Good morning Lauren. Today I did a wet set and I used several of the tips here. I managed to do some pin curls for my short little sideburn pieces. I did diagonal parts and it really did avoid my hair separating weirdly. I dug out my old diffuser to use. And I used some alligator clips to section my hair at first. All of this resulted in the best style I have ever had. I have an important event to go to today that I’m nervous about and the fact that my hair looks great is making me feel much less nervous. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I received this video just in time.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
hello Lauren absolutely beautiful video 👍😊 but please kindly film how you did your hair roller set in the previous video when you get a chance please ok?thank you very much 😊.
Wow, your color & styling (your gorrgeous quiff 😍)look absolutely immaculate! This is the most detailed explanation I've seen on setting the curls. tysm 💕
I have much longer hair than yours, but I use the exact same iron for my hair to achieve vintage curls! Can confirm that it works for long hair, too! I also don't have the time to do wet sets. For starters, it takes forever for my hair to dry so I have to make sure I put them in at least 12-13 hours in advance. Secondly, it takes me forever to do them (much longer than just using an iron). And thirdly, I'm a mother of a toddler and now have another baby on the way ... The last thing I want to do at nighttime is to spend another 45 minutes putting my hair in curlers that aren't the most comfortable to sleep on, haha.
We got the same haircut. Mine is a tiny bit longer though! I have been searching for short hairstyles and yes I did go straight to Ms. Monroe's short ones. I have been experimenting with the front to get that little curl that gives the vintage style. Will the principle of the direction of the part (straight or diagonal) at the base apply to pillow roller sets too? Love your videos and products!
Thanks Lauren. The tip about the back hair to avoid a mullet look is something I will definitely try tomorrow!!
You're so welcome!

Yes use the same parting for your rollers.
