record console stereos DO Sell, VERY WELL!!! there are dozens upon dozens of facebook groups that would be more than happy to save that. PLEASE SAVE THEM!
Those louvered doors are awesome! They sell great for people who want to make shelves out of them don't pass them up in the future bro! They are worth about $60 for the set easy!
I liked your advice on selling things in pairs or 4 of the same item. It's true, if you have 3 or 5 of the same item, people will always wonder where the extra one went or if it was damaged. Then they don't want any because in their mind it is incomplete.
I just love and appreciate your videos. I am 80 and have been sick since February...in and out of the hospital too. But God has never left or forsaken me and I am making giant strides in recovering. I have met many goals In this journey toward wellness and feel more myself again. I am so thankful for your videos. They have helped me when I needed it. Blessings, young man!
I wish you had an older person riding with you to explain the value in the stuff you see and don’t pick up! The orange chair and kitchen island have value. The mold could be cleaned probably. The MCM stereo is righteous, you could put that on Facebook Marketplace and people would trek to you purchase it. The bait box and contents could easily bring $5. The suitcase type piece you picked up first is a briefcase from probably the early 80’s. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to do my own garbage picking! But you did score some good finds. Keep on picking.
I’m a big fan.As a fellow picker ,you keep it real .A lot of times it’s a struggle to be a picker,I just do it part time as a side hustle for last 25 years and it gets harder every year.
My Mom and Dad had one i think it was from the 60s or 70s it was am fm Radio 📻 it Played 45s and 33s Records and it had 8 track in it the speakers was built in the Cabinet we had a blast listening to all the music no matter where it was coming from Records Tapes or the Radio we just love music it's started at our Church that we grew up in that just flooded me with alot of Good Memories thank you for Sharing
Hey Taco, did you leave the Dyson (purple) vacuum behind? The used parts are expensive! I just paid $20 for the canister “Lid”! Yes, for just the lid! Go back and get the vac and part it out!🤑
Why didn't you take the butcher block cart? It would have looked awesome in your kitchen, but you could have sold that for a lot of money! I was so surprised that you didn't take it! The card table legs fold underneath, but you didn't take that either, and that would have been easy to take to the flea market to put stuff on, even if you like to have boxes on the floor. And the tackle box had clear divided boxes in it that crafts/jewelry people would buy. That guy was really nice, showing you what stuff he wanted to give you.
love watching you pick up stuff and i love the sounds of your doors open and close and the sounds of your van as you stop it’s weird but it’s cool 😎 lol
That is a nice ironing board, hard to find, try it at the flea mkt. Congrats on collapsing the board. Now for the collapsible card table. Push in on the center of the support on each leg and legs fold flat, a handy thing to have, flea mkt, use or sell. Maybe still there.
Taco see if you can team up with some people in the area or near New York who can use you as a picker - they will pay you good for things like that big old stereo radio console. Amazing what you find on your picking days:)
I agree yank! Down here in texas we don't bat an eye at good furniture least of all a good stereo console! Lol. Taco! What were you not thinking? I know. I'm getting old and starting to get into my hoarding years. Haha.
Hey Taco that silver case that you picked up in the beginning of the video looks like a chef's lock box for knives I had one when I was in culinary school 10 years ago

Orange 60s chair seems pretty new I think that was a good sell. You can glue something underneath to hide the mold after drying it out well. I love the 60s look if you can fine Art Deco things eBay would want it
Try putting mulch in the water puddle in your yard. Some tree companies that mulch will bring it to you free, because they have to pay to dump it in the landfill.
There are times I see you bypass some items because they're too heavy for you to lift and load and unload by yourself, and I think you should occasionally take an extra person with you on trash picking days to help you. I hate seeing you leave some interesting things behind, but I don't want you to hurt yourself, either!
You could fill in those low spots in your driveway with stone or oyster shells. My family owned a bar and restraunt and before they could afford to black top the parking lot they put oyster shells so the lot would not be muddy , it worked great. You only have a few low spots so it should be alot easier and quick for what you have. Just a thought.
Taco, Yes it is a tool box. No it is NOT vintage. MyHubby fixes medical equipment and it standard issue... you can get them brand new just like that one
Cord cutting is to recycle the copper in the cords. Goes for high prices. Taco is recycling some of the items he takes, to keep metals out of landfill. Why gripe about it. Anything can be rewired in minutes. Even I can wire things so it is not horrible thing to take the cords off. If item is broken, whole thing gets thrown in landfill and copper is wasted. If it works, costs a few bucks to put on new cord. Safe for new owner too. Many lamps and old radios have cords cut off for estate auctions to save new owner getting juiced when they stupidly plug it in. Hey people, anything used needs to have a new cord put in it if you like your house and do not want it to burn down.
Hey Taco Stacks. I enjoy your channel and videos. I always holler and tell you to go ahead and pick it up but I totally understand your logic. Btw. It just hit me that you need to bring along a Uninterruptible Power Supply battery back up then you would have power to check some items if they work out not!! Cool idea!! Would love to check out your eBay site and support if you could tell how to find it. Thx
I so hate when you cut the cords off sweepers. They could work. I have found sweepers that work. Some people don't know how to change a belt or clean the brushes or change a bag.

@@BeagleLove13 I need one too but I dont want to pay that much for it. Eventually I will since I'm tall and ironing is a headache on a regular height one.

over where i live in scotland there was a storm and there was sooo much flooding along the coastal road , a wave sprayed onto our car and we had to stop because could not see a thing!
Just my opinion, but there are lots of people that would like those louver doors. Over the years new owners had removed them but retro is back in for closing off the kivingroom from the foyer.
I can't imagine this guy spending much on certain luxuries but he surely could certainly scrap up enough profit to buy everyone a cup of COFFEE with potatoes and eggs.

7:10 is a radiogram. Great to see someone using the best vehicle for the job. Panel vans are ideal. Just take more time to learn what's valuable.
That orange chair was cool
That little wooden trolley behind the chair, you should have grabbed that. That would sell in a heartbeat at a flea market.
