Uh, your point at 4:41 is not true. Franklin isn't the youngest Richards child. Valeria is his little sister. And where's the Sentry?
My point exactly where the hell is Sentry as well as superman 1 million
This guy in the video is a fraud. Heknows very little hes only here because his father is either the creator and/or the boss of what culture.
Sentry shouldn’t be here, and I’m guessing that he isn’t using multiple versions of the same character. But his list is still trash. Deadpool is the strongest in the universe right next to gwen poole since they can both (or at least Deadpool) warp the reality of the comics themselves, not just the reality they are in. Then it should be all reality warpers. (The one above all is of course number 1, but I just figured that was a given).
@@sacrificial420 Deadpool, as I understand it, is no longer immortal. Soooo, no...
Flash Frozen he is as long as he stays popular (on top of his curse). This was told by gwenpool. As long as they are popular enough, they will never really die.
Im sorry did you just make this list but forget SENTRY!?
I'm glad he was ignored, tired of hearing about him and seems like a badly written character.
not the first time in their overpowered super hero lists
Im surprised silver surfer aint make the list either
I hate the character but you are absolutely right, he has to be on this list.
Sentry was set up to become a bad guy.
Deadpool? So.... he's immortal. Encase him in adamantium, leave him in deep space, drop him into a star or black hole. He may be unkillable, but he can be contained or countered easily enough. You're right about Supes though. His being incredibly powerful is part of the appeal because he's one of the most humble and conscientious heroes there are.
But he can teleport
Superman's power level is why I can't stand him.
The only reason Squirrel Girl even exists is to dump on male character.
I agree. Also, there is at least one occasion when Deadpool actually died.
@@McMahonHater huh?
Capt. Atom is legit one multiverse crossover and Richard Nixon away from becoming Doc Manhattan.
Dr Manhattan was based on him tho so yeah
Well put! Although he does cross over through the multiverse under the identity of Monarch...
There was an army of captain atoms from all worlds and dr manhattan was among them. So yeah same dude different universe. Minus the hole john osterman / nathaniel atom thing
@@roys2027 Do you hate Doomsday clock
Be nice to me when you reply
@@iamnotawfulanymore3873 no I liked it it just did no justice to captain atom. But very few story lines do
Sure, put Deadpool in but leave out the Sentry. A guy that defeat Molecule Man by literally overpowering him with Molecule Man‘s own powers...
The whole Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe was all for jokes he would never be able to do that. Sentry would make him his bitch
The_Chillbro Gyro yet he did, and it is canon, not to mention he can manipulate the comic pages himself.
The_Chillbro Gyro also, the way he killed Spider-Man also makes -5 sense. Deadpool pulled the trigger under Spidey‘s chin, which shouldn‘t possible because of *Spider-Man‘s Spider-Sense.*
The Spidey-Sense is so op, that Spider-Man even dodged lasers thanks of it and they want to tell us that it didn‘t react under his Chin?
M. Mirza well number 1, how do you dodge a bullet that is literally going upwards, and number 2, he can warp the reality of the comics. Also, I doubt Spider-Man thought he was actually in any real danger since him and wade were “friends.”
Deadpool is not even a super hero lol
Flex Mentallo is an unlimited reality warper (asides from the limits of his muscles) who literally can flex reality around him. Put some respeck on the name.
Bro, this guy has never heard of FLEX. lol
His reality warping is nothing compared to that of most marvel omega level mutants. This list is pretty bad, but it would be boring if it was only reality warpers.
Sentry. The character if I remember right a writer basically admitted Marvel keep benching because he's actually too powerful to keep in-universe constantly
He's even stronger than superman how he's not on the list
@@angryraptor9379 looking at statements he kinda is but not by feat.
@@edrickhuge4637 they two just overpowerd
@@edrickhuge4637 and sentry don't die im not saying that one better than the other but its a fact
He was already overpowered and then in Dark Avengers they revealed he can manipulate molecules.
No Sentry, Silver Surfer, Thor, or Martian Manhunter
agree except Thor not op
@@angryraptor9379 Rune King Thor should be there though
@@ferdz6510 nah man he's strong but not op
RKT is quite strong. Defeated Mangog, and then defeated Those Who Sit Above In Shadow, cosmic level beings (unfortunately, unidentifiable power level but of course, much stronger than Odin. Could be Galactus or Dormmamu level, but that’s unknown)
Why are so many of y’all crying about sentry he isn’t overpowered
No sentry no blue marvel no Hyperion or even image comics spawn this list is wack
Ay Bourbon blue marvel us crap compared to sentry or Hyperion
No scarlet witch
Hyperion isn't a "hero" technically. Sentry should be on the list, Scarlet Witch to be frank isn't strong enough to be on this list. Yes, there was the whole "No More Mutants" thing, but current Scarlet Witch has a limiter on her powers which makes her not OP enough to be on this list.
Also, you forgot Adam Warlock.
Ay Bourbon It’s very DC and Marvel bias as well, not mentioning other overpowered comic book characters outside of Marvel and DC.
@@whaleping because no one knows those guys dude Lol
Silver Surfer? Adam Warlock? Sentry?
Franklin Richards at 6.... Thats an understatement of the year. Hes more OP than Dr Manhattan. He will be at the end of this Universe and the rebirth of a new one. He is Marvels entity of Life as Galactus is Marvels entity of Death. Franklin is Marvels Deus Ex Machina. He comes in resets the multiverse and goes away.
Exactly no dr strange, starbrand or shepherd either this guys info sux
Taking into consideration that Manhattan is pure energy omniscient, omnipotent and all that god's shit, he'll just be able to beat out Franklin's powers by just a little I'ld had put them Franklin in #2 and Manhattan in #1
@@bardi869 that's pretty much the same as galactus :/
@oblivion but Galactus is mostly known for being a villain
@@bardi869 that's misinterpretation cause he ain't a villain he is a universal constant, neither good nor bad, but being made of pure energy, omniscient, nigh omnipotent (depending on feed) honestly though there ain't much of a difference between franklyn and Manhattan
To answer your questions, yes. All of those things are things that versions of Captain Atom are capable of. Dr. Manhattan was very much an expy of Captain Atom. If you didn't know Atom could manipulate reality, be omnipresent, etc, he in fact can.
LupineShadowOmega, Yeah I was about to comment asking where the 10th entry on the list was seeing as how they essentially had the same character on the list twice.
Even when Captain Atom was Monarch he *easily* defeated 3 alternate versions of Superman and 3 alternate versions of Wonder Woman at the same time.
Captain Atom could very well be every bit as strong as Manhattan but unlike him is unwilling to use his full power in fear he could very well become just like Manhattan. Also no Martian Manhunter?
You're forgetting one thing, captain atom fought against Dr. Manhattan with almost the entirety of the heroes from the entire DC catalogue and HE LOST. THATS CANNON AND DECIDED BY DC THEM SELVES!
Divinity, Blue Marvel, Icon, Hyperion,Silver Surfer, Martian Manhunter,... Etc
And sentry
Or spawn(or god spawn to be more specific)
Icon Superman said no one has EVER hit him harder. Icon hit him at about 65%
An honorable mention: Doctor Solar; Simply put, Solar is Doctor Manhattan before Doctor Manhattan was a thing.
A man of culture.
Finally someone making sense
Captain Atom should be higher on the list. One of my favorites, but admittedly heavily under used.
I stopped the video whenever you put deadpool in a top 10 most overpowered superheroes ever lmao
2 minutes in and 4 unskippable ads, jesus ain't that a bit much
Damage only has 60 minutes of power?
This list isn’t going by ranks. They are just put into a list. Not by who is stronger. It’s just top 10
Thank you for producing this content
The most overpowered superheroes are the damn writers who have no inkling of what continuity is.
And the writers who grant plot armor, or every comic writer ever
Where are The Sentry and Scarlet Witch?
Scarlet Witch's power fluctuates so much. Even her feat in House of M was retconned at one point as merely opening a dimensional "tear" and letting chaos magic flow through that altered reality
So when you say Phoenix you mean the Phoenix force right? Because it is a seperate entity from Jean, as she is not the only one to gain and use pheonix force.... Just saying
They don't actually read comics it seems. They said doctor Manhattan gives people cancer from radiation... when it was a massive plot point that adrian made that up in order to get dr Manhattan off planet.
@@bobdylan1968 Thank you. That ignited my nerd rage.
@@micah4029 I've seen a fair amount of their comic videos. It seems they just made the channel to capitalize on superhero trend. They must just skim information online and throw together a video.
@@bobdylan1968 they really don't and it triggers me quite often.
Sentry?! Blue Marvel?! Solar: Man Of The Atom?! Martian Manhunter just to name a few?
Nice to see that someone knows solar and blue marvel
@@skeletoncrew6500 I'm hoping Blue Marvel gets introduced in the MCU and we get an Ultimates movie or miniseries.
Wait how was The Sentry left out of this?
I was about to comment that.
The Sentry's power is far too variable to really be overpowered. You have the guy as the Void basically Curbstomping Galactus and Pheonix, and fighting WWH to a stalemate, and in another story have him just be a s chiophrenic hallucination of his original identity.
@@godzilla4189 He makes himself week in order to hide from being the Sentry if anything the fact that he has the power to power himself down is proof of how powerful he is.
godzilla4189 you literally just described his character so what's wrong?
Hold up, how does HULK rank higher than Superman? Like uh NO.
Ron Gunz Well that’s simply because the Hulk can beat Superman. *Grabs popcorn*
I think these are just listed at the top of his head. If u actually look at the feats of each hero, Superman is much stronger and faster than Hulk. Then he has heat vision, freeze breath, and other stuff
@@elpenguinoofmexico1388 hulk gets continually stronger throughout a fight and also becomes more resistant to anything you throw at him so I'm guessing that's why they placed him higher
@@abrahamestimay4348 And I guess it's also because of the lack of any known weakness.
The hulk has no limit in strength superman does
I just don’t get how superman is more powerful than gods and Demi gods
Just because our sun has different radiation to his 😂
Wow, Franklin is much lower on this list than I would have thought. Are you putting him that low because of his age and inexperience? I would think he would be at the top of the list, or, maybe only under Dr. Manhattan.
He really should be. He and Molecule Man recreated the multiverse!
I cant stand the 4 in the first place but then they dropped the kid on us who is basically a match for the living tribunal depending on the writer.
Captain Atom DID fashion an entire reality out of nothing in the comics.
There was a storyline where Captain Atom learned that he has mental blocks that prevent him from utilizing his full power. Those mental blocks were removed with assistance from another character (can't remember his name)
He was then told to test his powers by creating a universe. Captain Atom created an entire universe with entire populations and even his own Justice League.
That's right, he created his own Superman, Flash, Batman, etc.
However at the end of that story his mental blocks were restored since he felt he was not ready for that kind of power.
You forgot Sentry
Do you know who’s stronger than all of them combined? Cosmic armor Superman, and he’s not even on this list...
The Milkman might be stronger just google DC Milkman
he's strong but I dont think he's 'lifting the entire universe on his fingertip' strong
Edit: Sorry I meant Multiverse
Know who could kill all of them in like seconds. Ghost rider
do you mean everyone on the list or cosmic armor superman?
@@murr1785 both i assume they all have souls and feel guilt in which case ghost rider could use his abilities to destroy or just eat their soul cuz ghost rider is broken
This list is very inaccurate in my opinion next time do more research
Jonathan Nejman my god shut up
With Superman, it should always be recognised that while some writers decided to portray him as insanely powerful, for a lot of his modern cannon, he barely makes the the top 30 most powerful 'Earth' characters; he has teammates who 'could' kill him with hardly any effort and even his older-younger cousin is often written as objectively several time more powerful in every way than Kal-El.
It never sticks to any significance, though, Superman's "most powerful DC hero" motif is just too strong to overcome. I'm waiting for Superman to casually handle Damage in a future comic. Hell, recent comics have basically established that he could conceivably beat anybody if he just takes a dip a few suns.
And Supergirl isn't stronger than Clark, when she was introduced as that, it was later revealed that it appeared that way because Superman was just holding back.
I'm waiting for Superman to casually handle Damage in an inevitable future comic.
Lol did I really need to see an ad for Gmail??? Like... "What is this gmail you speak of?"
One thing I noticed about these list is throwing somewhat unknown characters on there instead of the most known..
talking about barry allen, shows picture of wally west.
Batman is without question the most OP superhero. He has the greatest superpower:Plot Armor.
Oh yeah, Dr Manhattan has plot powers
I'm a Batman fan and I 100% agree. Like when he went head up with Darkseid I just said um this is getting out of pocket! Then DC has had him do it several times including in the movie Supergirl where Darkseid slams him through a wall, I was like okay, we just out of pocket.
Funny thing about plot armour. A sniper on a roof across from Wayne manner can beat it pretyy easy.
Superman beat his own death. And just punched a Universe creator
When i get tired of seeing Batman always beating or outsmarting everyone I just reread Knightfall and watch him get his azz whupped by Bane in his own house😅
Molecule man at full potential is almost as strong as Dr Manhatten
Ohhkap imagine sentry then
He was beaten by Sentry
Mxy, spawn, hyperion, captain marvel, Amazo and obviously sentry. List was cute and all but lacking. Good job though guys
Mxy, Hyperion, and Amazo are mainly villains
Talks about Superman without mentioning his pre crisis powers such as a sneeze capable destroying entire galaxies
Some people don't know how powerful Shazam and Thor are.
Two words.
Swamp Thing
At one point he possesses every elemental power known to man and is basically god. So of course the books focus on his domestic life and raising his daughter. O_o
One word..ODIN
During an event called the festival of books in my city a year ago the writer of the newer Squirrel Girl was at a panel, and bragged about her beating Thanos :P
Right so symbiotes, with their ability to make anything super even more super the fact that they are basically immortal along with their host as well and this ability to just inherit new abilities just by coming I to contact with them I think at this point symbiote are pretty op.
You forgot everyone’s favorite sentient machine colony: Hourman One Million.
I feel like the biggest mistake people make with Superman is thinking he needs to be depowered to be interesting.
I can only think of one interesting storyline where he was depowered, and it was an early Smallville episode.
All-Star Superman, Injustice, Superman vs. The Elite, and the entirety of Justice League Unlimited: they’re some of his best and most interesting stories, and they show him at his most powerful.
Well, people has many misconceptions about him. Superman mostly deal with two things. Cosmic level threats where he isn't really OP, or his relation to humanity where he is. Still, time when he punched bandits end long time ago.
Dark knight returns
@@cigar_goblin4849 He wasn't depowered and didn't lost. It is common misconception due to fact that most bandwagon fanboys didn't really read that thing. Earth-31 Toolman simply put least possible effort as he didn't really want arrest Dark Knight, but he has his orders from Uncle Sam, so he still needed do something.
@@TheRezro was depowered in the fight plus wasnt he in a damn nuke before the fight he was extremely weakened before the fight with bruce then weakened more during the fight
@@cigar_goblin4849 Batman goal was to stage own death from the get go, so Clarke would blame himself for causing death of his friend by fallowing orders of government. Rest is basically a setup, so Clarke would believe that he sincerely try put him down. So initial state of Superman isn't really relevant, as how much nuke affected doesn't really impact the final result.
TO ME MY GALACTUS!!! My favourite comic moment ever
If this was based off of the most powerful fictional characters I would say the one above all is the most OP because he is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. Also he basically represents the creators of the comics
Great list! Captain Marvel (Shazam version). Martian Manhunter. Totally agree with Flash though. Ooh! Ooh! And Swamp Thing! He’s basically Aquaman, but made of land and can do almost anything he wants.
Franklin richards also has the power of never hittng puberty
Didn't he make himself grow to adulthood at one point? Bit drunk, so I can't remember.
I would give credit to Rune King Thor (broke the Ragnarok cycle, and defeated Those Who Sit Above In Shadow) or even God Hercules. The latter remade the multiverse that Mikaboshi destroyed (but unfortunately at the cost of his nigh omnipotence). All Powerful Sentry (Merged Sentry), but can’t because we haven’t seen him in action yet. Matthew Malloy, not frequently talked about but he’s about Franklin Richards level of power. Classic Dr. Strange is a beast.
I can’t say much for DC OP superheroes. Maybe Dr. Fate? Idk 😐
The spectre is a overpowered broken character that should be on the list.
He is a cosmic entity just like Phoenix, she shouldn't be on the list.
I was really hoping Michael Demiguros or Lucifer would be on the list but I suppose they arent super heroes but just really OP Angel's.
I want to see World Breaker Hulk in the MCU.
Was kinda hoping you’d go more into other comic book universes other than marvel and dc
Silver surfer captain marvel Shazam what about Charles Xavier’s kid I forget his name
Legion
You include Deadpool but ignore a guy who has that same imortality plus super strength etc, Lobo.
Much like Deadpool he is more of an anti-hero and has played the villain too, but if you are including DP as a hero, then Lobo fits that bill too.
Lobo is a villian tho
@@nocturnasinterfector Lobo was a long term member of the heroic team L.E.G.I.O.N. so I stand by the fact he is an anti-hero. Deadpool was a villain as well.
Actually he's done a lot worse things than deadpool
How could you make a list like this without the Sentry?!?
So... why did you technically feature Captain Atom twice? And why is one ranked 4 when he has destroyed a universe, and no 1 is all powerful based mostly on him being the only superpowered being in his world?
Lobo is one
Is Lucifer Morningstar Persona non grata to WhatCulture? Because every single time a "powerful comic character" video gets put out he seems to be mysteriously ignored despite being as close to omnipotent as one can get
An Inconvenience yeah seems to me they’re very loathe to put in Dark/Vertigo characters and any characters not from the big two publishing houses. I’m just happy to have a pretty snazzy comics channel with some backing but it would be nice if they’d be a bit more inclusive of less known characters. Not that Lucifer, Mr TV Show, is less known now.
@@davidportmore9784 quite, I can think of a few Image comics characters that could be on this list
Agree in principle, but to be fair, this list is about OP _heroes_ and Vertigo characters like Lucifer and Morpheus are not heroes. They are fantastic characters and had great comics, but they aren't technically heroes. :)
Manhattan don’t damage people with radiationt... at least in the film. It was Osymandius who did it to make people believe that Manhattan does this.
(Sorry for the bad language, I hope you get what I mean)
Why did he say that Captain Atom can't create realities when he literally created a reality in the Quantum-Field
I feel like this list is missing some key heroes. Sentry, Scarlet Witch, and Spawn come to mind.
The new version of Wally West. At least until they decide to mess with him again.
Franklin!!! "To me my galactus"
One of the most badass comic moments ever
Damage looks like...
And his name is...
John Cenaaaa!!!
Yesssshhhh wow this list is like totally A1 material man
Franklin Richards vs Dr. Manhattan: A Battle for the Ages
What about Lobo he is more powerful than Deadpool has a great healing factor even if he doesn't heal his soul will find another body he is almost as strong as Superman and has a motorcycle that can outrun a blackhole pretty sure he could kill Deadpool
Good list. I don't think DeadPool shouldn't be on there IMO tho. And a few I think you forgot, The Beyonder, pre-retcon Doctor Strange, Sentry, Doomsday, and of course Thor. Any one of these should be able to replace DeadPool IMO.
You forgot Sentry, the Spectre, and black Bolt
Do a part 2
HM: The Flash, Captain Atom, Sentry, Adam Warlock, Hulk, Thor, Dr. Strange, Shazam, Dr. Fate, Spawn, Captain Marvel
1: Spectre
2: Doctor Manhattan
3: Franklin Richards
4: Superman (All versions)
5: Captain Universe
6: Phoenix
7: Phantom Stranger
8: Silver Surfer
9: Martian Manhunter
10: Scarlet Witch
This list cannot be taken as a stand alone list and not in power level order
Sentry, Blue Marvel, Silver Surfer, Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange, Adam Warlock, Gladiator, Hyperion, Star Brand, Quasar, Captain Universe, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Lobo, Icon, Swamp Thing, Dr. Fate, Phantom Stranger, Specter, White Lantern!
Martian Manhunter? Thor? And most importantly, Batman?
Mcu Captain Marvel is way too overpowered. I still find it funny how they kept trying to write ways for her not to be in Endgame for that much screen time
Kite Man. Hell Yeah!!!
When did Kal’s cape get so long?
Where are The Sentry/The Void, The Marquis Of Death, "Molecule Man" Owen Reece and The One Above All on this list?
Most of those aren't considered heroes.
@@Ozyman73 Still, they are even more overpowered than most (if not all) superheroes
@@RC99_Productions but the list is about heroes not villains
1:24 kinds sounds like “add to this niggas like Thanos” 😂
It’s crazy how when it comes to overpowered super hero’s plot armor is still the only thing that saves them.
Not having Franklin Richards at least #2 is outrageous. I'd like to see a breakdown of Franklin vs Dr Manhattan.
Nah franklin frankly will destroy dr Manhattan
Every time I hear about Squirrel Girl I get so confused...what does she do again?? Lol...
Squirrel Girl vs Dormammu?
You forgot to mention Hyoerion on this list
So uuuuh I recently dove into the amazing story that is planet hulk/world war hulk and I’m actually afraid of what the hulk can theoretically do, and what he did in that story line. EPIC. Seriously, read them. I won’t spoil it but pretty much EVERYONE is in it.
Yet if i remember right ghost rider could shrug him off sooo why aint ghost rider on this list
Its stil the phonix force i know, but why look at the dark phonix when you could take a look at the white phonix insted..
As far as i know, it has only happend once, but the white phonix had the power to fix the multivers. (it was more of a plot devise but it stil happend)
Blue Marvel, Sentry and Hyperion are also ridiculously OP
You forgot legion
Im shocked Scarlet Witch isnt on here. She isnt Universally Powerful. Shes Multiversally Powerful (albeit not all the time) at one point wiping out 90% of Mutants powers in the entire Multiverse with three words
_No more mutants_ :)
There are so many more powerful than the Flash, Hulk, Damage and some others in this list.
The beyonder, the one above all, the presence, the spectre in his prime ... tbh Superman’s only super super powerful in his one shot stories like the one where he tore through the fabric of reality and made clones of himself
Deadpool should be vulnerable to telepaths.
Franklin Richards reminds me of Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes
I remembered when deadpool basically can edit anyyhing he wants, and basically make anything he says true
Manhattan doesn't give off radiation sickness.
Whoa, you said Capt Atom was Monarch. I read that crossover and Hawk of Hawk and Dove ended up being Monarch not Atom so was he Monarch in some other alternate timeline story?! Please make it make sense (cause you really effed up there)?
Sentry and maybe the sliver surfer
Franklin Richards with Kick all the juice boxes.
