At the last auction, a telephone chair did go for a bit of money. I go for the dollar items, entire sets of retro china... Star Glow, Homer Laughlin Fleur d Lis, etc for a dollar. It is getting harder and harder to find the buys even at a late hour when many have left. It is all of the shows and YT channels.

I don't think the framed jigsaw puzzle is going to have anything behind the backing paper. If someone is going to buy it as framed art, they may not be happy to find the back paper cut in any way. Finding hidden treasures is most likely with fairly old framed items that had the backing attached by the owner. That framing job looks professional and a framing shop is never going to hide something behind a picture. Many professional framing jobs have the name of the business that did the work. Most people don't do that much detail work like the matting by themselves at home because it requires tools and equipment that as a rule only are found in framing shops. It is a nice piece.
