Little mermaid is actually Danish not Greek. The idea that mermaids are in Greek mythology is a inaccurate misconception. Sirens and mermaids technically aren’t the same.
In move she is a daughter of the Triton
Yes but she is Triton's daughter
She is the daughter of Triton, who's the son of Poesidon, Zeus' and Hades' brother. It would make sense in that way if she spoke Greek.
The story that the movie is based on is Danish, but I believe it was confirmed at some point that the movie takes place in the Mediterranian, though I remember Prince Eric's kingdom being in Italy, not Greece ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ariel lives around Demark doesn’t she?
I'm glad that we agree that The Hunchback of Notre Dame is underrated.
Native americans are actually doing a pretty good job of piecing their culture back together so hopefully one day they'll have a powhatan dub for pocahontas.
As far as I understand, Powhatan is unfortunately an extinct language. There are a few written records by William Strachey and John Smith (not Pocahontas' husband John Rolfe), of some 600 or so words. But that's all that's left of the language. If this is cool for you, there's a fan-creation of people singing Colors of the Wind in different other native american languages which are still alive today.

@@oddity7263 Cheers, what matters is that they preserve what they have left and then try and recover what they've lost. I watched that video you sent me and it was beautiful, I hope it them these more often in the future (probably not because i don't live in the USA, but I still hope they make a comeback).
Megara actually is Hercules's step sister but in the mith his was in love with his own mother named Alcmena and his stepmom was Hera. Mulan is debatable, as well is Nala Zulu,Cinderella french, Princess from Princess and the Frog was german as well as were the prince that was cursed to leave in fog body.
The Zulu version of Can you feel the love tonight song was really melodic
Moana Māori is Goosebumps!!!!
Yes indeed
I can't believe they only played the Scottish one for a couple seconds
Loved your reaction
Thank you 😊
Isn't Ariel Danish?
She’s written by a Danish man, which you probably know. But the history of The little mermaid would be in Greek. Probably because they use Greek history - the mermaid king etc.
Triton is the son of Poseidon, the God of Sea. So Ariel being Triton’s daughter, is Greek :)
@@nikosvlasakis Oooooooh, right 🤦♀️
250th like and 56th comment.
I guess Nala is a princess since Simba was the son of the King and Queen of the pridelands and she animal-married him?
Yes. She's definitely a princess
No because all Cubs are born from the king so every female lion is a princess but those roles don’t exist in prides so no she’s not
I heard it
Love💞💞💞
Thank you 😁
