The way I was literally SHOUTING at the screen, this method is GENIUS!!! At first I was like "well there are only 12 rollers in the pack, she'll need at least two sets" and then the ENORMOUS VERTICAL SECTIONS absolutely blew my mind. 9 rollers for the entire head. 9!!! SO FAST AND EASY!!! And then when she took the rollers out... Pandemonium. THE RESULTS ARE INCREDIBLE!!! I'm literally overwhelmed. This whole technique is incredible. I'M SHOOK!!!
Wow this is amazing !!!! I wish you continued it !!!!!! This is probably the easiest tutorial to understand soo far. :( Please come back!! When you do return, can you do vintage Hollywood waves on long hair 20 inches?? Please
I've tried all kinds of rollers, but my hair always ends up a HUGE frizzy mess! What am I doing wrong? I roll when hair is damp, use a fine setting spray, and remove them carefully. My hairbrush is a round brush, is that the problem? Are the rolls too tight? I really can't figure it out, and it makes me sad :(
If you haven't already, work anti-friz serum and a light pomade with your hands through the curls while you are brushing them out and try a different brush like this one, my go to, store.vintagehairstyling.com/miracle-curl-brush/
thank you so much for replying! It could be the brush, since I'm using a round one. I use a great anti-frizz serum and pomade, so I know it's not chemical. Hm...
Do you take care of your hair properly? Cause I had the same problem but since I use the right hair mask, conditioner and shampoo my hair doesn't get that much frizzy
Is there a particular length your hair should be for these hair styles to work properly? My hair is three and half ft. long. I'm asking before I try this because I need to go out and buy a tone of stuff to do this. I own no hair styling products or tools.Just a regular brush.
Lauren Rennells Thanks for the quick reply, it's a lovely dress but I guess I'll have to continue my search. Thanks for the videos too, they're really informative and easy to follow, great for us beginners. Have a great weekend. X
Anita Lee You could get close with the sponge rollers if you wrapped them tight enough. I do really like the way Rockin’ Rollers “pinch” the base of the curl adding to the pin curl effect.

Shell Mora If your hair is that long and you don’t have layers, you will probably have a difficult time with this style.
Hi! I realise this video is a few months old but I really have to know, where is her dress from? It's stunning (as is her hair!). Thanks. X
It's a vintage gown from the 1930s.

where is the flower clips from ? x
I actually made them with some simple fake orchid flowers from the craft store.
If you do the curl with sponge rollers it will work?
Amazing video, i love that type of wave on the hair ♥️

Can you not use hot sticks to achieve the same stylesheet
Yes. Just be careful with the rollers around the face and ears. They can burn skin if allowed to get hot enough.
Would this work on shorter and thicker hair? X
SeriouslyNotNormal What hair length are you working with?
Yes.
Very romantic!
