I've been on your journey for quite some time.. just never commented before. I wanted to say, you and yours have been my therapy. Thank you for sharing your adventures in life, your knowledge and compassion not just in the woods but as a great father, husband and all around good man! Thanks Joe for all you do man!
I am SO happy to see you at the fort again! These are some of my favorite posts. I wish I'd seen these before my grandson (16 now) grew up. What good times we would have had!
It makes me so happy to see you having a good time out there again Joe. Couple times there it seemed like it was almost becoming a chore for ya. Love the happiness coming through the screen this video.
definitely still seems more like a chore than before, which makes total human sense since he's been doing similar stuff for so long, it probably is very hard to seem just as passionate as he once was. Unfortunately, his viewers have noticed and his views are taking a hit. Thankfully, there's nothing wrong with that, every channel will have highs and lows and im ready for winter joe
A few tips to help with Beauty being outside. If she's been recently shaved down, I'd suggest getting a vest or sweater. If you guys are open to it, you can also talk to your groomer about more appropriate hair cut for a poodle in cooler weather. When their fur is an inch or two thick, they are incredibly insulated and warm. When there is none they get cold because they have no undercoat.
You're quite literally reliving my childhood. I used to disappear into the woods behind our farm and build forts since I was probably 7 or 8...lol My dad would laugh about his girly tomboy.
Love to watch the videos of the fort. And so nice to see both dogs tagging along to experience the fort. Can't wait to see the improvements to it that you are planning.
Love the fort videos.. Hopefully it can become a lifelong spot that you visit during winter months and turn into some memorable videos with friends and family..The Fort needs a name and Doug could always carve a cool sign and other things
With the addition of Wolf, I feel like the somber spirit of your videos has been transformed. A resurrection of happiness has occurred. It's great to see the fort being updated too. Keep up the good work. I appreciate your efforts.
@@davidpassword I do everyime, problem is, it disappears from our individual screens, but not from the entire comments section. Thank RUclips, they have orchestrated and given the ok, some of the scammers even work directly for RUclips.
I think all that beauty needs is a blanket or mat to lay on. A dog vest would also be something to consider for a dog that doesn't have a lot of thick fur. Gotta be a good dog parent that meets their needs so they enjoy the outdoor time with you.
Can’t believe I blinked when the wood chips came flying to the camera. Nice time out with the dogs and can’t wait for an overnight with lots of snow on the ground and Wolf curled up underneath you.
Wow been a minute since I’ve watched your videos but coming back now seeing you building a fort eating steak with wolf reminds me the the ole bushcraft shelter with you and scout. Also I think it would be cool to build yourself a table and chair and maybe another section for the dogs too sleep in or something
The fort's looking good with the protective walls going up. Good idea to flip the heavy log end on end to get it to the fort instead of carrying it. The fire looked really cozy and the steak...oh my! Beauty may have been curling up because she was chilly with her fur cut off. Wolfy has much more fur to keep him warm. Maybe a little doggy sweater next time for Beauty and an old blanket for them to sleep on at night to stay cozy. Enjoyed the video. Very nice.
Beautiful shots, the blurry and all. The ferns are coloring up so amazingly! Im a dog groomer and outdoor enthusiast! So the dogs make me so happy! Also so happy to see the Beauty girl along also! She is a huntress, all the smells! Poodles huskys and German sheaperd are my favs so you have all the best combos in my opinion!
Love it Joe. Gotta get Doug and the boys back this winter. That was the beginning of this site, no? BTW Joe, I'm in my 3rd year of getting out doing solo camps. You've been a great inspiration and have given me the confidence to get out and do what I love.
Joe. Always like to visit the Fort. Hope you get it buttoned up to use a couple of times in the winter. Would love to see you build a PERMANANT log cabin , big enough for future family trips, maybe 12 x 14 ? But for goodness sake get yourself a good electric chainsaw !!! Love how you treat your dogs. Stay safe + best wishes for your family. Sudbury Ontario.
Glad you are building the fort up as again. You seem happier there and dogs make you keep on your toes. Wolf is better outside dog. Beauty is home dog. You need both. God Bless you.
The fall colors are beautiful❣️ what an interesting fort. Nice dogs. They are fun to watch as they play. It is relaxing to watch your videos. Thanks, Joe
The dogs are double trouble! 😄 It's great to see both dogs at the fort with you Joe. Your spirit has really lifted since Wolf came into your life. Glad to see that. Can't wait to see the fort when completed.
Also here in Arkansas we are in a massive drought sooo no fire! So watching the processing of wood and fire builds my spirit when i cant go. Hanging with friends
I know you think of Wolf as an "outdoor" dog but no reason he can't have some kind of waterproof/insulating layer between him and the earth. Beauty definitely would appreciate the same thing. Dogs like comfort same as you.
Have you considered getting Beauty some type of durable, insulated, heavy-duty dog coat? She may not have as much of an undercoat as Wolf does. I'd at least give it that a try before leaving her at home. Maybe then she could enjoy herself outdoors more. When she was lying down and curled up she was just trying to keep herself warm. Thanks for sharing your adventures with all of us.
The thing with poodles or “Pudelhunds” as they should be called, is they were bred for waterfowl retrieval, they are legit gun dogs, even a lot of the showlines, but you have to manage their coats properly. You want about a 1 inch coat on them to avoid it being both too short that theyre cold and too long that its annoying. They need to be moving as well, when stationary, time to get a coat on them or just wrap a blanket on them in camp and leave them too it. I have a poodle mix and she excels in the outdoors, i just have to manage her body temperature in the winter like you would manage all dogs in the heat if that makes sense!
Man, was laughing at the end! Beauty couldn't wait to get back to the truck, while Wolf... HA! He'd gonna be a great outdoor companion! Slow, but solid progress on that wall! Looking forward to see the final results.

I live in Vietnam! This place is so beautiful! I have a chance to play and make videos! I'm also a youtuber specializing in island survival

Have to also consider he's been doing this for almost 10 years, things get harder as you age
@@G_Rapids lol yeah it was just an observation.

Good tips for the winter. On this trip Beauty looked fine, if she was cold she would have been right next to the fire the whole time.
So good to see the Fort Project is back. You and Wolf seem to be in your element there.
You're quite literally reliving my childhood. I used to disappear into the woods behind our farm and build forts since I was probably 7 or 8...lol My dad would laugh about his girly tomboy.
The shot at the end from the end of the fort was PERFECT!! The fire reflecting on the walls and floor was so peaceful
The landscape is beautiful with the Fall colors. Watching the dogs play was so relaxing.
Love how the fort is coming along, and having both dogs together is an added bonus!
Loving these videos Joe. As an Australian, I especially like seeing it get colder there as it warms up here. I’ve only seen snow once in person.
Just like the old days Joe love the videos seeing you from the beginning love your family and your dogs here and beyond 🙏
Love to watch the videos of the fort. And so nice to see both dogs tagging along to experience the fort. Can't wait to see the improvements to it that you are planning.
Such a homey feel to that shot from the front, seeing you all past the fire. Warm. Peace!
It's nice to see Beauty out with you again. Wolf is pretty sure that he would have had a more positive experience if you had let him eat the steak.
Always look forward to an adventure with Joe, the woods,& the dogs.💯👍🏾🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
Both of those dogs are awesome, Joe. Nice to see that big, ol shelter. Such a woodsman! 👍😎🇨🇦🌲🪓🔥🐾🐾🌲

Nice!!! Perfect thing to watch after a long day!
Such great dogs!! You got a winner with Wolf! And beauty is just the sweetest thing ever ❤
I get to enjoy the outdoors by watching your videos.
The fort videos are my faves. From Ohio, USA.
Joe, great work on chopping that tree! Such a great time watching your fun day at the fort! Thank you for bringing us along!
Beauty is a gorgeous dog. Wolf is very utilitarian as he could carry gear along the way. But that pretty girl needs all the comforts of a princess
It’s great to see you doing what you love.. there is a new energy in your videos..
All things considered, the Dogs are a net plus. Great video, thanks for taking me along.

Get a small WOOL MAT for dogs to lay on. Keep them warm dry or wet.

Yes yes yes. Fort!!
Best videos out here

You always make me hungry
I really love nights at the fort. Thank u Joe.
I remember building forts like yours when I was a kid with friends. Nice
You're the best dog owner. Never feel bad. These dogs have primal urges that most owner deny them. You let them live a real life
I love your videos man, they are always a must watch.
One of your best posts in awhile, Joe. I greatly enjoyed all the "dog playfulness"!
Woo Hoo!! Love the fort!❤️❤️

Superbly
Brilliant and amazing

Looking forward to the next one!
Good to see Beauty can still stay in charge of that Wolf you let into the house ;) Can't imagine that will last much longer.
beauty is an awesome dog outdoors
Thanks Joe for yet another nice video. 👍😁
Cheers, great food, and no dishes to wash, perfect :-)
Awesome video . I’m sure the dogs enjoyed getting outside and running a bit . That steak looked delicious :)
With all of the craziness in the UK right now I think buying some acreage in Canada might well be the smart move.
Thanks for the videos Joe 📹 🙂
Love your video ❤️❤️❤️
Loving the dog content
I missed the fort my favorite.
I've missed seeing you at the Fort and having the pair of dog's with you is an extra treat
Awesome vid, love seeing the doggies out there!
Winter has arrived. Get that fort done.
