I'd say the zombie spider-man is more tragic than evil.

I could never get into the zombieverse. It was far to gory.
I agree he is literally carrying the guilt of cannibalizing his wife and Aunt after being infected and I heard him constantly wanting to die or asking someone to kill him, of course this guilty conscience only appeared after he fed on someone but it's really sad

Agreed. Though I find the zombies not being mindless a refreshing change from most other zombie stories. Also, Zombie Spidey proved to be an interesting antihero by the story's end.

Logan did mention this hypocrisy during the superior spiderman story.

When I was watching Spider-Man The Animated Series (Highly recommend it if you haven't watched it already) I got to a part where Madam Web told Spidey that she was preparing him for the fight of his' life against a villain that was unlike any he had ever faced, I was like "C'mon, what Villain could possibly be more dangerous than Carnage" and then when I saw Spider-Carnage I immediately thought; "OK she is right, this is the Perfect Final Boss"
I really hope that after Marvel finishes their revival of X-Men TAS that they bring back Spider-Man TAS since it's technically unfinished too, unfortunately the odds are quite low, but I hope that Marvel listens to Fans' Opinions about bringing this masterpiece back
After being able to watch all the episodes of Spider-Man TAS (a show I loved in the 90s) recently, I can safely say it holds up very well and would love a continuation.
It amazes me how the big 2 flipped their approach to continuity. Back in the 60s, 70s, 80s DC had the "infinite earths" as they say, imaginary tales, etc, and Marvel had ONE continuity and only ONE continuity (with the sometimes exception of the team-up books). Oh how the turn tables!
That isn't true though, Marvel had What If at least as early as the early/mid 80s. DC did it more often but Marvel still had a multiverse.

But What If was outside of continuity, unlike DC with the multiple (technically they never made it all the way to infinite!) earths that did crossover in continuity (JLA/JSA team-ups that often incorporated other earths) which Marvel does now. Inconceivable in say 1980.
Both have had alternate universes since the days when marvel was still marvel.
You apparently know about dcs, so maybe just to name a couple of the alternate universes from marvel you had 2099 universe, the ultimate universe, main universe (616) and all the alternate universes caused by different timelines. You also had the "what if" universe, and so far MOST one shots take place in their own universe regardless which company you are talking about.
Most of the spidermen from the spider verse originated between the first appearance of spiderman and before the end of the 90s.
In fact, marvel normally has had more alternate universes in print than DC has.

@@codyott1982 Actually, as I initially said, in Marvels first 25-30 years they did NOT. What If stories were outside of continuity, and with the exception of Spider-Girl, were one and done stories. DC did the Crisis On Infinite Earths to streamline their continuity of nearly 50 years of alternate earths that were in continuity (Earth-1 (JLA), Earth-2 (JSA), Earth-C (Crime Syndicate), Earth-M (SHAZAM), etc). It was kind of a big deal. And now Marvel has all it's alternate earths (616, etc).
I also remember when you had to get up to change the TV channel, phones were on a cord and in the house, and gas was less than $1. I've seen some stuff man.

I kind of hate zombie Spider-Man the most, not because his a bad character.
I hate him too! I honestly didn't like the idea of turning all my favorite heroes to completely horrible monsters who after being heroes all their lives just like on the mainstream earth. All of a sudden they just become totally the opposite and eat all those they love and wanted to protect, instead of trying to fight against those urges, looking for a cure, or fucking just killing themselves by shooting in the head. Instead of choosing being horrible monsters who eat and torture everyone!
When I click on a What Culture and hear Jules' voice, I smile. Love ya, mate!

I’d say all but the Zombie Spider-Man fit the “evil” classification. Unlike the others, his terrible acts were like a compulsion, not a conscious desire to do harm.
Same with the old man spidey, both are more of an antihero
