Battlefield 3 marked a turning point in the history of video games. With its near-perfect sound, music, atmosphere and simple, effective gameplay, it created an artistic abyss in the landscape of war games after its passage. Some people didn't notice it, others like me are traumatized by the games that followed.
I honestly believe that more ambient tracks like Tremors, Music Bazaar, Black Gold, AlBashir Strike as well as a few others, are some of the best songs in the game's soundtrack. More specifically stuff like Tremors especially. It really drops you right into this gritty, abandoned and desolate landscape which is very fitting when you realize where this track plays in the campaign.
By the way, list of songs for other devices: -Battlefield 3 Main Theme (00:00) -Close Quarters (01:55) -Thunder Run (03:30) -Fire From The Sky (06:21) -Kaffarov's Villa (09:27) -La Bourse (10:30) -Sharp Jet (11:23) -Epic Tank (13:09) -MMT (15:16) -Spark (17:26) -Frostbite Pillars (18:09) -Operation Metro (20:15) -End Game (22:18) -Tremors (23:57) -Music Bazaar (26:00) -Black Gold (27:12) -The Great Distroyer (28:33) -Bandar Music (30:56) -AlBashir Strike (32:07) -Choked (34:57) -Solomon's Theme (37:02) -The Death Of Vladimir (39:52)
Fantastic soundtrack, I really like the last two songs; Solomon's Theme and The Death of Vladimir, but also Thunder War and Epic Tank, are very powerful!
BF3 such a great and epic accomplishment no other first person military shooter had if I can only wished for a bf3 remaster instead of 2042 that is a embarrassment to the battlefield franchise
yea I say this same thing, all they had to do is do a remaster of the whole BF3 with maybe new maps and all that for next gen consoles revamping the UI graphics and all, and that would have been amazing but they screwed it up trying to make it for everyone and destroyed the basics of good ole Battlefield games, in fact DICE would have been spared if they would have never called this atrocity 2042 a battlefield sequel

Solomon’s theme is one of the best pieces of music in any game. The aura of danger and threat it gives is amazing.
should hear a theme for kjell
Nothing will top battlefield 3. Everything was perfect
BF4 is considered as BF3.5

bf3 has one of the best video game osts ive ever heard. the dirty synths, atmospheric drones, and distorted drums are so so cool. great stuff.
Solomons theme and the death of Vladimir are genuinely incredible electric guitar backing tracks i cant express this enough.
Yeah! In fact, these two songs are why I consider the BF3 soundtrack one of the best of its kind. It's unique.

I'm glad you like it! Yes, both songs are somewhat tragic, but very powerful!

There are very memorable pieces, but I really like "The Great Distroyer" sounds very "heavy" haha, like Black Gold, is excellent.
I'm glad you like it! Thanks for passing :-)

“Epic Tank” is definitely my favorite piece out of the sound track. Also used as the theme for Alborz Mountain…
