Windows 98: installing missing features

Adding to the #Windows98 Gericom laptop all sorts of missing #features - e.g. from networking over the Windows Calculator, to the System Monitor, Hyperterminal, and perhaps most importantly, Microsoft #Paint. An endeavor not without adventure, not without Bluescreen, honoring the tradition of missing DLLs and conflicting languages (German Win98 operating system, English CD-ROM for the features). And yet it benumbs my wit… What brute, uncouth barbarian EVER owned a Windows 98 machine without PAINT?!

WHAAAAT a throwback! 😆 Ahahaaa, I remember that! That was by "Cult of the Dead Cow" or something, right?! 😆

@@ninoivanovyep and Microsoft NEVER patched it, MS’s suggested fix was to use Windows NT Workstation or Windows 2000 (when it came out). Essentially it made Windows 9x completely vulnerable for the life of those Win 9x products
