Little mermaid is actually Danish not Greek. The idea that mermaids are in Greek mythology is a inaccurate misconception. Sirens and mermaids technically aren’t the same.

The story that the movie is based on is Danish, but I believe it was confirmed at some point that the movie takes place in the Mediterranian, though I remember Prince Eric's kingdom being in Italy, not Greece ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As far as I understand, Powhatan is unfortunately an extinct language. There are a few written records by William Strachey and John Smith (not Pocahontas' husband John Rolfe), of some 600 or so words. But that's all that's left of the language. If this is cool for you, there's a fan-creation of people singing Colors of the Wind in different other native american languages which are still alive today.

Mulan is debatable, as well is Nala Zulu,Cinderella french, Princess from Princess and the Frog was german as well as were the prince that was cursed to leave in fog body.

She’s written by a Danish man, which you probably know. But the history of The little mermaid would be in Greek. Probably because they use Greek history - the mermaid king etc.
