- In this video, I show an unboxing of the brand new EK1 Mini 2+ that was just released by Sxth Element. I also go over the process of setting up the unit before you’re able to begin tuning. This EK1 Mini 2+ replaces the outgoing EK1 lite. The new EK1 Mini 2+, as the name suggests, it's a compact versus the EK1 lite, which makes it a better option to permanently mount in your car.

Update 4/26/24: Per Sxth, when hooking up the blue accessory wire to the fuse box, the EK1 will stay on for a short time after the car has been turned off. It has a delay in detecting the power has been shut off.

Great video ! If i get a revised tune or switch between tune files. Its required to Load the Bootpatch files first and then the revised

@@kevins8089 No, you load the boot patch once.
Did you need to have the add ECU custom tune and 3 revision files checked when ordering in order to be able to tune your car? Or can you still tune your car with the device itself? Because I know with that checked it makes it $1300 instead of $600.
You have to buy the tunes separate from the device. I purchased a tune directly from N75 without revisions, since we don’t plan on anymore engine mods to the Veloster at this time.

@@nprformdo this work on EN 24?, I have a EN 24 and I heard that it cant be tuned.
@@wcuesta3509 It will work for the 24’s once they unlock the ECU. The device is compatible with the car, it’s the actual tunes you’ll have to check on, when they’re compatible.

Hello I'm trying to data log on the EK1 PRO but I do have that option can I get help🙏🏻
The Pro’s gauge screen is a bit different from the EK1 Mini 2+, select the gauges you want to record, then you will have to hit the red circle button at the bottom of the screen to start recording data logs. I’m about to make a data logging video tomorrow.
How do you go back to stock using this ?
I haven’t put the tune on yet, but I will this week. I’ll have a video very soon showing the tune being put on and taken back to stock.
can i install this with any laptop ...or i need a program or laptop in specific? already have the ek1 mini...im plannig to buy a laptop my is kind old running super slow

@@MrTediousness When you hook up the EK1 to your car and read the ECU, It looks like your calibration ID should display either BOSCH MEDG17.9.8 or CPEGD2.20.3. I found both of these files in the Sxth tuning software.
@nprform I still can't find it under patch files on SXTHNKTUNING, I did, however, contact them, and they said that the 1st Gen Veloster turbos do not require an ECU patch file to log and tune, so I guess I'm alright
