I’ve used the Chinese crunchy noodles instead of the Rice Krispies and switched out the white chocolate for butterscotch. It made them look like egg nests for Easter
Don't you just love it when Thomas finds a recipe for you to try! 😋 He actually finds some good recipes! 🤗 These cookies look amazing! ❣️ Definitely going to try them! I love how you give us such great and easy recipes. 😉 You're just making this way too easy for us! ☺️ Thanks for sharing another great recipe and thanks to Thomas for finding it! 🥰
Our son-in-law really likes peanut butter cookies, and he really likes rice krispie treats!! You have managed to blend them together for a treat he will absolutely love❣ and scrolling thru the other comments I've seen some great add-in recommendations: salted peanuts, pretzels, etc... 😋👍
I just came across this recipe not sure how I missed it! My husband loves rice krispies and peanut butter these work be a fun treat to make him. Thank you Catherine for another fun video. 😊
We make something similar .. using captain crunch cereal ! Also have used coco pebbles and they all are good ! I’ve also used almond bark , and done the same way as you !! We call them Cereal Treats ! Great for kids , or parties, bake sales ... because it makes a lot ! We use the whole block of almond bark , 1 Cup P.Butter, whole box of cereal and what ever marshmallows you want !! Delicious !! 👍
I'm making these asap lol. I absolutely love this recipe. I have everything in my pantry and can't wait to try them. Every single recipe you post is amazing. I just made both the John Wayne Casserole and the Strawberry Delight Saturday night. Delicious!! I've made the pistachio fudge and coconut cream poke cake. I will be making the broccoli rice casserole and Frito pie this week. I cannot thank you enough for giving me inspiration to start cooking again. I love everything about your videos. You're the best!! 😊
My boss brought these in years ago and I loved them so much I started making them every year. It's nice seeing how everyone else makes them. I'm going to try making them in a brownie pan this year and then cutting them into squares.
They really look so so good.l love all those flavors. I'm sure gonna make these cookies.l love all your recipe's Catherine. Thanks and God bless and your husband.keep cooking!!
Hello Catherine 😊 these cookies are so easy and delicious.great for summer days when you don't want to heat up the oven.thank you so much.hv a great day family 💖 many good wishes and God's blessings to you all 😇💖💖
What a wonderful easy recipe! These cookies could also be "themed" for special holidays, birthdays, baby showers, just by adding to the top some sprinkles. There are so many styles and colors and shapes to choose from. Great video, what fun!! Thanks for sharing! :)) Will be making these for sure!!:))
Thanks Thomas for this idea! Looks good & one of those easy recipes. May add some M&M's, could add almost any little candies you have on hand. Thanks Catherine.
Oooh this looks so good! I will make this too, like many other recipes from you. Yes, this is the only way I melt chocolate. Its always perfection. Any 4 ingredients using condensed milk? 😋 Thank you Catherine, for all you do bringing us these amazing & Delish recipes ❤🤗🌻
I just made these by scavenging through my cabinet and using what I have on hand. But I will definitely try the full authentic recipe as you describe it as soon as I have those ingredients in the house! Meanwhile here's what I did... My ingredients are: Two cups of Rice Krispies 1/3 cup of cashew butter Two cups of mini marshmallows Approx 1 1/2 white chocolate chips, 1/2 cup butterscotch 2/3 cup of slivered almonds I'm looking forward to experimenting with other flavor chocolates, adding perhaps flavored extracts such as almond, orange, and even vanilla. And also experimenting with different size and types of nuts! I'm just waiting for this current batch to cool!! 🥰🤤😱
That’s a keeper recipe. How about coco pebbles, Chocolate bark, marshmallows and crunch peanut butter and dash of vanilla. Or add nuts, peanuts or cashews. Or coconut and marschino cherries with the krispy cereal .
Oooh! Maybe some pistachios added to this version. I wonder if sunflower seed butter would make more of a snow colored cookie. I'd try milk chocolate morsels and add a sprinkle of toasted sliced almonds - less of a cookie more of a candy. Or add some Heath toffee bits for crunch. Catherine, my brain is in a whirl thinking of little variations. Maybe change up the rice cereal for multi grain Cheerios in the white chocolate version. Original Special K has the same texture as the crispiest but in a "flake" form so, that might work too. I see lots more cereals n chocolate n mini mallow combos in my future, lol! Thanks for another fun kitchen adventure, Catherine! 💜🍪
Hey Catherine I am going to try the chocolate rice crispys and instead of peanut butter I will try Nutella. And since I'm a chocolate lover semi sweet chocolate chips. Yum too. 😉
Oh wow! This looks so simple. Even a guy could do it! Lol! I’m thinking that it needs some salted peanuts added to the mix as well! Thanks for the recipe!
This looks great! I am not a fan of white chocolate so maybe I could rename it mud puddle and use semi-sweet chocolate chips! LOL Anyway I would add peanuts and some mini chocolate chips to the cereal mixture. I have to try this. Thank you!
Forgot to add that my recipe calls for peanuts. I use salted. Gives it a bit of a crunch. Also I use all kinds of different cereals. Make the recipe stretch further as Rice Krispies are so small also use a block of almond bark instead of chips. Mostly what ever works for you.
