- In this video, I run step by step on how to install facelift taillights on your 2010 Mercedes E-Class W212 model. These lights are made specifically for the 2010 pre-facelift models so you won't have to worry about the harness and bumper gap. In my opinion, they're definitely worth the money and I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out.

I had a 2011 E350 and boy oh boy do I regret trading it! That's the one car (out of many that I've owned over the years) that I regret selling! If I could do it all over, I'd get a 2014 E550! 👍🏼
Same here, i wish i had opted for the e550 so I could atleast enjoy some power 😂
2010 E550 here…was talking to a retired Air Force officer in home depot parking lot (he had same car but sold it) and complaining about lack of audio tech in my car and he said to me, “even if you stop daily driving it, you will regret selling. Keep it”
Great job I definitely think these do look better. I have a C230 compressor that I'm trying to work the same thing but having wire harness problem.

Yes they should fit, as long as its 2010-2011 (pre facelift)
It wouldn’t fit on a E350 2012??

And, what level of expertise (on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 would be an expert) is required if I would want to give it a 'DIY try' myself? Also, if you can, as an alternate, please share the details of someone you would recommend to carry out a similar job, say, in Toronto, on my Lexus RX 350 (2019), if at all recommended?

A friend of mine fitted some to his merc and 6 months later one failed, no problem though as he bought another pair off ebay, he did say he's wondering how long they will last
Im not sure, I have been running it for a year now in harsh weather conditions (-40 degrees) and there seems to be zero issues so far.
Did these last ok? Im thinking of getting a pair for my pre-facelift....any reason why you didnt use the foam from the factory lights?

I have the w212 2012 with standard tail lights. When I upgraded toLED they didn’t work, nothing worked as it should. So now I have the standard halogen blinkers and they look ugly and boring

Did you have any issues with the rear fog lamps, I just installed these on my 2013 e350 and only one fog lamp in the rear is working, thank you!

Thanks! the estate and sedan have different model tailights so you’d have to source specific ones for the estate

@@asfandyar87 if you're talking about the oem tailights, then both are slightly different from the edge. this is why i suggest buying facelift reps made for pre facelift

So far no issues, they have been holding up very well. Even in extreme cold weather

These are aftermarket lights made specifically to fit the 2010-2011 models

If you decide to buy the original ones from the facelift model, you will have to code and wire them so it isnt worth it. Plus there is a small gap that is present with the body

Yes they are
I can’t get the middle ones to come out
It requires some force, try prying it with a plastic flat head tool

You can, but honestly it might be slightly tougher to fit

@@slotank you could try but the foam on the oem lights is stuck on them real nice so you will have to rip it off in pieces

I have a 2011 Mercedes Benz E550 Sedan. Went to that EBay site and those tail lights aren't compatible for the E550. I got this message - This part is not compatible with this 2011 Mercedes-Benz E550 Base Sedan 4-Door 5.5L 5461CC 333Cu. In. V8 GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated.

They should be a direct fit for the e550, it’s possible the harness might be a little different? I would contact the seller and confirm
