I have seen Furukawa's other matches. His desire to win is still very strong and in 7 dan rank, it is inapproriate. Furukawa put down his both arms as crossing shinai pushing the opponent back with his body. This movement shows his ignorances of real katana fight reality. Furukawa also remains brutal as he push back his opponent with the tip-point of shinai. It is a small sign showing he did not respect his opponent and this is absolutely observed and against the spirit of Kendo. Referees are right, if Furukawa have won, other learners may think it is ok to ignore opponents' blades and do something against real fight spirits. Yes, Furukawa has hit several effective and clean men or tsuki. They will be counted in lower rank matches but not here. Funatsu could have been lost in the other games as hit so many times, in this game, Furukawa's amature atitiude defeated Furukawa himself, not by Funatus and the referees.

これはかなり酷だな。船津先生もこのような状況でやりにくかっただろうに。古川先生の突きは高校生や大学生のよくする子供だましの片手突きと比べ物にならないくらい迫力があるし、これが一本にならないとなると剣道界自体が疑われてしまうような気がする。

かーぼーの突きは良かったけど、残心をしっかり示さなかったので、審判が旗を揚げ損ねたなんだな。
それよりも面と小手の方をそれぞれ１本とすべきだ。
そにしてもこの審判は修行が足りんな。
剣道界はもっと審判の育成に励むべきだ。

皆さんが言うほどの誤審とは言いがたいと思います。
古川先生の面に船津先生の向かい突きで、体（たい）を止めているので、
もし、一本取るならば、おしいと言われてる最初の面を取らないと、
途中のはすべてあがらない（というよりあげれない）と思います。
諸手突きは機会も十分だったので一本でないのは部位をはずしてたと思われます。
一本の基準なんて試合によって様々です。八段大会ともなると格段にあがります。
審判のレベルが低いとか恐れ多くてとてもいえないし、剣道における誤審って、
相い面を見誤るなどの時に使われるべきで、これは誤審ではないと思います。

剣道家であればこそ、審判の決定は絶対であり、自分の手で決めたことは曲げぬのが信念だと思います。あなたの思う事はよく分かりますが、しかし、剣道家ならば、誤審だと喚くのもよして、文句や不満も内に収めておくべきだと思います。
何年も前のコメントに今更、説教垂れた言葉を言ってしまってすいませんでした。
試合の良し悪しは審判が決めるとは上手い事言ってるなと思う。審判批判はしたくないがこれでは剣道の未来が無いよ。
機会も大事ですよね。みなさんが一本だと言ってる技より私は後半の相メンの方がおしいと感じました。体も出てるしあとは面に当たるだけ、という印象です。返しドウも一瞬早ければメンでしょうし、当たってる技より一本に近い技も剣道にはあると私は考えています。
久々に見ましたが両選手はさすがの強さですね。
