Ooo. Just got a hot dose of nostalgia for the 00-04 Eagles. Summer of 04 the hype for the Eagles was electric. It was almost as if they had already won the super bowl. It was a forgone conclusion. The party had already started. 2017 feels almost hollow compared to what 2004 would have been had they done it. 2017 came outta nowhere. Nobody expected the Eagles to be that good, especially after Wentz went down. The 04 Eagles had been building for years steadily getting closer till they hit a wall that their #2 WRs couldn't get them over. In comes TO. The best in the game at that point in time. Added to probably they most talented roster in the NFL. With a dangerously bold coach in a pass happy offense. It was football heaven I can only hope to experience again one day. That opening day vs the giants and the bomb to TO. *chefs kiss.
