Mick Taylor Band - Live in Concert 1995
Probably one of the best guitarists of the 20th century !
Mick IS a Rolling Stone, even way before he joined the band, that's when that band was on fire
Excatement vrai
The best guitarist in the history of the Rolling Stones.
Nope. Though he had his moments, his playing was too limited to remain with the Stones.
@@rhymeswithteeth What ??? ahahaha
@@danb8891 I know right? LOL Mick Taylor was the best for the Stones.
@@rhymeswithteeth : It s so ridiculous statement for one of finest guitarists in rock / blues genre. Taylor sweet guitar pasages made Roling Stones record several the best RS albums. If anyone was limited as guitarist, it was Ronny Wood and even more Brian Jones.
@@vincepetrovic8700 Mick Jagger (and Keith Richards) know a good guitarist when they hear one. Mick Taylor was good for the time he was in the Stones but, due to his limited style of playing, he wasn't a guitarist that the Stones could go forward with. Maybe you don't like ANY of the music the Stones have produced since they got rid of Mick Taylor, but that might just be an indication of YOUR limited perspective with regards to music.
Mick Taylor! Definitely one of greatest guitar players of all time !
that´s right
He sure is.👌👌🎸🎸
Blackmore beck too
Tout à fait d'accord fait partie des plus grands guitaristes dans le monde Les stones ont perdu gros quand il est parti
Of cause Mick is great, but what a amazing solid band as well !
i'm not even two minutes in and that was the best blues have ever heard maybe
MICK TAYLOR, MAKING THAT GUITAR TALK,YOU GOTTA MOVE,MAN THAT GUY,WELL I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS AN EQUAL.HE MAKES IT LOOK EFFORTLESS AND, IT CERTAINLY IS NOT,BLESS YA MICK TAYLOR, STILL ROLLING,YOU ARE THE BEST!Walter B,Memphis
all musicans with MT are great too. thanks it's awesome and brilliant concert
He is what made the Stones "the Greatest Rock "N Roll Band in the world" during the Mick T years. he never gets boring or repeats himself. One of the greats.
Celebrating 60 years Rolling Stones this summer - but we missed the survivors: Mick Taylor and probably Bill Wyman, too.
MT is one of my fav guitarist and he brought an excellence to the Stones but what made them the greates Rock & Roll band is Mick & Keith's song writing. M Taylor was playing Keith's guitar licks and after he left that is mostly what he continued to do, play Keith's songs.
@@alrosenblum2274 of course they would still be great. I just love that time period the most.
@@mizzo9 No doubt. Exile on Main Street is an unbelievable collection of songs
Lucky to see this great musician in John Mayall's band pre-Stones...Always been great!!
Wow! Mick and Snowy together! Both make the guitar sing. Together, they're like the sweetest dessert you've ever had.
Mick Taylor Band what a wonderful band. Great! For sure I knew Mick Taylor but nothing about this superband with him playing and singing so good. .
The great Snowy White, a Peter Green disciple, and his beloved '57 Goldtop on Little Wing, circa min. 40. His vocals are patented Snowy. Maybe the best "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" I have ever heard! Killer band!
Alcides, I second that emotion. Even after just the opening number he's already given a master class in brilliant playing.
Just found this clip nice diversuon from todays trash still every generation has its music cant see stormzy around in 40 yearss!! Thanks for post .
Mick Taylor and Snowy White .... great
What a superb band Mick has around him. Absolutely mesmerizing music. The icing on the cake, is that lovely, slender girl, lost in a reverie, dancing all by herself ...
He is a rea good blues player, and I never knew what a great slide player he is. The band as a whole is fantastic with superb musicianship from all. Love those keys. Rock on Mick.
Thanks John Mayall who have discovered Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Taylor with the Bluesbreakers
Indeed!
Three of the best and bluesiest of the British guitarists
Indeed but pretty sure Clapton played with the Bluesbreakers after Cream so I don't think you can say that he was discovered by John. Thanks should also go to Alexis Korner.
@@Kim-the-Dane-1952 Clapton joined Mayall in 1965. CREAM was not formed until late 66' at which time Greeney took over as guitarist with BB.
RIP John Mayall.
The musical craftsmanship we see here, is of a very high order. Really a superb band.
Agree, and very well said "of a very high order". Mick was my favorite guy player growing up with my Ibanez.
Anyone that has ever played with Mick Taylor should consider themselves rather lucky .
Always loved Micks tone especially on "get yer ya ya's out". Hearing Mick with a Hammond B-3 is such a treat !
Mick shows up dressed like a British banker, and then proceeds to pin your ears back with some of the best blues guitar you will ever hear. Talent, doesn't even describe it. Its a gift that
just flows out of him like water.
Totally down to earth cool guy. I taped him twice in Florida but he still hung out with me after both shows. Two blues men one to another! My bro!
Please don't compare Mick Taylor to a banker, British or otherwise
he was the best guitarist guitar player the stones ever had. they were called the greatist rock and roll band in the world when he was with them!
MICK TAYLOR gehört zu der LIEBLINGSGARDE meiner Favoriten... und ich schwelge bei diesen schönen Tönen.
That's what's good about exceptional guitar players. There are many, but it's like someone's writing. All are different thank God, but it doesn't take long to recognize who's playing. Just like it is with Mick.
Mick Taylor just seems to hit the notes you want to hear. Of course he is a great blues player. With a career decision to walk away from the stones, you really know the blues.
Same as Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac after he left his solo albums were full of Snowy White licks...when all else fails get in Snowy White..just ask Roger Waters lol ;)
agree
For sure. Mick Taylor has been feeling very blue since being a member of the Rolling Stones. Good thing for the Stones that he was replaced when he was. You can only go so far with the blues and Taylor's sound.
@RaJu ViMa That comment was too clever for me too.
Um, "Career Decision" doesn't make it a GOOD career decision.
Soooooo smooth . One of the best guitar players with a real feel for the music.
Happy Birthday Mick We love you in Germany
My dormitory and class mate from School told me that he thinks the Rolling Stones were the best with Mick Taylor, his favourite Stones era.
That was in response to me telling him that Mick Taylor grew up in the same street as me, in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
And he should know as he became the Boss of Parlophone after Sir George Martin.
smooth lines, clean and emotive - lotta skill and respect to the tradition shown here.
Talent plus technique avec une âme profonde. Mick Taylor est un pur virtuose, inspiré par les Dieux du Blues
There's so much music. How could I possibly ever do that, without your help.
Can’t You Hear Me Knocking has never ever been done better , some how that doesn’t surprise me.
Happy bday Mick, thanks for your music!
Damn, this is one sweet gig, I could leave it on in the background all day
Yes and the next few days after that . Good to read your comment , I thought I was one of a dying breed . God bless man .
Technically flawless, musical, great feel and tone. A brilliant musician and another exceptional guitar player from England. Beck for me is the most dynamic but Mick is up there, absolutely.
Un plaisir ET une joie d'entendre Mick Taylor
No wonder the other guitarist was impressing the hell out of me . . . Snowy White. Another master.
In my view mick Taylor's guitar work is among other great players. Personally I rank him in the top ten along with Jimi and Clapton.
Me too mate.
And Rory Gallagher,too !...
We´re talking about music, not about athletics in terms of who is faster, stronger or better. Why do you guys always try to compare or set up a top ten list? Isn´t it enough to say that you simply like him?
I'm agree
Peter Green too
Don't forget te best Fleetwood Mac...
My favorite Stones albums all feature Mick Taylor.
Mick Taylor elevated the Rolling Stones. They are now their own tribute band.
DANKE ..!
Mick a masterclass musician of all time!!!
Excellent recordings!!! MT is one of my all time favourite guitarists!
Mine too.
I have many guitar heroes. The ones I wish I could play like are Mick Taylor and Jeff Beck. If I think about it enough, I would love to have the ear and taste Mick Taylor would be the best of the bunch. Jeff Beck is so creative, but Mick plays so damn nice it hurts. He never misses a note. It all sounds perfect. Mark Knopfler also is great but Mick is a virtuoso without the flash. It's just where it's supposed to be. He is not overplaying ever. All the other examples of Guitar Gods do that about half of the time. It's just basic stuff and making good choices. He does it ALL THE TIME. His style in my mind is based on perfect pitch and timing and phasing. His tempo seems perfect too. If you listen to others performing his songs no matter, who does it is a huge letdown. To say I am a fan or admirer is not doing him justice. And nobody knows who he is. There is hope for all the great people out there that don’t get heard.
Love the guitar in this. Classic Mick Taylor. This is the first I've ever seen this. I love it he sounds so good
Snowy White is very good too and has his own style. Enjoyed the very last solos by him and Mick.
mr Taylor plays blues fantastic&snowy is yes i liked this feeeeel!thank you Melody Heart nice name!
That's a true love of the sound pure magic
Great to see Mick and Snowy together. Both amazing. And the others too
Hats downs and thumbs up to the whole band.
A true Blues Masterclass...
He was the master at 20 years old so after that I guess everything is just arrived
Well he is good, I think he's fantastic but They all are..I would say none are better than the other. All are great in the way they play so let them all be number 1...and all are great.
I'd rather be happy than miserable and rich. He needed to be on his own. He's so good.
Love his feel and tone.
Far and away the best I've ever heard him play.
I saw Chris Jagger, brother to Mick in the Fly By Nite Club, Freo, and boy he and his band can mix it. He mentioned his brother just once. Said Hi after the show. Very nice cool guy. Oh yeah, Taylor has a great blues style don't he?
It's phenomenal 🎸♥️💫🌟 Thank you ! Yeah ♥️🎸 Mick Taylor ♥️
12/20/2022,,,Outstanding Musician and Glad He's still jamming at 73 yrs gone🎸
Great Taylor... The Best...
He doesn't need the stone's. The stones need him. Great fucking sound.
Great band. Jeff Allen on drums and Snowy White on guitar!
Snowy est merveilleux
one of the all time greats !!!!!!!
+tr!!!
Man, I love this guy.
ever meet him.....i met him in nj...1999.....amazing guy
@@johnscialfa7391 No! I wish. The closest I came was yelling out a "Hi!" at the Living Room in Providence, RI a long time ago. He at least turned and waved on his way back to the dressing room.
@@ericanderson9012 Eric I saw him in 1999 at the Trump Marina in Atlantic City.I was watching the band set up before the show I turn around and bump into him before the show. We chatted for about 10 minutes and he invited me to come and hang out with them after the show. I hung out with him and about five or six other fans for about 2 hours just drinking scotch and talking.the most humble and polite guy you'll ever want to meet it was an amazing experience.
@@johnscialfa7391 Wow - that sounds really cool.
@@johnscialfa7391 I would love to meet mick taylor you are lucky to have met him.
With Snowy White it's a good band !
Musik, wie ich sie LIEBE.... DANKE schön...
Always been a MT fan. This band as a whole is very good...other guitar, drummer, bass, etc. It could be MT alone on an acoustic guitar and I'd like it. This video really is great. Thank you.
Love you Mick. Very few guitarists have the frequency of the universe but you have it in your soul🇮🇪
Great sound that's how a guitar should taste .
Taylor rules.
great guitar slide man !!! gran saludo mick taylor !! desde argentina
Exceptional talent !!!!
Always had a great guitar sound and great hair.
Entre los diez más grande guitarristas de todos los tiempos ....saludos Mick Taylor 🎸🔥🙏 desde Argentina 🇦🇷👏
Mick Taylor is a great talent and he can surround himself with talent also
Superb blues interpreter!
Thanks for posting this! A true great technician. FYI - Snowy White the other guitarist is also excellent. Saw him with a three man band and he wailed all night long.
My thoughts exactly...even before i read your comment...he is brilliant!!
Thanks for this great video witch was not recorded at Paris New Morning but in Geneva at Arthur's Club as displayed at the end of the video.
"witch"?
I do love this brilliant.
Wow.. this is damn great blues live ever👏👏
Splendido live concert con strumentisti di alto livello.
Cudowny Mick Taylor! Wspaniały gitarzysta. A jaki był piękny ,jako młody chłopak. Jak bóg Apollo!
We went to the Ricky Tick Club in Hounslow to see John Mayall and Peter Green and found that he had just departed and it was Mick Taylors first week in the job. Not a parch on Peter Green and Eric Clapton, both very, very hard acts to follow, but without a doubt, he has improved over the years. The hairstyle more or less the same though from back in the late 1960's. A hell of a lot more then I have. LOL
Saw him live in Oakland, California, back in early 1980's. What an underrated guitarist!
Shook me all life long.... Still shaking..
Il migliore di tutti goduria per le orecchie viaggi sonori infiniti grande carica sesso in musica allo stato puro grazie di esistere Mick !
Still need to thank the Stones for introducing this incredible Blues Guitar Master to us all. Remember the Stones started out bringing us to the blues in the first place.
Steve Reed : John Mayall gets the thanks for Mick Taylor !!!!!
A nice reminder exactly why for a brief few years in the 1970's the Rolling Stones ACTUALLY were the world's greatest Rock Band.
Thanks so much to have uploaded this great concert. Mick Taylor is among the best guitar players and bluesman of all time. I have no words to express my emotion when I saw this video for the first time. Thanks again, Melody Heart! It is a gifty for all people that love blues!
Alcides MFJr. I fully agree Alcides. Many thanks to Melody Heart!
Yes he is and has been a big influence on me. The first time I heard his playing was when my friends mom had Shine A Light playing and that solo grabbed me..I was 13 and had only been playing a year and now I am 29 and still like to go back and listen to my original influences.
+Alcides MFJr. Hendrix Vaughan Winter and Taylor...... Greatest blues lead guitatist ever
Roberto Provenzani I fully agree with you! These guys are Genius!
Taylor is like Hendrix or Vaughan..... Impossible to be better. Probably no one blues lead guitarist is better than Taylor
Mick Taylor and Snowy White are two of the finest English blues players and stand right next to Clapton and Green. And throw in Danny Kirwan.
Great🎸🎸🎸🎼🎼🎼
Blues So Sweet 👳🏻♂️👋🙏
I never realized how good of a voice he has! I knew he was a great quitar player! 🎸
Excelente Mick Taylor Band, sin duda uno de los mejores guitarristas de todos los tiempos.
Listen to Mick and Carla Olson do "Sway" live. AMAZING! Pure Les Paul bliss!!
And winter!!!
How in god's name can 66 people gives this a thumbs down? 🤦♂️
