This is a way less depressing version of something I came up with. Scars and broken bones are signs of a life well lived. Only one who has done nothing will reach the end of their life with clean hands. *What about victims of abuse and terrible accidents?* Then you survived well.
My creation in the thumbnail and everything, that was unexpected. I was really hoping it wasn't a distance or height thing, because it is not made for that.
Fun fact: If you can somehow force a farmbot into the floor, it will fall through the world and pop back up onto the surface, and the amount of falling it did can one-shot the farmbot, so you can just build a vehicle with no weapons and only a few pistons to kill a farmbot easily
0:53 Scrapman and Kan are like peanut butter and jelly... Spongebob and Patrick... crafting table and furnace... I'm sure the universe is a better place since they've met.
You should have multiple buckets placed about 30 blocks up in the air and cow launching vehicles in a cow field, so you launch the cows up in your respective buckets and if they fall down they ragdoll towards the field. The one with the biggest number of cows that made it in their bucket wins!
Base Building competition to protect a small farmplot or cow, 10,000 block limit for structural and maximum of 3 dozen defensive set-ups. Then increase the value of higher tier blocks, so that a wooden or cardboard base is block for block, but then some low tier metal costs 2 blocks per block used, and high end blocks cost 3 blocks each. Defensive setups are each given their own block limit, something like 150 blocks, and also will be given different "weight" for balance. Previous block type rules apply. Simple structures like bounce pads are 1 setup, and can have up to a 10x10 surface area to utilize the block limit, providing extra for structure underneath. Same for simple hammers, 100 for the implement, 50 for the structure. You could make a Tier 3 metal hammer with a 31 block head, squeezing a wood block somewhere in the middle, and give it a 3 block metal neck, sideways off the top of a bearing. Then you have 50 blocks to build the power supply housing and base. Thrusters count as a setup to themselves, so if used to add power or speed to another design, that design now costs 2 setups. Using blades and drills will make a setup cost 2. Anything with range costs 3, so one *could* choose to defend their base with 12 automated spud turrets, but that would leave you at a disadvantage against Farmbots, since you would have no crowd control or stalling defenses to rack up shots. You *can* use the defensive block limit to create walls separate from the main structure, utilizing all 150 blocks with no extra bits. It has to be a continuous unit of the material, so one couldn't just lay down 30x36 5 high spikes of tier 3 and wait out the clock. One all-wall chunk = 1 setup, whether or not it uses the block limit. Bases are built into their own worlds, so everyone can have all the time they want to find a suitable location for their design and self audit for these rules. All initial "raids" will be conducted with 50 totebots, 25 haybots, 2 Farmbots, and a second wave of 25 totebots, 10 haybots, and 5 farmbots. These are both worth 10 points each, after which we enter challenge rounds, where you get one point for trying, and one point for surviving. Until one's base is destroyed, fresh waves of 20 totebots, 8 haybots, or single Farmbots will attack, player's choice. After 5 rounds of this, if the base is still standing, point values double and a Farmbot is added to each wave. If a Base makes it to 50 points, it automatically wins, meaning multiple winners are possible, provided they can survive 12 waves without rebuilding. If y'all want to be ornery about first place, start the bases over and spam 20 farmbots and count the number who die before the base fails. Highest number of kills wins, beating the Farmbots means your base is too durable for competition, and is therefore disqualified from further competition, giving you an N/A and the person who wins but loses gets an asterisk etched into their trophy. I'm copy and pasting this and giving you credit, @Sun Dominic

do a no friction race, no brakes, no way of stoping yourself, you have to build a sled type vehicle that uses low friction blocks on the bottom and trusters to move,
A shrinking race or shrink-down race. Everyone starts with a 32X32 vehicle. At the first checkpoint you have to cut down your vehicle to a 16X16 vehicle. At the next checkpoint you cut it to an 8X8 vehicle. And maybe even a 4X4 at the end. You can chose during your build if you want to connect things with cardboard, so you can fire a (mounted)spudgun to disconnect the rest of the car. Or you can just delete some blocks. You would be allowed to use your connection tool and change settings. (you could even start with 64X64 for the extra big start)
Stacked pistons as punchers can potentially one shot farm bots. Just saying there's an even faster way to kill them. The only problem with the piston puncher is that the block has to actually hit the bot fast enough with out glitching through it or get pushed around it. But it's pretty magical when it works. I always feel like shouting "ONE PAAAAAAUNCH!!!!!!"
2 ideas, battlebot showdown with you guys, no spudguns. Or cow transporter. Pick up the cow and drop them off from one pen to the other. But your vehicle has to have no rails. And you cant push the cows into the 2nd pen. They have to be picked up and placed on your vehicle.
Survival challenges! something like first to kill a farmbot. Or first to raid a warehouse. Or first to get a spud gun. Or first to get all plant seeds!
mm idea -capture the cow, put a cow in the middle of an arena and all make vehicles that can push the cow and push it into your own pen, maybe even allow the usage of spud guns
Vehicle herding challenge: get cows to herd copies of your vehicle (low friction maybe) you spawn one copy in the middle every time you get one in your pen
How about a woc race? You need to strategically place corn in order to make wocs complete races, trigger sensors, avoid being killed etc. Kinda hard to create, but could be fun to watch
you need to do a wok / cow relay the woc must survive the whole thing . you have 3 events 1. woc through (you must throw the wok into your second vehicle) 2. woc race (you must keep your woc alive and contained the entire time point a to b) 3. woc war ( arm your woc by having it destroy a cardboard building(buttons or sensors that detect the woc to shoot/bomb the building))

you have 3 events
1. woc through (you must throw the wok into your second vehicle)
2. woc race (you must keep your woc alive and contained the entire time point a to b)
3. woc war ( arm your woc by having it destroy a cardboard building(buttons or sensors that detect the woc to shoot/bomb the building))
i wish that real olympics was fun as this one .
