Merry Christmas!!! New Fort video up here, the next video I post is going to be a new years day special. Everyone have a great holiday, hopefully you can all be with family. Stay safe and we will see each other after the hollidays. Take care, from the Robinets.
Absolutely, it’s not smart to judge someone you don’t personally know but I can confidently say I believe he’s a pure one he’s funny and just a nice person been following for years and love the bush crafts in foreign land especially when he gets excited when he brings an ipa or two
Joe is like the best friend you would love to have. So humble, so talented, and so helpful! He's a great dad, and I'm sure he's a great husband too. I think we'd all like to tag-along with Joe on one of his camping adventures. It looks like so much fun!
Have you noticed he doesn’t have friends? He only hangs out with people to camp with and eventually they get sick of him. He seems narcissistic and prideful, annoying to be around I’m sure as he’s to used to talking to a camera. His marriage has lasted this long cause he’s gone so much I’d wager. I couldn’t imagine being married to such a messy, smelly, self centered guy that has zero life skills.
Not sure if anyone's answered this, but back bacon is called "peameal" because the coating traditionally was made with ground up yellow peas. Later on, corn meal was used as a cheaper substitute, but the name stuck.
And it's actually called peasemeal. It's ground up roasted yellow field peas. The coating that is. I've never seen peameal bacon before, living in Florida.
You have a really nice fort. No wonder you like it. You make interesting, informative, good videos. Impressive. Thank you. The best to you and your family.
Well Joe, as you look back on yesterday, may your past memories be remembered. As you celebrate the new year, may your heart be filled with endless happiness and joy as you look ahead to the future. May in the days ahead in 2021, I hope no matter where your friends or family may be, that your life is filled with the warmth of not only the sun but from those you cherish each day close and afar. May you have an awesome and wonderful New Year.
RUclips recently got rid of uploaded captioning (extremely unfortunate), he can only turn on youtubes rather awful attempt at auto generating it. Certainly better than nothing!

Invested in this fort series dude, I enjoy it thoroughly and it seems like it's something that doesn't break the bank / take a TON of time out of your life. Keep it up as long as you enjoy it and I'll keep watchin!
As far as your viewership picking up around this time of year. It's probably because it's starting to get cold and some of us are living vicariously through your adventures. Stay safe, stay healthy.
This is so awesome. My son and I started one just like yours in the summer. I installed the Dakota fire pit for inside - we wanted to winter camp for next year but be prepared. You’ve inspired us a lot brother. Cheers
Ah my Favorite President. 🥴🥴😂😂🤣🤣🤣 . Excellent Workmanship joe does with a slow and easy pace to give other's a chance to build when needed. Will be seeing more of these Fart i mean Fort Video's might get better idea's for my camp. Sbow covered forest are Beautiful for sure.
Okay joe hear me out, make a second roof that’s higher than your roof at the hole area facing at a 40 degree angle so that way snow won’t budge in and the smoke will be able to get out still
It's a fort, that he's having fun with. We all have ideas to make it long term, as does he. However the time spent and expenses needed make 'The fort' a very profitable yet low cost way of just being a kid. He knows this, and I respect it. If this was a long term legit shelter he wouldn't be trying tarps to a pallet 2 feet from the fire.
Have not a worry in your heart about whether or not we are enjoying the videos. I watch the fort posts over & over & over again I imagine right along with y'all how cozy & comfortable it is coming in from the outside & warming near the fire. I love your food shares. Looks just SO good. I love the weather, the laughs when there are other friends, the education about how to build things. ALL of it is good and I could watch all of you posts thousands of times. Thank You and your family.
Watching this entire series for the third time and it still hits the same. Love the progression type videos, seeing something be built or progress over time has a familiarity to it. This is my go to watch to have on in the background whilst working
Thank you Joe! I love these videos! My husband asks me why I watch them all the time. I said because I grew up camping in the woods and they are so relaxing to me. Thanks again!

Having said that, you are the one doing it and we're living the dream vicariously thru you, and that nobody has any right to criticize. Your work is very impressive and I've learned a lot and I hope I can try it myself one day. Mine will be a Florida fort, which will be very different. I'll invite you if I manage it.
Hey Joe... I rarely ever comment, but I had to today. I've watched every one of your videos and what keeps me coming back is your attitude! You love doing what you do and it shows. Keep it up and enjoy the ride!!
Happy Christmas, love the videos and they’ve been a great outlet while I’m recovering from COVID. Hope the family and you are all well, keep up the great content.
T.A Outdoors and Joe back to back!! What a wonderful Christmas Eve. Glad to see you finally got some snow to play in 😁❄️❄️❄️⛄️. Merry Christmas from my family to yours!!
Love all the videos! I especially love the winter ones because we don't get much snow here in Arkansas. I watch your videos over and over and enjoy them each time. Praying for you and your family. 😊
As I read the comments, I see so many folks giving detailed analysis of angles of pitch, material misplacement, use natural materials not tarps, build a chimney, etc. Joe has won. Its called a fort for a reason, because its a project to have fun and have an overnight, not survive a 6 month Siberian winter. My estimated cost for this fort? $30 in a couple tarps, a couple dozen nails, a piece of plastic, and an outdoorsmans priceless time. And he's gonna profit from views like a damn genius. I support every damn aspect.
Wonderful video Joe, so Very Happy I clicked on this. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Holiday Season!!! Incredible Fort, it's really A Beauty ❤❤❤❤
As long as he doesn't catch the tarp or wood on fire, as big as that fire and flame is. But, it would make a pretty decent temporary shelter in a pinch, until a more substancial shelter could be built. I know one thing, that food looks yummy!
This time of year everyone else is hunkered down and we rely on you to be out there having fun for us. In the summer, we enjoy the canoe trips. Stay safe. Hope Tripper is doing better ♡
Just watched the first season of "Alone" and was like... Hold on... I know that guy! had no idea you were on that show man lol. Merry Christmas to you sir, the pup, and the fam!
Looking good. That fort's got me nostalgic for my childhood; the other kid's in my neighborhood growing up and I have built all sorts of forts all around the woods around our houses back in the day. One thing I would suggest is to put a thin log or two across that roof opening, to add a bit of support for the tarp when it gets loaded down with snow.
It might be interesting to try and put a long “post” in that hollow crate with the brown tarp at one end. Then if you can dig a hole and secure that post, you can use that crate as a swiveling door.
Love the "fort" videos. You could try unrolling the extra tarp on top and string it up at an angle leaving a gap in the sleeping side to let smoke out. Support it with a couple logs and you wouldn't have to worry too much about sag from the snow weight.

Steve's in the process of building a series of shelters that run in between his homestead and the mountains to the west. He plans on having a shelter every 60 miles or 100 kilometers. Most American black people don't remember that song, but the most outdoorsy Canadian you ever did see belts it out perfect. One of the best parts of 2020.
Love you and your family Joe. Stay safe all of you this year. The design you are using for your "door" with the pallet, would also work as a removable cover for the roof, where the sagging tarp is. So a simple wood frame with tarp just to cover the roof hole, when you are not there. But I understand it's YOUR fort, and it's personal, so love watching you create from your own reasoning. Thank you. :)
