What's been YOUR experience with trading in games?
Unfortunately my local game shop is pickier than I am putting games in my collection, so he rarely takes any games and I'm forced to try to sell locally
Ugh, that's rough! Maybe there's some other shops that will be better in neighboring cities!
I mainly trade my slow movers in at a local game store for credit to resurface games to are high end. Always have a good experience. Don't have nearly as much inventory as you do. Great video so far havent finished watching yet.

If your are ever in Northern Alabama, I know of a retro video game shop that takes everything, every time. Highly recommend.

I have to play Devil's advocate and disagree, to me it's silly and distracting. It's too much, one or two per video maybe, but it's a lot and for me seems less professional and more like a high school video project.

ive kept one of each console so that i can test the various games and accessories i find daily. i suggest keeping one of each console and system and set up a testing space if you have the room! i love the videos!
We do have a testing space, but usually we get systems in so frequently it's not too much trouble to wait to test stuff. However we WERE in a PS3 drought lol

I'm glad I my skylanders on switch cheap new. I got the starter pack new for 10 dollars
What I've learned is to take all the games that you don't sell, instead of marking them $1 apiece at a garage sale - just take the manuals/art out, recycle it, keep the cases as needed, and take the loose discs and put together an untested ebay lot.

Love the trade in videos, I do the same with a duffle bag, when it's full it's time to go turn a bunch of low value games and accessories into some high value listings
So I just made the best pick up I think ever in my 2 years of video game hunting got pac man galaxy orbet and frogged 1982 ex large game systems and crazy about if games 1sealed ds Pokémon and wii for 140. Your videos get me so pumped before I go

It's $75 but marked $120 dollars on Ebay. After eBay's fee you only make $75 if ur lucky after shipping..

Do you have any idea how much value, as in spent by you to acquire, of inventory you are sitting on at any given point? You seem to have a lot of inventory at any given point. I went to my local game store. Gave them some games all under $10 each. Maybe like 20 or 30 of them. A genesis, ps2, Wii, controllers, ps1 and a ds and they gave me like $600 instore credit lol

This is so cool. They turn junk games into good games. I buy my games only $50 and above which mostly are the good games lol. I did buy a lot a week ago of 144 games $1 a piece only becuase it had 2 Simpsons hit n run and Godzilla PS2 so I had to buy it. It even out with the 3 games in price. Not sure what I will do with the rest of the 141 games might do this but I don't think GameStop takes PS2 games anymore.
Best option is system bundles there doing decent.

I HATE game stores that print cover artwork and put it in cases. When we went to fort Wayne last year and went to mega replay I passed on almost everything id normally get because of that. I will not sell games on eBay without original artwork. I won't sell something that I wouldn't put in my personal collection.
Agreed. That’s why I sell it as “cartridge only” if it has reprinted art or a non OG case. I mainly hunt for only CIB and original condition items if I can!
@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice the only cart games I usually sell are N64 or older since they are so hard to get cib. For disc based and DS stuff I'll wait til I can find a case and manual on eBay or locally in a lot and then complete it. All about maximizing that profit. And I don't mind sitting on stuff unless I have a bunch of money into it. Just had major surgery so I haven't been able to hunt for a couple months. Running low on inventory.
Best I can do is, you owe me $250 and I am taking a lose here, because I have to pay employees to put stock up. (Waiting for your response, while Rick makes that taking a dump look)
