So after Gavin catching a snippet of Johnson's monologue, I had to go out and look up a video for the full version. For those that are curious enough to know the whole thing, but not curious to find your own RUclips video, I transcribed the dialogue from the very beginning, when Michael accidentally triggered and skipped the drive. I tried to capture Johnson's mannerisms and particular emphasis, so the quotation marks are for slightly emphasized euphemisms and the italics are strongly emphasized by Johnson's dialog.
"Hey Chief, kept the seat warm for ya. Hell yeah, get in here! Yeah, welcome to the party, Chief. Damn aliens, killed all my men. Glad you're here! Take the fight to 'em, show 'em who's boss! The marines, they're badass, it does get a little...lonely though...at the top. By yourself, know what I mean Chief? Soldiers dying, left and right, and only ourselves left over. Ahh, but you're not really alone are ya Chief? You got Cortana with ya. Speaking of which, good to have you here ma'am. Pleasure, even. Chief, you got any uhh...got any cool features in that helmet of yours? Got any access to any...in-fight movies? Heh, yeah man! Any wifi? Access to, uhh, 'UNSC flicks'? _Suit got any other features?_ Things can get pretty stressful out in the battlefield. Maybe you put the underscores after the periods, question marks, and explanation points? I think that's why it didn't go through italicized, same as things don't get bolded by the *, unless you put it after the periods and comas.
Like Bryon says, in order to use italics, bolds, and underlines, there can't be anything before and after the symbols used.
Place the underscore after the ? mark and the sentence will italicize.
I think you have to put underscores for each _individual_ word, not whole sentences?
@00dawn _Not necessarily. A complete sentence, and even a paragraph is fine, as long as the underscore are the very first and last of characters._
Johnson screaming as they fell into the pit has to be one of the best things to happen in this mod.

That would be InfernoPlus. He's made some other wacky mods too, like custom destructible minecraft multiplayer maps for Halo 3, and working on more still, like his own version of cursed Halo 3.

It can be easy to just replace guns with new guns that do different stuff and call it Modded Halo, but that Johnson bit took some actual effort. That was the funniest thing I never expected out of this playthrough
I'm honestly just as impressed with the custom reload animations. Pouring salt on the salt rifle or throwing the prop gun in the air
And the d20s are a beast all their own, that took a huge amount of effort just to get working.

I wish they labeled these as cursed halo in the titles. Been waiting on a new one for a while only to realize that it's been out for a while.
Great episode the Johnson bit had me dying. Pls throw more D20s though, like as soon as you get them. There’s so much content in them

@reconz-em6gj I know, it was so disappointing to see. At times I think it’s on purpose, to get people to watch the next video because these Play Pals videos are the only videos on Lets Play that people actually watch. Their views otherwise are abysmal, not a single video over 250k views in what feels like years.
I can't wait til the library and what comes after it.
That only works in solo player for the library, if you are talking what I think of...

343 has actually specifically fixed glitches that have prevented InfernoPlus from making his insane mods. It's the reason why he actually put out fully destructible Minecraft maps for Halo 3.

This episode is where the titles are finally getting to me. I checked the channel yesterday to see what was uploaded and saw this, but had no clue it was Cursed Halo. Originally thought it was Challenge Accepted. Seeing it now it’s partially my fault for not putting it together, but if I as someone actively looking for these videos can’t even tell at first glance what a video is going to be about, how the hell do they expect to get viewers back or create new ones with these terrible titles and thumbnails?
They're trying to appeal to general funny moments viewers with algorithm pleasing titles thumbnails, higher chance someone will find one of the individual videos and then circle back to episode 1 in the playlist rather than clicking on a video that says it's Part 5 of a series. I understand what they're trying to accomplish but I do agree that it's dumb

I love the random jump cuts. It's like how much did I miss? Who knows? The editor is they only one who knows what's going to be funny for everyone. I also love not numbering the parts just make it as confusing as possible for the viewer.

They really need to do something to identify this as Cursed Halo in the title. There's pretty much no way to tell this is a part of that series at a glance unless you're already watching it. The elite and grunt model they used in the thumbnail aren't even from the Halo they're playing

idk if it works in co-op, but if you double tap the flashlight button you can do a spin kick and if you hit jump and flashlight at the same time you'll do a flying kick.

for future reference, the sequence break was when you return to this place and you're going backwards. all you have to do is just get low on the bridge to trigger the load zones. just to be safe, from the that bridge onwards, it's best to fly as low to the ground as possible 'cause there may be some load zones in the tunnel or even outside..... but I think the bridge is the most major one

Yeah I almost missed it because I thought it was something else, like GMod or something. I also missed the last episode by a couple days before I realized it was Cursed Halo as well. They should be promoting this series MORE because it does so well! If they are worried about it getting more views than the other stuff, then they should instead try to get MORE views with it so that it brings new people in that would be more willing to check out the other videos. And if every new person doesn't stick around to watch the other stuff, then maybe they should actually think about restructuring things to make the channel popular again?
