Michigan had some stellar defensive players that year that went on to have great pro careers.
Yup. I’d argue this 1999 team was one of the hottest heading down the stretch. I’d put them up against anyone at the end of the year.

As a Penn State fan I hated Tom Brady after this game. After all he's done for my Patriots I gotta say that feeling is long gone.

Yet another game where Lloyd was better off trailing at halftime than leading. Imagine how good we could have been if he hadn't been so damn conservative all the time.
Bob Griese was very pro Michigan on commentary during this period. Its understandable given his son's success there, and while I personally enjoy it, I think its worth pointing out.

Wow I think I counted 14 players from this team that at least started for a season in the NFL. Just think if Lloyd opened it up and played to win they easily could have went undefeated and handled OU or FSU.
This game should have gave tom Brady a first round pick in the draft.
wow tom brady wasa great player in college. im personally an oklahoma fan but michigan has such a great history. also he had a great arm in college
...while they ignore the fact that JoePa had 2 seconds put back on the clock in that game as well.
This was my first game at Beaver Stadium and, as an Eagles fan, definitely not the last time Tom Brady crushed my dreams.
THE BRADY
Bob Greise commentary is biased against Brady. Seems to always blame defense when Brady makes excellent play. Similar in Alabama game think he felt jealousy because Brady was and is better thank his son Brian.

Wow, yes I posted this on the wrong video! Thank you for calling attention to this as I would had for people to think I could confuse Griese and Danielson. I much prefer the former although Gary was not as bad at this point as he would ventually become on the SEC on CBS

While your statement is partially true (I can remember one game where Bob talked about how a UM opponent needed to blitz/attack more to get after 'Griese') I am trying to understand the relevance for a game covered by Gary Danielson and Brent Musburger....
