Found this by listening to Dylan, Richards and Woods talking about Mick. This would have been a very cool show to see in a small club in NYC. Kudos to whoever recorded & posted it.

Very nice stuff! Thanks for sharing. Mick Taylor deserves his own place in the quirky ass R&R HOF and ranking as one of the top rock lead and blues guitarists of all time. I love the Stones, but know in my gut that MT got ripped by the Stones machine. Jagger and Richards should give MT 10+% royalties and or at least what other "official" band members got during his tenure. Really more bc MT was the most creative member behind Jagger and Richards. RIP Mr. Watts.

Great stuff here. I saw him about 6 yrs. later and it wasn`t good. He looked horrible, played 30 min. and later went to hospital. I felt bad for him and my short evening. That`s rock.
One thing about Taylor. Most of the time his eyes are on his guitar. Probably what makes him do good. Yeah Ronnie moves around and is very competent. But can't come close to Taylor's playing
Mick is multi dimensional. A mixture of all the best guitar sounds. He's one of the finest string benders I've ever heard but I've heard him play some very intricate fusion stuff with Jack Bruce..stuff that The Stones could never work out in a thousand yrs. His jazz inflections were the reason I bought Stones LPs('Cant You Hear Me Knockin?"). When he left them I quit listening to them. He's such a nice guy too.
This may be hard to believe but in 1975 at 17 years old I looked like him in his time with the stones a few years later my wingman was a dead ringer for 0zzy 0sborne man did we good with the ladies
I absolutely love this man and the way he plays guitar. I also had the privilege to meet him in person one evening in the late eighties. I was nervous as hell. But he was such a wonderful and kind person. A great memory that I’m so grateful for 🙏❤️🙏🫶🙌🤲🦋🪽🦋
Man it's always a treat to watch and listen to Mick play, and if it's Mick it has to be played loud, Mick and Snowy could have took the world by storm, those two were a better match on stage than Mick and Keith...
Did you get permission to record this from the artist and the venue? It strikes me as cruel irony that so many comments speak of Mick getting screwed out of royalties. So everyone is fine with this unauthorized recording, huh?
M T needs to play with the right kind of players because he’s a shy sensitive person…….and he doesn’t like to sing……I know his soul…….peace in the walleye
