I made my first turkey this year! I searched for directions and you came up! I followed it cleaning prep and used ur butter compound recipe. My family says the turkey was flavorful and juicy!! Thanks for sharing !
That is the way I clean my Turkey I am glad to see another person using lemon. I leave with lemon a entire day . I don’t like the smell , I do the same chicken, pork . Then the next day I marinate . Everything onion. Bell papers LOTS OF GARLIC , oregano , tomillo , rosemary , Lee & Perry sauce , mustard a LOT ever kind onions purple , yellow , blend everything in a beer. Adobo , Italian herbs , any herbs you have , . After a day or two marinated . Put in the oven . Turkey is white meat is a big bird , 2 days marinated is perfect . It would have a nice flavor . Lee & Perry sauce IS A MOST , adobo , italian herbs . Go crazy with the garlic
I born in Egypt and I still use the same way to clean the turkey and chicken exactly as my mom. Finally I saw someone know how to clean before cooking Thank you Tammy Enjoy your Thanksgiving and God bless 🙏
Cooking it correctly will kill any bacteria. Water does not kill bacteria and neither does salt. Salt can actually protect salmonella so use this information as you will
This has always been an intimidating task to me....thank you so much for showing all the steps!❤ Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to you and your family❤
Awwww, thanks so much. I know preparing Thanksgiving dinner can be very hectic and nerve wrecking, but u got this. So glad I was able to help.💕Happy Holidays!!💕
Excellent vid, our family does the exact same thing and what you said at the end in response about people saying not to clean it , it splashes etc is correct……….this is a MUST, thank you❤❤
When Tammy rinsed that turkey, 🦃 🦃🦃 the water was clear, at the end. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 We have a large family, so 20 pounds is the minimum size. Thank you for the recipes and tips. Happy Holidays to you and the family, Tammy! 🤗🤗🤗
Omg i am so glad i watched this. I used to inject butter w seasoning which is hard. Now i know to separate the skin! I can pour some butter and seasoning in now
I wanted to wash my turkey a different way and I kept seeing NOT to wash your turkey, the this is a ethnic household you will not bring that European nonsense TikTok really applies to this

good advice, always clean and rinse the meat or poultry before seasoning. salt and vinegar as well as apple cider vinegar clean well also.
