybrid of the two. know anyone that has reviewed it?
Not sure. Do you know what the hybrid is called?
@@GamerBody That's my problem. I can't find the name. it makes the research I'm doing to figure out which one I want hard because I prefer to see all three. I can tell you that it is made of latex has handles made into it. It's like the tube ones but it's square. I grew up with it. They still sell it. But it just says resistance band. It doesn't say which one while the others say tube or loop. It's just confusing. With so many different types of resistance bands, you would think they would have a name for it besides resistance band.
Yeah that is strange. I hope you are able to find it and if you do, let me know :)
Did the location of the article change?
After having used the tubes for a few years, I'd like to offer one tip:
Warm up the bands before using them!
Meaning, if you're keeping them in your cold garage or crawl space, then going right into exercises, they are much more likely to snap. I put mine under my carpet (added bonus of heated floors) for a minute or two. Or, you could leave them in a sun room, or under bedding for a few minutes. (I hope it goes without saying, but, don't put them in the oven or microwave)
I like both loop style and the tube style they both have their advantages and disadvantages but together you can do a lot
I have been personally using a combination of the loop style(w mini loops for some lower body stuff) and the cable style bands. I do work out primarily in my backyard with a metal post as an anchor point for loop bands. I like the combination. I agree that together you can do alot.
Nice. Does it rain or snow where you are or can you workout in your backyard year round?
@@GamerBody i'm in NYC(Brooklyn to be exact) in a Brownstone so when Winter comes, I'll have to come back inside to workout. Same for rainy days. I have a door attachment for the cable style bands(Sklz is the brand name).
Me too I love both of them.
I had SKLZ mini loop band set (9.5inch) and was on the fence on getting the fabric booty bands or latex, plus the tube bands with grips. Still chose the flat loop bands short and long, as I think I'll get more use out of them anchoring with my arms, feet, sofa/bed post, window grills, dumbbells, barbell etc. One can really go heavy, though wider, they'd pack a better punch than the tubes.
This is exactly what I needed!
Great video! I use both types as well. I wear gloves with the loop bands and it really helps eliminate hand discomfort.
I agree, especially with the loop bands. Keep up the good work!
Wow! This helps a lot. Very informative and educational..
Thaaaaaank you fir this vid!!! So helpful!!
I use the traditional bands and they are really good for a home work out during these times
Thank you for the informative video.
Great Review! Like your straightforward explanation.
Thanks!
thank you very much for your advice
Thank you so much! 🌸
Good review and very informative, I found it helpful thanks.
Thanks for watching.
I like to use the loop band with my barbell and the tube bands like dumbbells
Excellent vid. Thanks!
Thanks!
Fantastic review, thanks for posting.
Thanks! Make sure you check out my latest setup with bands :)
I would recommend when doing the shoulder press you have the bands/dumbbells slightly forward as opposed to behind
They are, might not see it in the angle, but my hands and elbows are slightly in front.
Hey thanks for this video, a lot of good information I use Resistance Bands but have always been interested in the loop this give good insight on both, really enjoyed this video!
I need to make an update to this video. Since I now have a resistance bar I use the loop bands :)
Just added loop bands to to my regular bands workout. I like them both for different reasons.
I really like tube bands perfect to use with weights and with a pullup/ gym rings.
Wow!!! Just perfect! Everyone seems to be pushing the loop bands and I'm like...."wouldn't that hurt your hands? Guess I better get gloves.....and wouldn't it be easier to anchor to a door and yet that's not the way the tutorials show them....." Then I see this video and I'm like "yes!" the voice of reason....Thank you!
Thanks! I actually just snapped my UnderSun resistance band (smallest one) yesterday in my workout...I just launched a quick video update on it to let everyone know.
Just ordered some new resistance bands not u powex bands but next best thing so thanks for the review. 👍
And i think that with the loop band you are not limited to at least 90% of all kind of work out. Versa the traditional bands. As of my experience i am saying that. happy work out guys
The best advice i found about this subject yet, thanks.
Thanks for checking it out :)
It was helpful but not much was said about the quality of resistance. From what I u derstand the loop bands have a better quality and go up to a higher resistance level, I've never used the other one but they do look more comfortable but that's ot much good if the resistance has limitations.
I've moved to loop bands now as I get more resistance and I also added a bar for many exercises. I'll be uploading an UnderSun 1 year review in a few days with some more details as well.
@@GamerBody Great, I'll keep my eyes open for it.
So buying extra attachments to overcome the cons said in the video,I think the portability factor is also gone because mostly i think loop bands do need accessories like bars and handles to perform a properly formed movement otherwise it's either going to hurt your wrists or fingers or even shoulders if you try standing chest press
thanks
Any thoughts on the kbands..... Think they are tube bands just longer.......
That is very informative for beginners, thank you! It seems to me loops might be an advantage when one does not want to involve the grip, which in some exercises can be the weak link.
I've actually fully moved over to loop bands with my current setup. Take a look at this video: ruclips.net/video/XEcd9yEgl_E/видео.html
I was using my metal clip tube resistence bands to substitute for a loop band to add resistence to my dumbbell glute workout. I was doing this just until I could buy a legit loop band. I finally bought some and though more comfortable, they were not nearly as effective. I like how versital the clip bands are and I just went back to using the make-shift method after spending all that money.
Interesting. How were you anchoring them in the setup?
@@GamerBody I just clip the two ends together of the same band and then wrap it around my theighs 2 or 3 times (however difficult I want it to be). It is ghetto and I am sure there are better ideas out there, but it gets the job done so it is good enough for me.
Nice, of it works keep doing it :)
As far as the resistance bands go, the biggest con for me is that a full set tends to be VERY expensive compared to the loops, as you stated in the video.
It's easy to attach a handle to a loop band, especially the Ignite handles. They have a 2 inch ring that can accommodate even the largest loop band. No problem with multiple bands either. That way you have have the advantages of each type.
Good call! Ill have to look into that as an option. Thanks! Have you had any trouble with the thicker bands and attaching a handle?
@@GamerBody Not at all, at least not with the handles I mentioned with the 2-inch rings. In fact I can attach several bands at once, even with thicker bands.
Thanks man
.. Good job 👌
Thanks!
Check out Bob and Brad loop bands. They come with handles, door anchor, etc…
I use my weight lifting gloves when I'm doing loop band arm days. When I'm doing leg days, I'm golden, though as a daily lifter, I do find that if I'm just using resistance or loop bands, I need to double up on the bands, or add a weight, which can make then obsolete, but for leg day, loop bands are my besties.
Agreed, I've built a new "x3 bar" that I use now with loop bands and love it! I will be making more videos on that and updates to it over time :)
@@GamerBody Hell yeah! Looking forward to it!
I also prefer the regular ones😊
Excellent!! Excellent !!!
Liked for the cute dog wanting to play!
Extremely rarely do I comment on videos but this is just too good. Currently I am researching resistance bands and in the back of my head I was wondering what is actually the difference in terms of usage of the resistance vs loop bands. Your video summarizes and explains the whole topic absolutely perfectly. A well-deserved like!
If I may be nit-picky the only thing I found irrelevant is the storage and amount of accessories that both come with - I think that's heavily personal opinion. What I mean by that is that I really can't see the issue with just putting back everything in the nice bag they come with. Could be something that builds over time and I am yet to experience it though :)
After having used tube bands for the past few years, I can attest that it is a bit of a pain clipping everything back together and stuffing it in a bag. Deal breaker? No, but still, I think worth mentioning.
Hi which brands do you recommend, what's diff b/w this high price Fitness Insanity Resistance Bands $70 and cheaper $20 besides max weight Renoj Resistance Bands? I feel they are from same source, different resellers
I like Upowex and whatafit. I just received the Black Mountain bands that I will be unboxing for a video later this week so that will be fun.
I'm not sure there is a difference as it might all be white label. But, saying that I can't guarantee it so I do like the brands above from my tests.
James Grage who uses the Undersun brand which he works for the company tells everyone to use gloves on the loop style. You are 100% Those UnderSun bands are expensive. You made a lot of good points on which ones to buy. You really helped me decide. I’m. 66 years old athletic. I think I’ll get the resistance bands for cheaper money. What did you do with the UnderSun loop bands you bought
Im selling the Undersun as the small one snapped on me. They will replace it, but I rarely use those as I use the Whatafit 99% of the time. I really only have the loop bands if I want to work on something specific.
Before I watched this I didn’t even put two together and think that much of a difference. After watching this I think I’m gonna get… both. Thanks for the video 👍🏾
Haha nice. This is a bit old now, but take a look at my resistance bands and bar setup as that is what I use now for my workouts.
@@GamerBody can you make a an updated video?
Yeah, I have some videos to release beforehand but I do plan on making another
Thanks for this video. Very helpful. What’s the length of your resistance bands? The ones that I’m looking at are 110cm and I wonder if that’s sufficient to do standing overhead presses. Thanks!
Which one band are you referring to?
Love resistance training with bands. Need a good rack system though otherwise untangling them is half the workout? Do you use the bag or store some other way?
I just keep them in a bag. Right now I've been going with the UnderSun resistance bands and they do have some rubber bands you can put around them.
I do find it very educational, like
Really affordable thanks
Lol @ the dog… “just throw the damn ball! Maybe he doesn’t see it…”
Thanks I am buying and sticking with the traditional bands. However I don't know which strength resistance to start from .
It will take some testing to see. Track your progress and aim to keep improving.
I have and use both. But i think i generally prefer tubes. When you need to choke down on them you can remove or ignore them the handles. Actually, grabbing the tubes is generally easier and more comfortable than the band because they've smaller and round to fit in my fisted grip. Plus on pulling movements its good to just wrap the tube around your hand. But when i can use the handles, i do. Very comfortable. I then can change where i step on them or move away from the anchor.
Sine this video, I have moved 100% over to loop bands and I think they are far superior. This video is a bit old and was before I spent years with the loop bands.
I like both but started using the loop band's after I injured a shoulder lifting weights I started buying the Gofit loop band's you can buy the same parts they also have the tube band's,But I like the loop bands because they help me with my pull ups and dips
Yeah, I actually only use loop bands now so I need to update this video as to why. Some of my more recent content shows only the loop bands in my workouts :)
One thing to note is that you can buy clips and handles for the loop bands making them easier on the hands.
Yes I use a bar now and is is excellent. I've moved away from the tube bands now.
Good video you didn't rabbit on too much kept to the point of what you were explaining I think its the tubes for me 🤔, or maybe both.
Since making this video I have changed over to the loop bands for my bar setup with the bands. I think I'll make an updated video on this.
Good reviews. Have you ever reviewed or looked into reviewing Bodylastics bands? Also, same question for a good bar for the loop bands, something like the X3/Tikaton bar to help stabilize the loops and alleviate pressure on the hands and wrist?
Could work with a bar for the loop bands. Doesn't the X3 product have its own? I think it is expensive if I remember correctly or I am thinking of the wrong product. I have not reviewed Bodylastics yet but I'll take a look for something I might try out in the future.
@@GamerBody Yeah, the X3 is expensive and comes with bands. I was able to get just the bar a year ago after emailing them, as I already had loop bands. The Tikaton is much more affordable.
I need your advice or what “you would do”, ive been looking at resistance bands lately on amazon, found exact ones but different company brands, found some cheap and stuff right? But I look into the comments and reviews of every each one and they complained about how it was broken and missing and other stuff... should I just risk it and buy it? It has good reviews though like 90% of it is four or five stars I guess, but it still has bad reviews, like the U Powex you put in the link.
So far I've had good luck. Amazon makes returns really easy. Also I use the Whatafit right now which are similar to my Upowex but cheaper and just as good . If you don't like it you can always return them so of say try it out.
Highly recommend purchasing Carabiner Clips used for Rock climbing with loop style bands if you have the handles
I use a bar with triangle clips and loop bands now :)
This guy is way underrated
I like loop bands. The handled ones are bulky and the carabiners get in the way. Thanks.
Yeah been testing more with loop bands lately to see how I can use them in programming or just exercises I think work well with them
@@GamerBody "programming"? Wdym by in programming?
Working programming, as in designing a workout program with them :)
where can i email you? i would like to ask some question :>
Assistand pullups are tge same with loop or standart bands
in function, but in setup and use they are different. I'd much rather do assistance work with a loop band.
Whatafit are the only ones available right now, so I got 2 pairs of those, totaling about $120 on amazon. Hope they're good.
Yeah so far so good. Very similar to the Upowex bands as of my testing.
I almost buy the loop bands, but after your video mi opinion has changed. Thanks!
I'm actually only using loop bands now with my bar setup. I'm launching a video this week on it so check it out ina couple days :)
@@GamerBody :0
I made a challenge video I'm doin for April launching tomorrow so make sure you see the setup there. Not an April fools joke ;)
I use loop bands. I haven't tried the traditional ones. I can get what I need from the loop style so I don't need the other kind. I would try them out given the opportunity though.
RIght now, I have moved to loop bands for my setup, especially with the bar I use. I will probably make an updated version of this video :)
The handle snapped on the tube bands in my first session. I need to know is it possible to carry on training sessions without using the handles if I dont own the hoop bands? Thanks
You should be able to old the band itself. Some exercises might feel awkward though. Also, supinated/pronated exercises might not be possible or hard to keep in position without the handle as well.
Hey quick question, can i build muscle using the resistance bands? Like will i get bigger muscles by using them? Thanks❤❤really loved the video
Depends where you are at but yes, as long as you continue to progress the resistance over time you will build muscle and get stronger. This is true with any resistance. Also make sure you recover properly.
@@GamerBody Thanks you!!❤❤
10:35 in video. When doing pushups and you don't want to touch chest to floor but still want a signal of depth, a standard, have a friend place a small ball under your chest. Go down until you touch your chest to ball. As in video at 10:35.
Eh, probably won't matter that much unless you have some type of shoulder injury. Either way, just make sure you train hard enough for the body to respond and build muscle at rest.
@@GamerBody It's a way of enforcing a depth standard besides touching the floor and many do start to slack off on depth as they get tired or try to cheat a test. In the military, sometimes a proctor puts their fist under the chest of the test taker or a flat hand. This has been done at times to enforce a depth standard, a repeatable standard. Having recently watched a bunch of people take fitness tests on RUclips I can certainly see why some have done this, enforced a standard. I also believe the newer push up test where you at the bottom of the move you stick arms out and then in and then repeat is in part so they don't have to lie on the ground looking at your depth or sticking their hand under you.
It's an option to use a ball like a tennis ball or racquet ball or a yoga brick or whatever
if you want a depth standard besides the floor either to keep others honest or yourself or importantly as a regression or progression in range of movement. If it doesn't bother a person to use the floor fine but the standard some use is literally a flat hand or a fist or a facsimile like I mentioned.
Some are training to a test and that test's standards.
Some might just want to be cautious in regards to their shoulders.
@@GamerBodyAlso, I was actually making a joke about the dog, your "friend" placing a ball under you for push ups.
That said, I actually do use a racquet ball, at least at this time. Research on stretch mediated hypertrophy does have me reconsidering that though. Reconsidering but it's all about tradeoffs especially if one does have some shoulder problems or is just cautious.
Can the loop bands be used as a substitute for speargun rubbers?
What? Lol
Which one is more durable ?
Depends on the brand. So far, I've only ever had the smallest loop band from UnderSun snap on me, but I think it was a defect as I replaced it and it has not snapped since.
can you make a playlist for all of your band workout videos one for equipment reviews and one for workouts.
Possibly. The main workout I do is over at gamerbody.com/training there is a bands version on it in the video.
@@GamerBody I am looking for the playlist so I can post it on a reddit resistance band forum.
When pressing a barbell it's held in front of your chin and you push straight up so I noticed that you are pressing with bands behind your arms. Wouldn't you mimic the barbell movement with the bands in front of your arms which would strengthen the front of your shoulders which are weaker? Or doing both might be good?
Its more of where the arms are traveling in motion. It would also be really hard to hold the band as a lot of strain is out on your thumbs if the bands are in font of your arms. I tend to slide my hands forward a bit but keep the bands behind, that way I can produce the post power in the press and keep the bands secure in the hands.
@@GamerBody I guess to really know would be to take a side shot of both movements. I've been using the power x and did it both ways siting in a chair and can feel the difference. I don't know about you but I don't feel comfortable with these because I don't know when one is going to break so I'm going to the bands and gloves. They seem to be stronger, so I'm getting a set to use. I haven't had the Xs that long and I can already see small cracks in the red one. Your post was very good.
I started working out with tube bands and found them to be very uncomfortable when you're doing hammer curls and exercises that require the same hand/palm position (the handle starts behaving awkwardly).
Loop bands might solve this issue, I found a set of 4 bands on Amazon for 30eu. They're from INTEY with decent reviews...we'll see.
Let me know how it goes. The loop bands hurt my hands a lot more. I used the UnderSun gloves which helped, but it was still far worse for me than the standard tube bands.
@@GamerBody I tested them out today. There's no competition, loop bands are leagues ahead for me (utility/resistance wise). Now I just need a pair gloves.
Nice I'm glad you enjoy them. I have the UnderSun gloves which are fine but I think any with some padding around the thumb and pinkie side palm should work well.
Your reviews have been a godsend for me! I've been doing okay during the quarantine but I'm at a point with my weight loss where I need resistance training and the workouts I was doing wasn't cutting it anymore. Thank you so much! Any plans on making workout videos with the resistance bands?
Wht did u decide to buy?
I'll be testing and making more videos on them. However I want to make sure it aligns with my values as a home workout enthusiast and not just hype like I see all over the place online.
Interesting video. By the end of it, I had only one question - Well, did you throw the damn ball, man?
Always. The dog always gets what she wants, eventually. She loves to play fetch.
Hi guys! At what length do the resistance levels occur? For example, how far do I need to pull the 15 lb band to actually feel 15 pounds? This is helpful if I want to increase the resistance from, say, 15 to 17 lbs but not 20 lbs, or to start at 10 lbs and not 15 lbs. In other words, I almost feel I should get a weight scale to "calibrate" distances so that I don't overwork a muscle. Thanks for answering!
Without an actual measuring device this won't be possible. Instead, focus on what you did before then grab or pre-stretch the band to where it was before to do the workouts. You might be getting a little too precise here and instead just focus on finding a resistance that is challenging each workout then maybe adding the lightest band and working your way up from there.
@@GamerBody Thanks. Very helpful!
Dont worry about weight, just go by what feels right, where u can get the right amount of reps etc
Can you tell me the uses of wide loop band and also how to use wide loop bands for chest exercises
I personally don't use them for chest exercises but you could. You need an anchor point and then do pushing movements similar to what you would do with a cable machine in a gym.
wrap band around hands, put over back of shoulders,do press up.
I like the idea and am tempted, but have one main question: due to the constant pulling exercises, when using the door wedge, do the bands not distort/weaken the wooden door frame/plasterboard walls in a typical modern property?
No
No they’re pretty durable!! 😁
@@Digitalhdwmn thanks. Been using them for months now and yes, very durable. Now using red ones and they're pretty easy now
And bands you can recommend for durabilty?? Ive gotten cheapies from walmart but theyve all snapped on me at some point lol
I use the UnderSun right now. I get a ton of comments on the on the Strength bands but I have not tried them yet.
I use both but recently the red band (handle band) snapped when I added them to a squat. The other 4 bands were fine. Disappointed since the red band was not being overstretched, nor was it damaged prior to exercise 😐
Which product snapped? That's scary as my UnderSun snapped on me, but no others so far.
@@GamerBody can't even remember the brand name. I had them for a year with no issue, I think I will pay a bit more for Bodylastics or Upowerx
This is my biggest fear. I've had Black Mountain resistance bands for many years and had one snap on me. It's scared me off using them since then
You should try the Clench fitness handles for the loop bands!
Thanks I am looking into them as well.
@@GamerBody I'm setting up a similar setup with resistance bands except I might try making my own platform
Loop bands are easier to carry and they have higher resistance. They also hold longer (they are thicker, a friends tube bands are very Thin and start get lighter colour at some stretch points)
For the Problem with the Hand just use a wooden stick and wrap the band on it or a wooden pullup ring and step on the Other End.
So you can do one arm rows, curls, shoulder press, raises.
Diong pushups with Bands does not feel bad on the Hands when the band is placed on your mid Hand and not on your thump.
For legs front squats feel the best
Yes adding additional items can help, but the comparison is strictly for what you receive without adding things like a wooden stick. For push-ups, I am putting the band across my palm, not my thumb, it is just as uncomfortable.
If it works for you, go for it. I personally prefer the option with the handles included. The loop bands are good for assistance work but for other exercises I'd go with the regular bands every time. Thanks for your thoughts!
Do resistance ropes decrease their resistance with time?
It is possible. Bands now hold the elasticity pretty well for a long time, but of course, it is still just latex bands in the end. Mine have lasted over a year and still feel strong even today (UnderSun loop bands).
No mention is made of the length of the band. Is a band suitable for a 5'0" person also suitable for a 6'4" person.
Yes and no. At 5'0" you can use them but you won't be able to stretch them as far for the same tension. You might have to add more bands. Someone at 6'4" should be fine but that is probably close to the max for some exercises.
new friend here-following your vlog
I don't think you mentioned one of the important good points of loop style bands: wrapping them around the waist or shoulders for tons of "locomotion" or whole-body acceleration type exercises: leaps, shuffles, crawls, lunges, etc. Exercises where the hands are not needed to hold on to the band.
That's because I don't do those exercises (except lunges). That gets into program specific training and I'm looking to make things as easy as possible for people to do who sit all day. If you want it for those reasons, go for it.
I need resistance bands that don’t snap with on hands fast knee pulls. Which bands do you recommend?
Right now I'm using UnderSun but I did have the smallest band snap on overhead tricep ext. I got it replaced recently so I'm seeing if it was just a manufacturer defect.
For general exercises I like them the most as my Wodfitters just get to big in size but are great for assistance work.
@@GamerBody replaced free under warranty?
Yeah they replaced it for free. I believe it is a 5 year warranty
Are there certain brands that are particularly good or are they all kinda the same?
For tube style, I like the Whatafit right now. For loop, I'm using the UnderSun. The loop Wodfitters bands work well for assistance but if you want workout loop bands I'd go UnderSun.
@@GamerBody Thank you, that’s really helpful!
you should check out Torrobands. they state the bands can hold up to 350lbs. total resistance; the most i’ve ever seen on the market and they seem very industrial grade and super sturdy.
Super late response here, but they are something I'm looking over. Some others have come up as well (Bodylastics being a top recommendation) so we will see if Torro makes it in there.
@@GamerBody they had a great build quality but i returned it due to the resistance not giving that strong pull that i was looking for. you’re better off using loop bands for a better resistance feel.
Yeah I'm using loop bands right now. The ones I have are UnderSun.
Good, detailed review. Wodfitters now sell metal handles for loop bands. Have you seen them and will you review them?
Thanks so much for those great video, I was originally going to go with the loop bands, I wanted something for traveling and they are easier to pack, however, with all the cons, and I don't really need assistance, so I'm gonna have to go with standard I feel, little more to pack but might be worth it-what's the total package weight of standard and total weight of loop package?
Thanks
The Whatafit and Upowex I own actually take up less space. They do have the attachments but I find they are better for travel and less right on my hands.
Whatafit tube bands: 2lbs 1oz
Wodfitters loop bands: 3lbs 7oz
Also the Wodfitters takes up more space. I hope that helps!
I just brought myself some resistance bands and I love them but I’m anxious that they might snap lol
Which did you buy? I've only had the lightest of bands snap on my (the x-small band) while doing overhead triceps extensions. I've never had any others though. I have had them whip me in the back though which was TERRIBLE so always make sure your anchor point is secure.
Can you explain please why did you switch from normal resistance bands to loop bands? Because the loop ones are more expensive and you need to buy attachments. Money is not my problem, I'm just asking if the loop ones are better because I can't decide which one to buy . Thank you in advance.
A lot more resistance from my experience with loop vs. tube bands. It isn't required, but better for my personal setup.
Sounds like it may be good to use gloves when doing lots of pressure with loop style bands
Yes, if you do have the bands looped through your palms make sure you wear gloves.
Have you used a vibration platform as a inclusive part of your workout
Nope.
@@GamerBody Maybe you could give that a go
It probably won't make the list. If there is any benefit it is going to be so small you won't even notice. Instead, keep reps controlled with time under load being constant, recruit as many muscle fibers as possible in a set, and allow for recovery.
I always feel like I get more resistance with the loops. The spaghetti style bands never feel like the give the resistance they should. And changing the resistance is easy with the loops since you just grab them shorter, a thing you can't do with the normal bands.
Yup, I only use the loop bands as of right now with my current setup.
I cut my bands and put handles on some of them they last so much longer then the tube types
You cut loop bands? What are you using as handles for them?
Is 20 minutes of exercise enough to build muscle?
It can be, but only if you have enough intensity and fatigue the muscles enough to create an adaptive response. From there, you need to provide the body protein to repair and build new muscle tissue at rest.
My Undersun bands came with a doorstop. The doors in my house are really old and beat up so I can not use them for that.
I'm glad they are adding it in (or mine was just not sent by mistake). Unfortunate your doors can't use it, but I hope you find additional use from them.
How long will these be durable for workout? Will it last for one year without being loose??
So far so good. I believe they will last more than a year. I'm still testing and using them each week (especially the Upowex bands) and they are working great.
@@GamerBody How old are your bands? 1 year or more than 1 year?
I bought them back in October, 2019 so not 1 year yet but getting there.
What I'm surprised no body mentions is that you can combine both like I do for the ultimate setup. I use the caribiner clips from the tube bands on the loop bands so you can use handles on the loop bands! Or take them off and use them as normal loop bands. You get a LOT more resistance from loop bands than tube bands which makes them much more useful imo.

can't you form a loop with tube ones? just connect the two metal ends together... if it's too long, loop it twice..
Yeah but it doesn't work well and is clunky. In actually running some personal tests with my loop bands now and got a replacement UnderSun band so things might change a bit

What resistance should i use if i can bench 225?
No idea. That will require testing. It isn't a 1 to 1 comparison.
@@GamerBody like i see 30 lbs resistance,is that challenging enough 😂?
The bands will provide more than that at full stretch (depending on the band you use). When I used to go to the gym (a long time ago) I was able to bench 240. With multiple bands I can get about that resistance when in fully stretch position. Just know that not all exercises match the strength curve properly with bands so I recommend partial reps when reaching failure (basically go through contraction as far as possible until you can't stretch the bands at all anymore.
For traditional I have Bodylastics and they are STIRDY! The handles are much more robust.
Nice I''ve been getting a lot of comments on them and plan to purchase for review in early 2021 :)
