So, I broke my theme, brought my favorite dad RichaadEB, and my partner (who is actually an awesome parent) AJ Waters on to jam with me on this, ridiculous, progressive synth-chip folk rock jamboree. Not gonna lie... I wasn't expecting to like this. Ace Waters to me usually means chill and groovy. A stark contrast to the upbeat jam that is Gerudo Valley. But this... This is perfection.
Wonderful work Ace, it's always nice to hear your ingenuitive textures and unique arrangement decisions on these iconic tracks! I love how natural you made the irregular time signatures sound!

So chill, yet so powerful. That's the best way to describe this. A very unique take on a classic. Loved every single second of it.

My favourite Zelda month by far. No joke, I have listened to Lost Woods about 50 times now, and I can't believe how consistently amazing your music has become. The layering of musical textures is so much fun, so unique, really a sound I've never heard anywhere else before or since (I mean, the synth over the saxophone in this one was just... wow). Thank you Ace for putting it out there :)
