Not supposed to plant until after Mother’s Day I was a flower designer for 40 years. God has given me that gift. I have never taken a class. I’m retired now and disabled. I do miss it and I love gardening too.
Thank you for this enjoyable garden experience. I did buy 2 hostas in Lowes with large stalks that will flower, larger pot, and 5 hydrangea's in blue. So much to choose from in this greenhouse. I did get inspired watching you shop and your ideas. Love you and your videos.
What a gorgeous plant shop !I woulld go crazy in there ! I went out & bought quite a few yesterday & stored them in my hot tub room ! Too cold to plant up here ! Love all the neat places you are sharing with us ! Thank you so much Brooke !
Amazing garden store. Nothing even close to that size near me. I would visit every few days just to stroll through. The furniture is beautiful but the price was very expensive. Our summers are long and hot. It takes its toll on outdoor furniture.
Yes I didn’t have room last year to save I saved the big plants as they cost more . I give my ferns away to Allen gardens as o can’t keep them either I need a green house lol , loves have a fabulous day 🌺🌸🍃

Wow, that greenhouse is awesome! Ostrich ferns are my favorite but it's too hot down here to grow them. I hope you find some for your front garden. I'll enjoy them vicariously.
I laugh at Aldi self checkout. Many of us are lined up and just wait for a cashier. Perhaps to keep the job losses down. These stores save a ton of money with self checkout and PEICES STILL WENT UP ALOT. Who are they kidding? Oh well, thanks for taking us all along. 💕
Well, I’m against it because yes, when it does take jobs and two they’re not give me a kickback for doing all this work myself before there was full service. They bagged your groceries. They carried them out to your car now they don’t do anything, and the prices are astronomical maybe old school, I don’t know.🌸🍃🩷

Since I was a “kid” we had Plant World where I live and they had everything like this centre….but a couple of years ago after a 100 years a condo is going up ugh!!!! So now I go to a garden centre near the VV on Islington….but I also near me found this Asian variety store with a nice small garden centre and I buy my 6 Boston Ferns there, huge and healthy for 16.99…. This year I’ll see how much???

I have some of those lilies, yellow ones in the shade, they get a glimpse of sun in the Summer maybe, and they are doing really well. They were already planted here when I moved in 14 years ago :) I have another lily facing the South side w a lot of sun, I planted it there, it blooms and is doing ok I think. If you love lilies, if you do some research, maybe you find ones that will work for you. Reminds me I don't have hostas and want one. It is time to get one :) Such a wonderful garden center... I have never seen so many ferns together, anywhere :))

Morning Brooke 👑 🐝 I'm wanting to do a hosta garden too this year. Easy to care for and you can split them down the road. Careful with the white feather hosta, I had one and the squirrels ate it ..and it wasn't cheap. Have a great day ✨️🌞🌱🌸🌺
Omg 😳 the squirrels moved all my tulips around last year, little brats lol I’m looking for easy care too and it’s north facing and nothing grows well there to shaded . I just bought 2 bleeding heart yesterday 🌸🍃🌺
@Mama Brooke love bleeding hearts. They are another plant that keeps on giving. Depending on your variety, they can seed new baby plants, and you can split them. Have you seen the white bleeding heart yet? Absolutely beautiful and delicate. Can't wait for consistent temperatures so we can do all this🌱✨️🌞🪴🍃💕
Brooke What a wonderful greenhouse. So many great plants and accessories. It would be very dangerous for my pocketbook to shop there. I love the First Dance Hosta. I haven’t found The curly fries hostas. It is hard to find. I finally found it online but they are sold out😒 Coleus is a favorite plant of ours and those lobelia hanging baskets were absolutely gorgeous 💜 If you were here I give away a ton of ostrich ferns because they really multiply. I loved the walk through the greenhouse. Beautiful kitties. Love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️
@@mamabrooke Im surprised, my last 2 have been perfectly moist and not burnt, I used to make them in those bread tins, but my last 2, I made in a pyrex casserole dish if you can believe it and they turned out perfect. It only took me 50+ years to figure out how not to burn them and be raw inside. LOL but I adore banana bread, I even added an extra banana to the box mix, used milk instead of water and butter instead of oil.♥

It’s gonna be hit and miss for me to keep it growing here because it likes I think zone seven and up and I’m a six but I’m gonna try to baby it over the winter and see what happens. Fingers crossed.🍃🍃🍃
Hi. I m in zone 7 in the US and I have a perennial fern called the Japanese painted fern that comes back every year. It's not a fast grower but every year it does come back bigger. I don't dig it up but I do mulch it in the winter cause it does dies back. Maybe you can try that one. I think it's hardy to zone 6

I went plant shopping and got a peace lily sensation ..nearly 4ft tall and a palm 4 ft tall both $30 each..all plants were 50%off.. gorgeous 🪴
