Wow, my 84l5 year old Aunt lives in Alberta. She most DEFINITELY WAS covered for dental care by the government of Alberta. So.. I don't know where this MP is getting his erroneous information..
I live in Alberta, my family grew up low income. We most definitely had dental coverage. It may not be called “dental care” however ot was dental COVERAGE. This was in the 1990s. The coverage for low income has increased since then.

I live in Alberta and I applied for the federal dental plans and I was told I do not qualify…I’m 76 years old and I make less then 28,000. A year and if I don’t qualify who does?
My 71 and 70 year old parents don't qualify
