Everyone talks about his high basketball IQ, do they understand that IQ stands for intelligence quotient? Sure, he's had a few good passes but so have plenty of others. What actually constitutes someone having a high basketball IQ? MJ came out of retirement to a changed game. He played just as hard as ever but he played differently based on his physical ability at 40 and the changes the game had made. DeMar DeRozen said MJ on the Wizards was more dangerous than when he was on the Bulls. Why? High BBall IQ. He adapted his game so that even at 40 with only one good knee he was still able to produce a season that other players in their prime would be jealous of....that, to me, is high bball IQ.

@@ericburton1244 right or wrong it's return fire. Yes, you can abstain from doing it. But if you're a MJ fan, probably should be able to realize that. I mean, to each his own and maybe there's immaturity on both sides. But it really did all start with LeBron being the only guy that I have ever heard, really in any sport and say it deadpan serious unless you want to go Muhammad Ali. I don't even know if Ali was saying he was the greatest ever of just the greatest at the time. I guess Randy Moss has made claims he's the best WR of all time. But LeBron is the ONLY basketball player that I have seen or heard who has repeatedly said, "I'm the greatest of all time." Jordan didn't. Kobe didn't. Magic and Bird didn't. Kareem didn't. Wilt? Don't know, but probably not. Jerry West is the friggin logo of the NBA and he said Jordan is the best ever. LeBron is displaying and playing to the entitled, soft attitude crowd and generation who thinks life is unfair, and it is in a lot of ways. But their response to that isn't just to deal with it and accept it, do your best, maybe overcome some of it. Their attitude and response is to demand constant attention and validation and try to tear someone else down and if they don't receive that attention and validation they whine and throw tantrums like little kids. I mean, I get some of where you're coming from which is why I am trying to be selective when I get into these discussion and be "nicer". You say, stop acting like a female, maybe someone should LeBron, stop acting like a female. Or stop acting like a toxic narcissist. You have one fan base that is fans of a MAN, not a perfect man, but a MAN who worked hard, stayed respectful and humble, maybe lost control in the moment while competing, but generally was a mature, respectful man. Then, you have the other fan base that is fans of a guy who was wanted everything automatically handed to him, literally has been quoted as saying "I could win scoring titles if I wanted to, I could shoot 90% from the free throw line, 40% from three if I wanted to, DOESN'T really work on his game, throws teammates under the bus, throws coaches under the bus, and disrespects the greats who came before him. And it's spreading. You have his current coach, "plumbers and firemen". You have Anthony Edwards, "No one had skill back then except MJ." You're seemingly letting all of that GO to get on the case of the people who are by and large reacting to it. Kind of stunning if I'm being honest.

@@ericburton1244 He's great at what? Standing there guarding the out of bounds line? Catching rebounds without any contest from the other team? Taking PEDs to give him a longer career that he's wasted? Sorry...Lebron may have been good in the beginning. But the dude's had pretty much his entire career manufactured. And he's still doing it. All you have to do is watch with an open mind and open eyes to see this. If he got called for half the fouls he commits and half the technicals he deserves he wouldn't have half the padding in his stats that he has now.
Lebron and the current NBA are what happens when things get too good. People forget what they are and why they have what they have. Lebron hasn't earned the credit. Others have. I don't mind acknowledging Luka, Jokic, Steph, and others for the great things they've done. But, even then, it's always going to have the tarnish of a weaker league of weaker men.
As for acting like a female, much of this current NBA does that. They have to be "incentivized" with an in-season tournament and extra money just to play a sport they already get way too much money for. Add to that that the league has to add a caveat that you have to play 65 games to qualify for an award because so many "men" are sitting out and still getting their millions and you have your females.
Unlike many in the younger generations, I reserve my respect for those who earn it. I expect the same. Lebron being lifted up above where he belongs doesn't bother me, it shows me that quality and integrity have gone out the window in favor of entitlement and softness. It's not hard to figure out. I know what good basketball is because I grew up watching it. I've seen some of the best the league has to offer. And when I compare this current group to that group, it's not even close...

So when the team looks at game tape and everyone sees Lebron like a statue on defense then blaming others the entire team and coaching staff has to stay quiet or lie and say "Good defense Bron. Way to get after it." I would loathe being this man's teammate. Id be traded so fast cause there is no way Id be staying quiet.

On defense, he'll WALK down the court, HANDS ON HIPS....pathetic. he's got longevity that's all I can say and he can dunk the ball, in an era where you can't even be touched without getting called for a foul or you can't even say something without a technical because today's NBA is baby soft compared to when the real goat, MJ dominated the game and was the actual goat....... in every aspect of the game. Never lost a finals game, never had to play a game 7, never lost the Olympics...... well you can get my point it would take too long. But one thing will never be done again, 2-3 Peats.... and would have been eight in a row if he wouldn't have took off a year and a half
