- I went Thrifting up north to three stores was it any better than Toronto I think the pricing was better but I don’t think the quality was better or maybe wasn’t just an off day that’s a question that I need to find out.

I have quite a few silhouettes and when I spot them , it’s like hitting gold !
Karen know joke I have about 150 pair in a container under my bed , trust me I have A weakness for stilettos. I just don’t wear them anymore and GuessWhat!!!! today I was out and I bought another pair of pink ones brand new though why I don’t know I’m thinking of returning them I had up to 350 pairs down to 150 I need to get rid off those once as it is🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️I don’t work anymore this is what I do now . When I paired them down I picked my very favourites well how can 150 be my favourites??! lol . I have a A true fetish for stilettos. One day I’ll show on my RUclips . Not to talk highly about myself but I had a great set of legs so I wore nothing but dresses and stilettos, I was in corporate sales for most of my life . I just use my best asset . 💗🍃🌸
You could make a "house spice" you use on a regular basis and keep it in a decorative shaker. I use garlic powder, onion, season salt, paprika, etc, mix all together.
The orange plate and bowl look like Noritake. I have 3 saucers like this. They are pretty. About $20 each here in Colorado.
I thought of that too ,,that’s funny but then I thought I got enough stuff on my counter I have one with a sterling silver lid that I use for hot peppers flakes🌸🍃💗 great minds think alike

Night gowns are gorgeous.
One was too small in the bust and the other one was too big, but they were beautiful.
At my farmhouse bedroom I have around 50 silhouettes on the wall. Love the way they look. Good choice sweetie, enjoy.

I have used tea cups, pearls, vintage hats and gloves on a 4 1/2' Christmas tree...along with little tea canisters and accessories. Just open a cupboard door it's full of fun things.

Yeah I have two and actually I found out later on I have three when I use for storing Christmas decor in because the little breakable stuff and one I have in my living room and I store like extra candles and things like that and the 3 one is in my bedroom and I keep my costume brooches in it. They’re great cause they just look like a book💗🍃🌸

When I have an odd salt shaker or pepper shaker without a mate I use it as a cinnamon shaker because some people like cinnamon in their coffee or maple sugar is good too!! I enjoy your channel.
Hi yes , I have a few of them. I like that as well. I have one with pepper flakes, one with cinnamon and a different kind of salt that I like a lemon pepper one. ♥️🌸🐦⬛

Love going thrifting with you. Also, love your sweater. I bought a cardigan with a pretty flower mitif and t-shirt that looks like long John top, also with a delicate flower motif. I haven't been thrifting in a long while. It was good.

That cut little salt shaker you thought was nice reminds me of a single one similar to that that I stick old stick pins in. I have also used single ones to put bath powder in.

The 2 pics in your cart , I think, are from the 20's 30's. That motif was very big then. They are a big collectible with people here in U.S. that collect that era.

I really like the silhouettes. They will look nice just about anywhere in your home. I haven't been thrifting lately, other than a quick trip to Goodwill. Maybe my next day off!

I went thrifting yesterday
Found a few nice things but only brought back a sweet little pottery piece and a nice new shower curtain. I was surprised to find that the pottery piece was made in Japan, it was in such perfect condition.

No wonder you thrift shop! I had no idea how expensive it is to live in Canada!! I don't understand it. Even here in the Us housing price is outrageous in the Liberal Blue cities while other cities are not. You certainly have great variety and such a large thrift store to explore. I love watching you and love your home...minus the plants, I kill every one I get.
Yes it’s very expensive in Canada and our taxes are crazy too . Homes in my neighbourhood starts for a small house for about 1,800,000 and up to probably 6 million 3 blocks west of me start at 4 million up to 10/12 million A small condo starts at about 750,000 like 500 ft.² . But also I really enjoy thrifting I’ve really not sold on all the stuff that’s coming in from all these foreign countries it seems cheaply made to me . So I would rather hunt for something old and make it new again. Just better quality all the way around.
@@mamabrooke OMGosh!! I live in a rural city in Kentucky and I love it. I know an apartment complex Where they have !bed room for $750 per month that has big rooms open floor plan in the kitchen living room are. But the best part is that all the utilities are included and also the internet. It has almost no violent crime, descent schools. I moved here from St. Louis and i love it here, it's home. Maybe your friend should have looked a little south in US.
Well you need a green card or residents to live in this state if you’re Canadian and vice versa 🤷🏼♀️ you know we are sister Country at so many thing but we are only allowed 182 days / 1/2 a year in America a year that’s why so many Canadians go to Florida for the winter but they still have a home here in Canada .

Brooke, I was watching another You tuber Alexandria Gaiter who is also from Toronto she went in Value Village looking for ornate frames for her latest redo I swear it was the same one you go too most often. I had a chuckle I never remember her going in those stores before. I would have jumped on the black capped chickadee watercolor as I love bird art. I liked the black and white pictures and the yellow sweater some of those tea cups were really sweet . Enjoyed this latest video
Yes I believe her studio is really close to that Value Village on Rogers Road I go to the one on Bloor st mostly, she has a fabulous team of people I’ve seen in value Village a few times . 🍃🌸

Sometimes it's a good thing that you didn't get great things so far away from you. Once i scored a few great pieces of jewelry about 40 minutes away. Then I had such bad fear of missing out. After about the 3rd time of going and not finding anything I was like ok, I was just lucky that one time, I don't need to keep coming all this way.
I just enjoy going and over the years I’ve gotten so many fabulous thing . But now it’s a fade and and there’s professional pickers now that make the Circuit daily 🍃🌸

Not in my budget these days for sure. Someone in the shop has those silhouettes you bought for abt $40 so you did good. 😍 You know what I find …. cats😂 lots and lots of cat stuff😂 I’m abt to make a cat display lol

I have a small one in my bedroom 19 inch but I don’t watch too much sometimes I watch RUclips on it,It’s a smart TV and I got it for $69 on Black Friday 5 years ago in the Dominican and brought it home in a suitcase 😂
