Very accurate review, thank you for uploading. I've been using their services for two years now. I am not a big fan of their stock footage, much seems to be from European countries. I also wish they had their music categorized with more options (instrumental/vocals.) Speaking of music, I had my first BIG issue with their stock music library. I got a copyright claim for a Motion Array track and I contested it since I had the license. I was surprised when the artist didn't accept my license. It seems that the audio track had a different name and Motion Array had removed it from their library after I had used it legally. At the end, I lost and had to change the audio track. Motion Array offered me a free month of service, but honestly, this fail really shook me and made me wonder if any other tracks would be claimed on my videos or commercial work. MA assured me this was an uncommon issue so I'll have to see what happens in the future. I find the adobe plug ins to be quite useful and I agree that FCP users are getting shafted. I've been wanting to drop adobe for FCP, but I don't think this is the time. lol.

Fantastic review of Motion Array. Been using them for years for title animations, but never thought about trying them for music!

Jenn, your review of MA is very good. I’m a commercial architectural photographer / aerial videographer and I use LinkedIn as my advertising venue. I am an Adobe user. In putting together ads, I’m finding that I could use some motion graphics to enhance my messages. I’ve been looking for some subscription programs that would give me a good variety of motion graphics that are compatible with Premiere Pro. Your review nearly convinced me to try Motion Array, however, after reading some of the comments about this company’s policies, I’ve decided that After Effects might be my better choice for now. As far as music goes, there are several really good programs out there. Nevertheless, I found your review to be extremely good and I did go ahead and subscribe to your channel. Your are an excellent presenter and I find you to be very credible. Thanx for your honest reviews.

I’m used to Lumafusion fusion where story blocks is directly integrated so I’m really looking for something that easy for music and video footage for b-roll that pulls into FCPX without have to leave FCPX.
I use DaVinci and OBS for my RUclips videos and was looking to improve the quality. I’m considering to add an affordable option like this but now I’m reconsidering this one. The last thing I want is a copyright claim against me after all the hard work I put into something. Not sure if there is a safer beginner budget friendly option out there?
After canceling the membership, is the template still usable for learning purposes on the PC? I don't mean for publishing. I was just thinking to download a few in a month and practicing and subscribe again when ready to publish. Or are the templates not working in the time you are not a paying member?

Thanks for the review Jenn! It helped quite a bit. One thing to note is that the paid assets are no longer yours forever. Not sure when this change was made (I know you made this video almost a year ago) but I just checked and it says "you will no longer be able to use paid assets in new projects" if you downgrade from a paid account to a free account. Unfortunately, as a FCP user this ends up being a dealbreaker for me.
I think that was the entire gist of their licensing since the beginning, right? I believe they made it clear that if you're currently subscribed to them, every assets you used and was published in the past will not be claimed by them. But if you unsubscribe to them you will have no rights to use the assets you downloaded before. Which I understand is kind of a rip off. You can correct me if I'm wrong.
"The good news is that any work you completed while subscribed is licensed for commercial use forever." so a 1 month subscription whenever you have work will do, right?
Thanks for such a great walk though and your honest opinion! I am on the fence wether to keep on Epidemic Sound after the trial ends in a month as well as buying titles and templates from Motion VFX. Motion Array seems to be a better solution, since I am fairly new to the video world and editing and also MA has both graphics / titles etc. and sound. However - I am - like you am a FCXP user and it does sets me off that the integration is not at seemless as Motion VFX with the build-in app. How do you go about that - any great tips and advice for a good workflow :)

I've been a user of M.A for at least two years. I think their strength is in the Adobe templates, especially After Effects. I expect their final Cut and Resolve content to keep growing. In my opinion not the best music or stock footage library, but for all round content it was the best value the I could find at the time of looking. And there is always fresh stuff being added. If you're a creator you can create content for the site and make money :)

I have heard that if you stop paying for the subscription you’ll end up getting copyright strikes against any of the previously used music on platforms like RUclips? Is there any truth to this? Thank you. Great video by the way.
I'm always hesitant to give advice on these issues because companies change their policies and also I'm not a lawyer. I would contact Motion Array directly and ask.
You won’t get copyright strikes if you had posted the project before the end of your subscription. You won’t be able to use any download from motion array if you stop subscription.

I saw on the site its says if you purchase a subscription and then cancel the plugins won't work anymore. Is this true? I was thinking I'd buy a month and get a few I want and then cancel. Thanks :)

As i davinci resolve user i was also discriminared, even more as a windows user as many motion graphic clips are in codecs that only work on apple computers. I recently finished my subscription. Think im trying Envato next.

The Premiere plugins/effects seem to need a lot of work in terms of being better organized and including tutorials describing how to use each particular effect/plugin

I cancelled my Motion Array subcription and it said that I have switched to "Continuity plan". But then I check on the website and it also says "For $9.99 a month, you will be able to post new work using the assets you've already downloaded from our library. You won't be able to download new premium assets.". Please tell me that this does not mean that I'm losing $10 every month to them even though I have not used anything on Motion Array for months ever since I ended the subcription. I'm not a native English speaker so I'm kinda confused by the phrasing of this sentence
Their audio-free tutorials that come with the downloads could be more helpful. I dug a little and found a better spoken-word video; however, your installation tutorial was perfect. thanks!

I closed my account with them today. I couldn't upload my music productions.
I don't like Motion Array for one reason. in 2021 they force you to buy the pro version. If you don't buy it, good luck downloading anything. I tried at least 43 items and on every single one of them it says you must have the pro version. Not a fan of motion array.

Still not sure if this means downloaded/purchased content is 'mine' or becomes unusable if I cancel. I'm don't need a monthly plan for what might be only a handful of templates.
