- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are playing hide and seek by using a mod that spawns in a rock around our vehicles! We have to build vehicles to fit inside these rocks and hide from a seeker. The seeker has to find and tag the 2 hiders and whoever can do this the fastest is the winner!

Do a MM video on the 4 villages map
Each player builds a locomotive (first car of the train) which will pull 3 other cars mostly made of cardboard and has 1 explosive inside of each. Each player drives it across the bridge, the other 2 players shoot the 3 cars with spudguns and have to blow all 3 explosives. The train driver can place each explosive in any spot of each car. The base of each car will be made from tier 3 concrete/metal to avoid the train from splitting from explosions.

Imagine if scrapman set up a wireless connection to the rock things to either make more rocks, or disable all the non-vehicle ones.

MM suggestion: 2v2 boat fight where one person has the hud off & the other is in a dark room on the boat & has the hud on; the navigator in the dark room has to be in first person & cant see anything but the nametags of the other ship, whilst the captain without a hud can see the environment & shoot the guns. You could even make it harder by having the room constantly spin, so the navigator doesn't know where the boat is facing variations (like having the captain look forward in first-person at all times) are good for making it more interresting.
Have a seat on a bearing that turns the opposite direction of the boats steering maybe?

Tree hide and seek or tag, climb the trees to hide in them, if you get found by the seeker, you can fall down from the trees. The map has a ton of them
I'd love to see this challenge adapted to other forms of vehicle. Boat, VTOL, hovercraft would all have varying levels of difficulty and I'm certain they would be hilarious! Thanks for the content!

Multiplayer Monday idea: you build a triathlon track and build 3 different vehicles for each of the sections and you build them at each point.
2 ideas came up when watching Scrapman. It might be a good idea to go backwards sometimes so if the others see your car going away from them they'll think you are facing away from them and move. If you are lucky you will see them move. Also the engine sound; it would make for really inconvenient controls but if you could tie in a switch the engine off when the seeker is near, they wont hear you.
Super fun and suspenseful, but the chase needs to way bigger, and somehow the hiding too.
Some ideas ..
A multi-stage Tag-Chase evolution game, where the stadium gets evolved as well?
The stadium evolves by having elements and/or quadrants that are duplicated forwards.
Each player evolves their car independently, against cars and the traps of the others.
(Drop spikes during a chase?)
noise is a clue..
can you make puddles of noise somehow?
Other stationary noises interfering.
Loud claxons on the vehicles when proximity is reached? (good hunting drama)
Also Better terrain for chases. LOVE the rock camo.
Moving Walls and one way barriers, jumps, bigger rocks to hide in, some basins for drop-in grand curves.
Once someone is captured their vehicle is impounded in a central jail, and they become harpoon operators on the seeker car.
If someone uncaptured can tags the impounded car, the harpoonist is set free again!
To make it better you could have the rocks that are hiding try to do missions or get to a certain area in order to force them to move.
Some of the rocks should hide hidden traps, such as pistons that will push you up, or barriers which will stop you from going in fully :-P

@3:00 If i was trying to hide as a rock, i would use pistons to lower my wheels almost perfectly flush with the ground when i push a button, so i could crawn very low and slow :-D
I might also have an explosive attached to each side of my machine, hidden under the rock, so if he runs into me he blows up :-D Give your fellow rocks a fighting chance if you end up dying

Yes I said it, EXPLOSIVE ROCKS!!! :-P @5:00 perhaps if you create an event where you DO NOT SHOW EACHOTHER your vehicles before hand... You can create tricky things they wont expect to battle each other or trip up the Rock finder guy :-P Some REAL Competition :-D

Multiplayer Monday idea: Farmbot mech battles. You each build a mech capable of battling farmbots, but you make it out of a non durable material. Or you just battle each other with the mechs.

I asked this a long time ago he ignored me
This was pretty fun, I think it would work better if you were forced to weld on a hint contraption to give a clue to your whereabouts on a timer. You could even make the building of the hint contraption part of the challenge, so each round you are forced to use another of each others' hintboxes (including a round with your own to prevent you making it too crazy). should have some rules in place like the timer that triggers it must be the same for all hintboxes, and it must fit within a certain volume (while unpowered ;) ). Pistons and bearings are probably all fine, with lights and totebot heads likely being the main hint giving tools, though i suspect you could come up with other things like drills and sawblades to make noise and sparks idk

@9:15 hiding your rock in a rock might make a difference if you make the rock look weirder then the rest :-P Your rock combined with the other rock will give new angles which might stand out :-P

You should do a build military vehicles based on pictures only challenge for a trailmakers multiplayer, you provide a picture of a military vehicle for someone to build and then battle to see who got the best military vehicle, this could continue as tournament through a series of episodes.👍
Defend the cow. Two teams. You build a wood fort with some sort of gun and place your cow inside, and you spawn bots onto your team. You can't shot the other team's fort but you can shoot their bots. Every time you kill one of their bots you spawn a bot. And you spawn a bot once a minute.
I can't believe they actually used Kan's stupid idea for a MM challenge.

Something that could help was if you placed a few vehicles as rocks, so the seeker hits a vehicle and thinks it's a player, but it isn't

Suggestion: Bot betting you have to get towards two teams of bots; red and blue the person/people that bet correctly gets to add a bot to a team depending on how many times you win it goes 4 greenies 3 haybots 2 tapebots 1 farmbot. Who ever puts down all bots down first wins!

I think a high jump would be good, Build a ????? and set a bar which keeps getting higher and higher after each jump until you cant jump over it any more.

Imagine if someone had a contraption to drop down some of the huge rocks
Something you shoould really do is have a little text on top of the screen at thestart of the timelaspe that tells you when the timelapse ends, because i like it when it's a surprise to the viewers too
Next time you do something like this, what if everyone took turns putting down rocks, until finally it's complete? Meaning that nobody will be able to remember all the rocks? Could also adapt the idea into a race course where you design each section as a team before racing against one another for the tnt finish
Now the large rock version, but no wheels (or other round'ish wheel like objects) and small explosives surrounding the vehicle.
Vehicles can move, just needs to be some sort of walking, or self flipping, or cactus pusher with low friction blocks Etc.
But no glitches or thrusters (or as stated, no wheels).
The seekers vehicle will be equipped with two 8 block wide "pokers", at least one of them folding or retractable.
Long enough that the main vehicle won't be damaged. When one poker is blown off, swap to the second. No repairs allowed.
Smaller arena to compensate for the extra time needed to poke each rock carefully.

Scrap catch: one person operates a large telescoping crane to catch piles of scrap on surrounding conveyers , the others must drive around in rail cars alongside the conveyers hiding explosives in the scrap without the crane operater noticing so he'll grab them and bring them to a collecting container at the base of his crane and accidentally blow up and topple his crane. The crane operated wins if he catches all the normal scrap, the rail car drivers win it they get the crane to blow up.

You should use the 4 villages train map for the multiplayer Monday. At each station you have to pick up a extra trailer. Trailers could be made out of heavy materials and contain food or other crates.

For the next Multiplayer Monday, get a city (Workshop or built) and make a plane, attach bombs to it and 2 planes fly over the city to see what you can blow but one player on the ground has a sentry or something and tries to shoot you down.
For a summary
2 bombers bomb the city
1 player shoots you down
Make planes with cardboard except for wings and engines
Rules are made by you, kan, and Moonbo and any body else

Alternative title : 3 guys look at rocks
Challenge: Dogfight evolution. Start with a simple plane build with minimal cores and one gun, then add on parts from the losers planes after each battle. Once you have 3 of engines, jets, guns, or other tiered part, you can upgrade to the next tier. But once you upgrade, you can only use one of that part. If you wait till you have 6 of the same part then you can use 2 of the upgraded tier on the next battle.
Me: how many hours does scrapman have in scrap mechanic.

Multiple evolution race:
Basically the same but u have ur own chains of evolution, so u modify ur creation 3 times and choose the best and modify it 3 times again
New rule: you cannot test the vehicle while building, that's what the race/battle is for

What about a completely different challenge: you don't build vehicles at the start and have to run to the finish BUT you allowed to use ANYTHING to get advantage from dragging a wall in front of other players to even making a small car (but creations you make cannot be taken on lift) that will take some time but give you a huge advantage if other players didn't build a wall of explosives!
I think it would be a refreshing experience
