The fact that those abilities are on Rauau's arm means that the founder of Hyrule *also* did this bullshit with the fusing.

That was the most stunning example of an egregiously wrong solution that still got the question correct.
That seems like so much more an obvious solution in retrospect now. The way I did it was attaching a hook and fan to a cart and dangling it across the unbroken rail.

For reference, the first 48 minutes of the video are just Shen completing the tutorial island and messing around with building immediately after landing.
From 48:39 to 52:46, Shen goes in an unusual direction and stumbles into stuff I would consider heavy spoilers.
From 52:46 onwards, Shen starts following quest markers and only getting into mild spoilers (i.e. things most players probably see within an hour of landing).

What I meant is opening shrines but not actually completing them once I got a full wheel around my stamina bar then promptly finishing the 4 temples with 3-5 hearts max at any given time whilst hunting down Geoglyphs. Yeah I did it but I made it infinitely harder on myself for no reason.,
I recently started opening shrines and not doing them cuz I kept getting distracted by every little thing.

Oh my gosh I love that the FIRST THING you did when you got to the ground was build a wagon and drive headfirst into a Hinox that proceeded to decimate it.
When I was playing on launch day and the trees started attacking, my brother said "oh no, the trees have rizz" and now it's forever burned into my memory.
Tears of the Kingdom fits the definition of an immersive sim. 90% of problems can be solved by stacking a bunch of boxes.

Man, Ganondorf in on point in this game. This is a link who has taken down Calamity Ganon and freed all of Hyrule. Yet mere moments after reanimated, he's already ripped Link's hearts out, corrupted his arm to the point of it needing amputation from demon gangrene, absolutely neutered the Master Sword, jumpkicked Princess Zelda into a time fissure, hoisted all of Castle Hyrule into the sky and just for good measure, rained fucking rocks on the rest of the land, starting a new crisis. What an absolute unit.
Also, you make such cute noises.

The amiibos work as soon as you gain the power in the first shrine, but they give worse rewards on the great sky island

I know the title is a joke, but I feel like it's functionally impossible to play TotK "badly". The devs just gave us a sandbox, some tools and told us "Fuck it up, champ", then left the room.

I love that using the Amiibo at the start doesn’t allow the player to break the game by giving you powerful weapons and armor. That’s a real access denied scenario just to prevent any game breaking shenanigans.
This game is so much fun, it’s overwhelming how much new stuff there is and how big the game is. Happy to see people are having lots of fun, and are beating the game in all sorts of ways. ❤️❤️❤️
The quadruple minecarts on the broken rail might be the funniest thing I've seen so far out of this game. XD. All ya had to was put a hook on one cart and gondola your way across, but somehow you found a different almost-fatal method!
That said, my favorite combos so far are Spear on a Spear (aka absurdly long spear) and Minecart on a Stick.

this video showing me the intro to this game was the thing that convinced me to get it, and it has since become one of my favorite games ever as well as the only Zelda game i've almost fully completed
