It's difficult to listen to this song and not get teary a bit. This is also my favorite track by them so far. It won't be everyone's fav but I love the emotion from all of them in this. It's raw and special. Great music.

I never expected you to react to "Life". This video is from the live broadcast on August 22, 2020. The live is a return live after maternity leave of Dr.Muratatam. This "life" is a song that the members played for her as a return. I think it's wonderful you guys responded honestly to such videos. Awsome!!
This one tears me up every time! Tamu 💕 I'm so happy I have a signed photo of her, she's such a great drummer and seems to be an amazing person. They dedicated this video to her and her newborn.
And to make that even more awesome and emotional, this Song is actually meant as a warm musical „welcome back“ for their drummer Tamu who came back right before that show after being absent due to her maternity leave. That song is honestly one of the few songs that get me emotionally every single time. It’s basically this one and jee veerey and yaad by Bloodywood. Asia’s got some emotional ass songs.

This is my favorite song of theirs by a lot. I like the screaming she dose and my preference for rock over metal is showing but this is just beautiful.
Mayu has no rivals, her vocals are so versatile, almost beyond belief, this band is truly world class, they're in my top 2, I cannot wait to see them grow in the future.

Life is a powerful song. Miyu’s vocal melodies are fantastic, as always, and the lyrics are moving. I hadn’t seen this version with the subtitles and translation. Shout out to the translator, who did a great job. It is so difficult to translate Japanese lyrics to anything comprehendible in English, and this translation even fits into flow of the song. They were very popular within the jazz fusion scene and a lot of their songs inspired a lot of jazz fusion musicians after them.
I'm not real clear on the whole story of this song. But I do know that it's dedicated to their drummer for something she had gone through recently exactly, what exactly I have no idea, but but you can tell it meant a lot to them by their reactions.

I was kind of getting annoyed at first because it seemed like you weren't really watching the performance and noticing the body language that was going on, with all of them facing Tamu, and Mayu singing directly to her, and Tamu trying hard not to lose it. I was like, WATCH THE VIDEO, because it looked like you were kind of grooving to the music with your eyes closed and missing what was actually happening, but by the end it was obvious that Alan for sure caught on. This one gets me every time. I love this band.

Nemophilia have few videos that aren't great. Life is powerful, emotive, sadness ..tinged with a growing hopefulness, strength/determination; and it's performed skillfully by each of them on fire having some great synergy within the studio. I'd recommend (not the newest, but an unexpected sound of old and new classic melodies, vocals heartfelt and raw edged at times ..the other ingredient to a G&T cocktail alongside Nemo-s Life - IMHO) _Drop's - Kowashite (Destroy)_
Others have explained why they facing and singing too Tamu. So Tamu auditioned for Yoshiki, for his Lady X Japan project and she played an X Japan song. Talk about confidence!! She also has been the drummer on an X Japan project by Daisuke Kurosawa. They are covering X Japan songs, very well. Plus she seems to be a very good cook from her RUclips videos. You guys haven't commented on Hasuki's 7 string?!?!
