Bangers & Mash is mashed potatos and sausages served usually with a gravy and can also include fried onions and peas. Banger is a reference going back to WWI when there were meat shortages, the sausages were made with such a high water content that they were liable to pop under high heat when cooked. Anyways love the vids great stuff as always.

Damn it man. I can't believe I just found your channel. I have so much catching up to do. Absolutely love your videos! You share my heart and soul for a good dog, nature and the outdoors. I'm way down in Georgia but I spend as much of my life as I can in the woods, camping and fishing with my sweet 12 year old baby girl pit mix. She's been on hundreds of trips with me and she's reaching that "oh no" age but the memories made are irreplaceable and everlasting. I'm literally tearing up just thinking about it. I've dreamed of living off grid way up in Alaska or Canada for most of my life. Please keep up the awesome work, buddy!

I lived in New Mexico, near the 4 corners area from Oct 57 till Dec 65 when I was getting old enough (born in 48) to go hunting with my dad. Anytime we ran across a porcupine he told me to never shoot it. I don't know if it was against the law or not, but I seem to remember dad saying it was. He said they were so easy to kill that they were reserved for people lost in the woods needing to find ANYTHING to eat. So, while I have come across many porcupines, I have never killed one. I found it strange that anyone could get lost where I grew up on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains in northern New Mexico. I learned in grade school that while New Mexico was the 6th largest state in the USA, which had (at that time) a population of 180 million, only about 1 million lived there, mostly in the Rio Grande (west of the Mountains) and Pecos River (east of the mountains) watersheds. I lived near the tributaries in the San Juan River watershed in the northwest part of the state. When Alaska became a state, New Mexico shrunk to being the 7th largest state.
