Great reaction! Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian band, formed back in 1993 when Black Metal was highly controversial.

man, check out the band Septicflesh - sympho death metal band from Greece. They are absolutely gorgeous. Personally, I like them even more than DB.

You should definitely try one of their older songs that are actually good. Stuff from Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, Spiritual Black Dimensions (my personal favorite) and Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia when they were in their prime. They really were one of the best symphonic black metal bands.

They have made a transition for sure, but I actually like the newer and cleaner sound just as much as the raw older stuff. They are truly an awesome band🫡

@@livinnash7693 yeah I’m not a fan of their new stuff, so I just do t listen to it. Won’t stop me from listening to their old stuff over and over again though. So glad my friends showed me them back in high school.
