So what I am hearing is I'm never going to replace my leaky reservoir 😅. Mostly because wow - that's a lot of work and also, I tore my front bumper off years ago & it's being held on by zip ties and a prayer. Mechanics really don't get enough praise. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes, unfortunately you may not be able to repair it anytime soon unless you want to remove the zip ties and pray again.
Thank you. I appreciate it. If it is not you, then it is not you. It does take a lot of time and patience. Oh, and not needing the car for anything while you work on it.
If the barbs on the pump are busted, will that cause a leak? My tank hardly holds anything before It starts leaking (quickly at that). I hit a bird with my bumper, so it makes sense after you explained how force on the bumper could cause it to break.
Yes. If the barbs do break they typically break right at the top of the last one where the hose ends. It's so close to the bottom of the tank that you lose everything when it breaks.
I Thanks for posting this. I have a leak in my reservoir that only takes about 20 ounces before it starts leaking while I'm filling it. I figure it's probably got a crack. I like Honda but damn did they make replacing this thing a pain in the ass, lol, but after watching your video, I might give it a try. 👍😎👍
No problem. Glad to help out. 10:35 is an important part in the video. The barbs on the pump are known to break off. Save yourself some time. On the passenger side, pull back the edge of the bumper skin that's connected to the wheel well liner. Look to see if the barbs on the pump are broke off. If it's broke, then you know where the leak issue is. It can definitely appear to be overwhelming. Patience will go a long way on the this project. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks for filming this. Have a leak in my CRV windshield washer reservoir. I may ask a mechanic to do this now that I see how much work it takes.
if you have confidence, patience, and time you can do this. Well, you need some tools too. Good luck either way.
Great job . Well done, you . But i don't think that i will be doing mine 😮
