Another stellar tutorial ... I'll be practicing this because it may be just the thing for a project I'll be shooting this fall. And countless others! Thanks so much Justin.
You can also go to effects and add "Transform" from there instead working on the standard "Motion" - this way you can adjust the shutter angle to 180, unselect the last box and have a motion blur effect while zooming
This is a awesome video. Really well explained. Actually, it is the best well explained zoom through effect of all of the on RUclips that I have watched. Thank you. I subscribed so I can watch more of your awesome content.
I thought that this is not too hard but when I did this for the first time I encountered difficulties. But more importantly, thanks to the good explanation, I was able to do it. Thanks. You are the best!
Dude, You are just simply amazing I watch every video of yours always a short video tutorial which always helps me in my work on learning premiere pro. Always my support with you...
justin you are awesome man, I always want to use that tyoe of transition effect, and now you teach us very simply. Your way of teaching and voice are superb and cool. keep teaching us. let us teach a sam kolder editing style or some of him specific editing effects.
It will be great if you upload those clips so that we can download them & practice. It will be very helpful for new learners like me. Please think once
you have helped me learn alot thank you so much . can we people who have learnt can have some opportunity to earn from our passion do you have anything
I tried this but wanted to added a second mask to the clip (both lenses), I couldnt do it. Other videos suggested using AE but I know zero about AE. I ended up splitting the main image in two then adding a mask to the left and right side, that worked! I'm sure there is a better way but I'm an idiot.
Is it not better to use the underlying clip from the start and lower the opacity so it actually looks like its the reflection then keyframe the opacity to 100 during the transition?
Having trouble masking the second lens. One of the lenses shows the video that I want but the second stays black what can I do have both lenses show the video ?
Hi Justin! I'm completely new to premiere pro or to any video editing software...there's one thing i would like to ask which may look dumb or idk but when i export my project , the output frame size is different from the source size...like, my video will appear smaller with a black background..I tried to fix the sequence scale and it's still 1920×1080 pixel but why did it appear smaller ?
You could enable some motion blur in premiere if you use the transform effect and the shutter angle option but this effect is pretty workable in both programs
Hi. When I adjusted the scale, a diamond doesnt appear in the keyframe. Any solution so that I can add "east out"? Wow. I tried this transition for two hours and still cant get it perfect but I'm determined to try it again. thanks for sharing!
Maybe I'm missing something here. I cannot zoom into anything. When I increase the scale, nothing happens. I followed several tutorials, yet I can't zoom in even when the keyframes are set. I tried the options "set to frame size" and "scale to frame size" but neither works.
A man with a tired voice, making tutorial, I Love you MAN
These snippets of easy to digest helpful tips are excellent. Please continue this amazing work

Great information
So Simple. So Smart.......So Well Explained!
this was so helpful, thank you
You can also go to effects and add "Transform" from there instead working on the standard "Motion" - this way you can adjust the shutter angle to 180, unselect the last box and have a motion blur effect while zooming
But in transform effect we can't Scale in more than 300
Thank you Justin.
Another great video, Thank you so much :) keep being awesome!

You can do in AE as well
Hello! Can you help me to do this effect like in Travis Scott - ASAP Forever video?
I tried this but wanted to added a second mask to the clip (both lenses), I couldnt do it. Other videos suggested using AE but I know zero about AE. I ended up splitting the main image in two then adding a mask to the left and right side, that worked! I'm sure there is a better way but I'm an idiot.
Yes stacking masks gets difficult in premiere
How do I put this effect in both glasses?
❤
what is the key to zoom in and zoom out ??
Is it not better to use the underlying clip from the start and lower the opacity so it actually looks like its the reflection then keyframe the opacity to 100 during the transition?
You can do either way
how can ı get this video
Having trouble masking the second lens. One of the lenses shows the video that I want but the second stays black what can I do have both lenses show the video ?
Hi Justin! I'm completely new to premiere pro or to any video editing software...there's one thing i would like to ask which may look dumb or idk but when i export my project , the output frame size is different from the source size...like, my video will appear smaller with a black background..I tried to fix the sequence scale and it's still 1920×1080 pixel but why did it appear smaller ?
You can choose export size
is this not better to do in after effects since you can enable motion blur with your scale & mask?
You could enable some motion blur in premiere if you use the transform effect and the shutter angle option but this effect is pretty workable in both programs
For some reason when I use the mask nothin disappears 😩
Are there any editing softwares that are close to premier pro that I can just buy instead of paying monthly? I wanna edit videos like lil uzis “wdyw”
There’s final cut
Hi. When I adjusted the scale, a diamond doesnt appear in the keyframe. Any solution so that I can add "east out"? Wow. I tried this transition for two hours and still cant get it perfect but I'm determined to try it again. thanks for sharing!
Make sure you have the stopwatch icon highlighted
@@JustinOdisho Thanks! I'll try it again :)
Do your transition pack come with instructions too?
Maybe I'm missing something here. I cannot zoom into anything. When I increase the scale, nothing happens. I followed several tutorials, yet I can't zoom in even when the keyframes are set. I tried the options "set to frame size" and "scale to frame size" but neither works.
can u plz tell me how to zoom out through ?? as this is zoom in through
Do it in reverse steps
@@JustinOdisho Thanks for quick reply ..ill try it
am confused here ....which part should be scaled ?
What's the use of "feathering?"
To smooth the edges or border
@@YashAsati thanks
