Toyota may not own Subaru but from owning both brands, one can tell that they are both in ways " very Toyota ish" but they are both very good quality vehicles.
Great. Another underpowered Forester that will cost 40k+. I don’t understand why Subaru offers the 2.4 turbo in the XT for an Outback but not for the Forester, a sportier vehicle than the wagon. Until they come out with an XT or hybrid for the Forester, I'll keep my 2018 XT Touring. So fun to drive. 🤷♂️
What do you mean under powered? Oh yeah, I'm going to race in my off-road Forrester. That don't sound right. Forester are supposed to off-road and they're trying so hard to keep the car quiet because people were complaining about that last. Gen but this one right now is looking good so far all that because it's under powered, I will still buy it
@kishabacon604 You sound clueless. No one said anything about racing, Einstein. It's about having an option like you do on the Outback. 4-5 people with gear and this thing is a slug. And not everyone goes off-road, Rambo. Some just want more power on the highway. Have you ever even driven or owned a Forester or are you one of those keyboard experts at everything? 🤷♂️🤦♂️🙄
@@cecilthecavetroll9743 No, they're not. The Forester XT had a sportier suspension and bigger brakes. You wouldn't know because you never had nor drove one. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Not even close. You see it is the double undeniable comparison that reviewers are blind to. Most likely the Toyota's Transmission will last double the miles of the Subaru and the Subaru transmission will cost double to repair. Since Subaru refuses to use anything but CVT, Subaru will never be near the Toyota. The Subaru may be as long lasting as a Fiat auto tranny, yet Fiat did offer a standard so even Fiat has hope.
@kishabacon604 Did you bother to watch the video? At 3:15, he said the ground clearance for the 2025 Forestor is 9.7. That is not so. It's 8.7. It's not even 9.7 for the Wilderness now. It's 9.3. 😱🤦♂️🤷♂️
I used to own a 2017 Subaru Forester XT. The AC stop working within 2 years, can’t remove my key when in Park sometime. Window won’t close sometime. One of the wheels making grinding noise and temperature went up. Maybe these are ok for some people, but I get rid of it.
@@MrSquid-vy2ik the grinding means you need to change your wheel bearings idiot. It’s not the 7 year old cars fault that you need to start doing routine maintenance.
Toyota has stakes in Subaru. Both have excellent quality standards. Drs buy sports cars and Subarus for the weekdays for a reason
Toyota only has a 15% stake in Subaru. So by no means are they calling the shots.

When is Subaru going to bring back its excellent Forester model? Forester Turbo XT!
@TTC Cars,,,,Can you say for sure if there will be a Forester Wilderness 2025 Model?

Wagons are sportier than a fat fishbowl SUV man.

@@tommymas1 yea, because I only drive coupes and sedans… you know, actual sportier cars and not mom cruisers.
Is the hybrid just like the rav4?
I heard that Subaru will be using their boxer engine with Toyota's battery
Any mention of the 2025 Hybrid Forester?
Next year.

I hope they back s sti version. But the front look like ford. But to be honest, good job subaru.
The bottom look unlikely
9.7 inches or 8.7 inches ground clearance? The Wilderness only has 9.3 and the 2024 has 8.7 inches. 🤔🤔
What do you mean ground clearance? It's a sport model. The wilderness trim is coming though

TOYOTA better than su
I own a 2014 Suburu Forester and 2013 Toyota both since new, both the same quality, both excellent vehicles. No difference in quality.
