Are you okay? Is everything fine? If you need a break from videos it's okay no problem at all take as long pause as you need to recover if needed we will still be here to watch your videos game development is hard and for those who never try it or do it can't imagine just how complex it is I wish you the best of luck
Looks really good, man. Seems to control pretty well by the looks of it. One day I'll need to learn how to do driving mechanics too, as my game will have a chapter where you'll have to drive from one place to another. Hope it's not too difficult to do haha!
Great work bro this type of work from a personal point of view I can only dream about creating but I appreciate those that put work in this and that can do it Remember to always stay indie if you ever develop a game we all know what those publishers and big companies do to they're employees I am saying this because I know you're capable of creating amazing games and this in terms of what you will create in the future is nothing compared to what you will make, never forget your potential and motivation for retro style games bro you're already in the loop of creating something outstanding I may not have the practical work but I know some information going at it all the time in the past in terms of theory and after years of research well after finding out that programming just simply isn't for me there had to be an end to it since I am overly too creative but next to nothing in terms of logic and coding things without no example in front of me I know just how much hell games development is for me personally it killed more dreams then it was successful sadly and that's where I realized my limit but you can do it and I wish you the best For myself I just play games nowadays and love watching videos like this where you are happy and the viewers are too Everyone is good in something else I can't really imagine sitting in an office all day so I took the "healthy" option and now I focus on things where I can move more so I guess I grown up out of it even though it was the first job I ever wanted to do since about 7 years old and now at 23 years old nothing much has changed except I just play games now I still love the PS1/PS2 and other old games in fact I still have the consoles kept ^_^
@@Marcis. I have made one small game prototype with the built in vehicle system and would love to hear what you did different with your system. Would be a great topic for a video if you'd like to talk about it ;).
Hey do you think you can do detailed tutorials on some of these dev logs and also on psxfx? Ik you already did one on psxfx, but I would really love another tutorial explaining more.
It can be very motivating to look back at how much has changed over time... or depressing...

@@Markhoss Everything's fine! I like making videos. I'll just upload one when I'll have something to show.
Thank you!
I can really feel the grip and weight of the new car just by watching. 👌

Thanks! It's not too bad. Tinkering is the key.

For myself I just play games nowadays and love watching videos like this where you are happy and the viewers are too

Thanks!
The PS1/PS2 generation is my favorite too!
I occasionally play some PS1 games.
Looks pretty cool. Are you using Unreal's wheeled vehicle component for this?
Thanks!
No, this is a custom made vehicle handling system.

Como haces para que el auto tenga una sombra cuadrada

I'm not planning to make tutorials in the near future. If you need help with PSXFX you can join the discord server.
Name car what?
in short how did you make the car eat corners better? that'd be cool to know thanks unreal default car sucks
By increasing tire friction. Messing with the center of mass and gravity settings.
its look like Driver or Gta 👍
Handling realístic pls, GTA IV style
Handling in GTA 4 isn't realistic nor fun! I remember installing handling mods just so I could play it properly.
